(Hey!!! This can be a question for you or a rp answer- whichever you'd prefer!!) What's Haylee's dynamic with everyone like??? (Especially Ashley, bc I really liked the post about them being like sisters!)
I'll answer it as myself as there is a lot to cover!
Slight TW for topics such as her father and her mother (generalizing since their whole story is pretty dark)
She gets along with pretty much anyone but let me go into depth;
I'll start off with Ashley! They had a bit of a hard time understanding each other since Haylee isn't much of a social person when it comes to strangers. There was a coldness between the two the first time they met but it faded as they got to know each other. Their friendship would blossom into a sister from another mother type of relationship. Since Haylee is an only child, she was the closest to a sister she could ever have. Aside from Sal, she is extremely close to Ash, she's her #1 confidant when it comes to everything aside from her dreams and her craft.
Next up, Todd. She sees him as a mega nerd but nothing wrong with that! She always finds herself learning more and more things. She was shy and a little offput by his interest in the paranormal at first (which is a reaction she also had to both Larry and Sal so not out of the ordinary). He'd eventually become the one person she'd go to when it came to her dreams and semi vision ish she would get as the years went by. She also absolutely loves Neil as a partner for him, 100% an ally as she's on the rainbow as well. (She is pansexual, just like me!)
Larry was an adjustement. She really didn't talk to him if she didn't have to until she finally warmed up to him. She LOVES clowning on him and messing with him like a little sister would. Her favorite activity (or well, prank) is to hide his paintbrushes and game cassettes. She always ends up telling him where she put them but she loves to witness the initial confusion.
She really hates Travis. She understands that his home life is most likely not the best for him to just, torment others but she still doesn't appreciate the attitude he has towards pretty much anything. She holds out her hand for redemption but doesn't have much faith as a teenager. As adults, they can and are civil and can actually have proper conversations even though Haylee is still weary of him to some degree.
When it comes to everyone's parents, she is polite and reserved. The only people she'll get out of her shell for and share her thoughts with are Lisa and Henry. They are the only adults in the know about her home life and her abusive father, which is why she spends most of her time at either Sal's or Larry's if she's not at Ashley's.
Finally, Sal. Sweet boy. She was flat out confused about him. She couldn't understand how and why she could invade his dreams, which kind of scared her at first, same for him. When she first met him face to face, it was like a magnet, something just clicked. He is by far the closest to Haylee, knowing her deepest secrets and the extent of her abilities. He actively knows about Haylee's craft and knows about her mother beyond the staged suicide as she has appeared to him before. Even as friends, he already knew their path were intertwined, which is partly why their friendship became more. It was just destiny and it felt just right.
