She could have technically bunkered down in UA High herself since the principal perceives her as one of the school’s own students, but that would’ve meant seeing Ochako’s parents. She doesn’t stay in one place for very long, either, since the very people she tries to help or save are basically ‘anti-hero’.

“Yeah...” he replied, gently wiping away some of the blood from her face, using a towel he’d managed to keep somewhat clean, before sitting down.

“I’m glad you’re okay... Midnight... she...” he stopped, looking down, and shaking his head, not wanting to continue.

“It’s bad... we may have detained most of them, but...”. He sat next to her in silence, “Karla’s in bad shape, too. She never gets tired, and she just... kept on going. Dunno if she’ll make it...”

He slumped forward, his face hidden by his messy hair, his typical calm breaking down to nearly full on sobbing,

“I don’t want to be alone again, Yuu... just... please, stop for now...”

News like that made her heart sink further into tempting despair. So many people injured if not killed... How many more can she even reach before it's too late? How many are already expiring with her just sitting here? How much more...? How much else can she truly do.....?

Just when she was about to force herself up onto her shaking feet, Jowi's crumbling disposition put a stop to her tracks. Yuu returned her gaze on him, him and all his broken glory. It hurt. So much. Seeing him beg like this hurt her right at the core.

"B-ut I.. can't..." Even though she felt that she had to object, Yuu couldn't hide the holes in her own demeanor at all. Her voice cracked just from speaking up alone. Hearing it only made it worse. She's tired, too. She's so, so afraid, too.

"I-I... I have to save everyone out there... I have to try. If I don't do something, more people will... will......" No, she can't succumb to sobs. She mustn't. Heroes are supposed to be the light of hope in the people's eyes. She's supposed to be able to bring smiles to everyone's faces, and yet... She's just...... so. Tired.

"...I-I can't.. bear the thought of all this..."

         She loved blood. It was beautiful, like glistening rivulets and pools of rubies. It was ridiculously sweet, like what the very nectar of the gods would taste like. It was beautiful, truly so, so beautiful…when it wasn’t hers. When she wasn’t hurt, because that was just nothing but a damn pain. 

         Nothing about her blood was all that good compared to everyone else’s. She didn’t understand why, no matter how much she tried to convince herself for the sake of those stupid appearances. She like to avoid seeing it as much as possible. But when the inevitable happened…well, she was lucky sweet little Yuu seemed to have found her. Well, she didn’t feel like dying or getting caught up in unnecessary mess, so of course she’d let the girl take her to her little hiding place. It wasn’t anything fancy, but hey, better than going to a hospital or someplace. Even if it would be better than sitting on the colder floor and wringing out bloodied rags into a bucket–

        “Bet this wasn’t how you thought your day’d go, huh, Yuucchan?”

Yuu knew that it'd be better if she brought Toga into the arms of more capable, more official healers among heroes and hospital workers alike. At the same time, she also knew what mess it'd bring about for Toga herself. She.. couldn't bring herself to leave her in a situation like that. In the end, the young hero just took her to her own little apartment, making sure that owner didn't see who she'd brought along.

"Frankly speaking, no. I was going to spend the day on some grocery shopping for the break, maybe even learn to crochet." Sarcasm wiggled its way in without much thought. Yuu was busy bringing over her emergency first aid kit, along with a handful of towels to wipe off all the blood caking the girl's body. She's going to need to buy bleach later on to clean off the blood on her, but she can worry about that at another time. Instead, she carefully began to address Toga's wounds, relieved to know those first aid practices weren't going to waste after all.

"..Still, as a hero, I need to be ready for anything. Expected the unexpected, and all that stuff. Hero talk aside, though, I also couldn't just ignore the state you're in... I care about you, too, you know."

Splotches of black spots in her blurring vision made it so hard to see who exactly was the one speaking to her. Was she.. bleeding? Ah, right, she definitely was. That'd explain why Yuu was struggling just to see and move to function. She pushed herself so much just to apprehend that villain that she'd completely ignored the terrible state her body had become. Now that she had defeated one of the villains for this mission, all the adrenaline in her body was finally disappearing. She couldn't help but lean herself against the other in an attempt to keep herself up so she could be properly addressed.

"...Sorry... I'm-- sure the other heroes will arrive to get me, though, you shouldn't have to worry about me..."

Yuu won't stop. She'll run and save as many people as she could possibly reach from a terrible villain-made disaster like this. This was what she strived to do as a hero, after all. She didn't care about not being put in the front lines. So long as she could arrive just a second quicker for the next injured person, then...

...This whole situation undoubtedly began to wear her spirit down. Seeing Shigaraki and his small fleet of noumus with Spinner and Dabi escape, and being unable to do anything about it when there were people to save... Still not hearing anything back from the front lines, nor from Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki and the others when they suddenly left... Jowi, too, as he joined the numbers in detaining all the PLF members and followers hiding from the heroes...

She's not sure how much time had passed before she finally found herself just sitting there among massive chunks of debris to give her legs a break. Yuu was so caked in dirt, dust and blood from pushing herself to save just one more person beneath precarious piles of rubble all over the city. She was so tired, struggling to keep herself up and going for everyone's sake. It didn't even occur to her that a familiar figure had finally arrived to see her in such a hollow state, only to sit next to her and help clean off all the mess from her face. She looked up at him, registering who it was, and yet.. she was still so preoccupied with the despair around her and her exhausted state preventing her from saving more.

"...Jowi-kun..." She wanted to hug him tight in relief over him being safe and alive, but she just.. couldn't. Her eyes would shift her gaze back towards all the destruction around them.

"... I.. have to keep going... There's still so many people under all that rubble..."

Alright he’ll admit it–he got pretty damn SCARED feeling someone make a grab for him. If the sharp cry and immediate squirming were any tell. Hearing the voice did help cut it short, especially before he could use those nifty new claws of his to get out of it.

Instead, he merely froze up, then tried to give her a habitual greeting, maybe teasing. Only to get out a soft little trill instead.

C--Cute... And so soft, too... Good thing she had self-control, otherwise she'd probably be cuddling the lil' guy right then and there. Oh, but the temptation was real bad... Was that a little 'mrrrp' he did? Cute...! So cute...!!

No, Yuu. Self-control. First things first, she needed to figure out whose cat was this or if he was a stray instead. She carefully carried him in one arm while giving little pets and scritches on his head and chin with her free hand. "Now where did you come from, little guy...? You have a name? An owner?"

Woah, a cat? What's a cat doing inside the dorm? Pretty sure nobody had a pet cat... The only pet in the building is Kouda's bunny...

--Ah. Now that she thought of it, if the cat ended up finding the bunny, there's going to be quite a ruckus. So she chases after the cat, eventually catching him and picking him up.

"Gotcha...!"
