Vampyroteuthis Infernalis

The name translates to “Vampire squid from hell.” It is not a vampire or a squid, it is actually an octopus. The vampire squid releases bio-luminescent ‘ink’ when defending it self to confuse other animals. It also turns itself inside out when in danger.

Actually, because it shares characteristics with both squid and octopuses, the vampire squid is in an order all its own, Vampyromorphida.

And by make due I mean use pillows and blankets and pieces of a mattress your human reluctantly let you tear up!
