"Thanks for helping me with this," Cosmos smiles, keeping his eyes closed as Helium helps him to dye his hair back green. He'd left it far too long and his roots were showing through while the green itself was fading.

"I've never been any good at dyeing my hair myself," he then adds with a chuckle, "You think the bar will be okay for a bit?"

“It’s nothing- I know it’s hard. No idea how Kobra does it alone sometimes.” Helium sighed, carefully and quickly parting the hair over and over again. These weren't idea conditions for getting a nice dye job, but it was worth a shot.

“Besides, we need to see each other when we aren’t working occasionally.” She sighed, carefully comparing the balance between fresh and old dye. If they didn’t have enough to do the whole head, they could at least pull it through strips nicely. “Speaking of off-work activities, you and Pop are getting pretty close.”

“It’s definitely a struggle,” he chuckles, resisting the urge to nod his head at her comment. He was starting to take a bit more time away from the bar on other’s advice, and it was strange, but also relaxing.

“Hm? Oh, yeah. Pop’s lovely, I really like her,” Cosmos tells her with a smile. But then he stops, and the smile suddenly drops.

“Did they say something to you? Am I too close for their comfort?”
