* Most of it is smudged except for a few lines and one singular picture of a child seemingly around age 7. The polaroid is clearly old.

MmMmmmMmmMM lore time

Vics was born around a century following the war. Her mother, Blanche, decided to recruit an old friend (cough cough) to bring back what was left of her secret human lover since she still had his soul in her possession.

That experiment gave her a straight up child.

They thought the experiment failed at first until they came back to the labs to a monster looking strinkingly like Blanche. For some (still) unknown reason, the child was able to maintain a human like form when holding the very broken remains of Blanche's lover's soul. She did prefer this form, which is how she ended up with the pendant around her neck.

Vics would live most of her life in a secret part of the labs where her mother, ■■■ and eventually Alphys kept her hidden. No one could know she existed.

Until her adult self became too curious and found a breach in their security system and slipped out of the labs. She would walk out all the way to Snowdin, where she would promtly pass out from exhaustion.

And the rest is history...

Lil note; unlike other monsters trying to murk Frisk, she actually semi protects them. She's almost obsessed and possessive over them. She will willingly put herself in danger if it meant their soul came out of the ordeal intact.

Back on the what ifs and shenanz

My heart belongs to the og Undertale but I couldn't help myself but wonder... What would Vics be like in certain AUs and what her relationships would look like.

I'm going off of my 2 favorite AUs, Swap and Fell.

Lore and design notes under cut

Swap! Vics;

- Monster with a seemingly human soul.

- Super talkative and sweet, loves to socialize and meet new people.

- Indifferent to Frisk but isn't an antagonist to them. She doesn't have a motherly instinct towards them but does act like a big sister instead.

- Does not smoke.

- She clashes with Papyrus (the unending beef) often while being sweet, understanding and patient with Sans.

- Dead mom, alive dad. Wears the Delta rune on a pendant in her mother's honor.

- Keeps her shields.

Fell! Vics;

- Does not possess her locket as it broke, her father's soul vanishing with it.

- Constant poker face when out in public. She doesn't speak much, to the point people think she might be mute. She is not.

- She bites, don't approach. When Vics goes off, she goes OFF. She is vicious and violent with a capital V. 3 things can stop her when she goes off the rails; 1. Being knocked unconscious, 2. Frisk (no matter what, she cannot bring herself to hurt them, she does not know why.) And 3. Sans (self explanatory I feel like).

- Speaking of Sans; they fight often, it be verbally or physically. They always make a show of it and she isn't shy to show that she absolutely hate him in public. Behind closed doors is a different deal. They're seemingly extremely close and often have smoking sessions together. They almost seem friendly most times until he or she presses each others' buttons. The tension between the two is palpable and could be cut with a knife.

- Vics loses her shields. She gains sharper fangs and offensive magic (extend her nails to claws, fire powered bullet pattern.) She does not protect, she mainly attacks. If Frisk is near death and she is close, she will use her body and take the damage to protect them.
