DEAR DIGITAL ARTISTS

This is NOT okay, do ya`ll see how small and brittle the new nibs are?? I usually only draw in weekends (I don`t press hard either) and now I have to change them every 3 weeks. 

Complain. Tell them this isn`t okay. Don`t let big companies rob artists because they have the most reliable products.

I’m not saying this is the artists’ fault but Huion tablets cost half as much, the only reason nobody seem to buy them are the almost slanderous reviews you find online. I’m glad I didn’t see them because they’re basically all wrong as far as I’m concerned - for instance my pen’s batteries last around a month, not hours like reviews suggest. So you know instead of giving a company a monopoly that they’re going to abuse, just buy from another brand. You don’t like their product ? Fuck them, go see somewhere else, it’s the best way to to make them understand.

some things to note with huion:

when I bought my h640p I got literally like... 20 free pen nibs, 8 in the pen stand and the rest in the box (and a free Lycra glove!). I genuinely don't think you'll have to buy nibs, ever.

aforementioned pen stand has a slot that you can use to remove your pen nibs hassle-free, so there's no fussing with them

that said: I heavily suggest getting a model that has a battery pen. h640p has a battery free pen that works exactly like wacom's, except in my experience it is extremely fragile compared to wacom's really robust pens

you also don't get any free software, and huion drivers don't work with everything & require fiddling for some programs, most notably SAI, so it's.. def something to be Aware Of before you buy.
