Genuinely, I don't hate DmC: Devil May Cry. I don't think its by any means a phenomenal masterpiece, but I don't think the game itself is bad, just flawed (ok, that "fuck you" scene from the soda factory was pretty bad). I think it did so bad because they slapped the Devil May Cry title on it. If it has been Ninja Theory's own version of Dante's Inferno it wouldn't have had nearly as much hate than slapping on the title of a beloved series.

Knight finds new company. Something of a practice piece. I chose to draw this piece as it was the first thing to pop into my mind when I looked at the pose, and it eventually became an excuse to practice my lighting and rendering. It eventually became my own battle, I either missed this pixel or that layer or this or that.

I've deleted it from socials and added to it three times now, but I refused to post it again until I was happy with it. I think it's good where it's at now. By the end of this, I'm starting to feel like this knight too now.

I also learned how to record timelapses during this piece! (I live under a rock).
