and they don’t get paid for it they just do it because they’re having fun and they want to share their joy with you

Being a hyperfixator and fangirl is so funny bc one second you're like "oh this satosugu fic plot looks good, but it's a Formula 1 AU, and I know nothing about that..."

Next thing you know, you're 100k words in and you've also started watching a Formula 1 Netflix documentary bc the fic was so well-researched and well-written and made the themes of the source material fit so well into this RACING universe.

I get so sad for people who don't do fandom. They are missing out on life's true joys.
