The sandblasted redwood paintings and poster art of Woodstock artist Michael Hunt. Michael was conceived at the original Woodstock Festival and born in Honesdale, PA - the birthplace of the American railroad. His outsider hybrid brand of Pop & Folk Art explores & celebrates the limits and myths of the American Dream. Selected exhibitions: Zeke's Gallery in Montreal, CBGB’s 313 Gallery in NYC and the Wynwood Arts District Tour at Basel Miami. Hunt's sculpture "Heavenly Beatles" was auctioned by Sotheby's.com.

An evocation of Vonnegut's Billy Pilgrim, "unstuck in time," through a series of discontinuously experienced journeys of the Woodstock Library. Inspired by former Woodstock resident Bob Dylan's 1965 song, "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream" and Dr. Hall, whose former residence and office housed the Woodstock Library from 1927 until 2025.

Part of the series, “The West against itself (Eagle Café)” A series of photograph overlays reimagined as vintage Checkpoint Charlie posters in Cold War Berlin, time traveling to a present day America at war with the idea of America. Titles inspired by David Bowie Berlin Trilogy lyrics. In keeping with the folk art aspect of my work, the materials used are from my family's sign making business, such as vinyl and naturally-fallen California redwood.

This 3”x 2” aluminum LYRICAL SIGN, is from the Mountain Jam 2013 at Hunter Mountain “What Am I” series, inspired by Deer Tick’s Something to Brag About. The series is called LYRICAL SIGNAGE. You know that moment of synchronicity when you read and hear the same word? That is the intention in this conceptual piece thousands of people hanging out, listening to music and glance over and read the lyrics right as the singer is singing them.

Mountain Jam was an annual music festival held in upstate New York that began in 2005. It grew to become the largest rock music and camping festival in New York. The festival was held at Hunter Mountain ski resort for fourteen years, usually in early June.
