Stelera's Basic LED Tutorial
This is a quick tutorial for how to make a mask (or just about anything) with LEDs. It’s just kind of a basic guide to LEDs for cosplay props or accessories. This particular tutorial focuses on making rings of LEDs, but the concepts are applicable to any LED project.

Disney’s Queen Elsa Frozen - Inspired Makeup Tutorial & Disney’s Princess Anna Frozen - Inspired Makeup Tutorial by Ellend Muzzakky
Reblog Time!
Remember when we were asked about how to cosplay while wearing hijab? For all who were interested (and areinterested) in this topic: here’s one of the way of doing this.
(Oh, and these videos are also pretty great makeup tutorials)
Cosplay tip: Crepe Beards
You will need the following: -Crepe hair (you can purchase this on eBay) -Sprit Gum (Costume stores, makeup sites such as Kryolan,eBay etc) -Scissors -Makeup brush
1) Cut a piece of crepe hair from the braid and tease out the hair. You want the sections to be relatively thin so you can build up the beard gradually. 2) Apply spirt gum to small section, I usually start from under the chin and work my way up. Wait until the spirit gum goes ‘tacky’. You can determine this by touching the spirit gum with your pinky finger - if you see small ‘strands’ appear you know it is tacky. 4) Apply a small section of hair (you do not need to worry about the length just yet) apply pressure with the handle of your makeup brush. Repeat steps 1-4 until you get the desired thickness/shape for your beard. 5) Trim to desired length/style when the entire beard has been applied.
You can use this method for eyebrows, moustaches, ageing hair on bald caps etc. This method can be used for theatre and has been used in tv/film. I personally think it’s a cost effective way to make a slightly realistic looking beard.
Now you can have crazy beards for cosplay!
P.s I stole these images from google images but I’ve done this method many times for my Hair and Media Makeup course.
Great for either crossplay or if you want a beard for a costume but don’t want to grow one out.
For stubble:
Unbraid the small lengths of crepe hair/wool.
Gently comb out and mix mix lengths of crepe into the desired hue.
Take a pair of sharp scissors and cut the wool into roughly fourth-inch sections.
This is best achieved by cutting the wool over a margarine tub or paper plate. (You won’t need much, but the extra wool can be kept in a plastic film case until needed later.)
Pour the wool bits into the palm of your hand and roll them into a ball.
Put the ‘hairball’ down for a moment.
Paint spirit gum (or desired adhesive) onto face where you want their stubble to be.
Clean off any adhesive on your fingers (unless you want stubble there) and pick up your ‘hairball’.
Holding the ‘hairball’ pinched on both sides, pull it apart into two half-pieces.
Taking one of the halves, blot the fuzzy side onto the adhesive much like you would if sponging on stubble with makeup. — If the stubble is too long, it can be trimmed with a pair of sharp scissors when dry.
Have fun with your instant masculinity!
**Tutorial: Making Your Own Wefts**

(Note I had a hell of a time trying to get these uploaded…)
Interested in making your own wefts out of loose fiber, but the fibers aren’t long enough to use the fold over method? Well, with some excess fabric, thread, and tacky glue, you can make usable wefts that are thick and brushable! Click the above link to learn how!

HOW TO COVER THICK EYEBROWS: Cosplay tutorial. After my Uta cosplay I got a lot of questions on how I covered my eyebrows, mine are rather thick and a lot of people have trouble covering their eyebrows when they’re as thick as mine so here is my tutorial for you! This by no means the perfect way or right way, this is just what works for me. MATERIALS: Glue stick, plastic knife, White powder, concealer, regular powder and face paint (optional)
Get a gluestick, doesn’t matter the color. Cut of a big chunk of it and slap that sucker onto your brows, don’t worry it will wash out and not tear off your eyebrows. I’ve done this many times. Take a plastic knife or what ever tool you prefer and smooth the glue across your brows till they are fully covered. (I rushed so mine could have been blended better but eh whatever)
You will want to get some white powder/makeup and cover your eyebrows where the glue is. I unfortunately ran out of my powder so I used white face paint instead for this, while it still works you’re MUCH better off with a white powder, it gives it a cleaner look.
Time to use yo liquid concealer. Smother yo brows with concealer till no purple can be seen, I also used a little bit of pink facepaint to cover places where the purple stood out a lot.
Now take your powder and whatever other makeup you use and BLEND IT ALL OVAH. You want to make it look as seamless as you can (Step one comes in VERY handy here, the better you blended the glue the better it will look at the end, I went back and blended my glue a little more.)
AND TA DAH! Now you’re an eyebrowless beautiful person.
