ever since I can think, I thought about Alan as being inspirational. I came in touch with his different movies through the last years and I´ve learned a lot of them.
.. taught me that true love means to tolerate and respect someone´s decisions. And that, no matter how much it pains you, to truly love someone sometimes means to see the other person happy - no matter if it´s you who´s making her feel that way. And that sometimes, that´s the real way to win someones love.
.. taught me, that your life can seem open as a book, free for everyone to read, yet sometimes, there are turns about to happen that no one would have ever thought were possible.
.. taught me, that sometimes you make the wrong decisions, but that is okay if only you´ll realise what your actions did to your loved ones.
.. taught me that it´s important to try and protect the ones close to you – only that sometimes you cannot really save them.

.. taught me that althrough no-one seems to understand you it is right to follow your heart and fight for what you think its right. And when you have to face loss it is to remember that somewhere, something of them remains – they are never really gone.
I had planned something big to post on this day, but when I was about to do so, nothing came to my mind but two simple words: thank you
and I really do think that this is - kind of – enough. To say thank you. For a man as talented, humble, beautiful, extraordinary and utterly fascinating as Alan. It was a hard day for all of us, when you left this earth, and it has been ever since – but most of all I am happy for a human being like you to have graced this earth and for me to have lived when you were still with us.
