🐧💙 To Nova, the 2000s Brought Club Penguin… 💜❄️

After the bright magic of the 90s came the 2000s ~ and for Nova, that meant one of the sweetest little worlds of all: Club Penguin.

Club Penguin became one of her favorite little worlds almost instantly.

Her vampire guardians saw how much she loved it right away ~ how excited she got waddling around the island, meeting other penguins, and discovering new places ~ and before long, they surprised her with a membership because she was playing so much.

Nova adored making friends on the island. There was something so special to her about a world full of penguins laughing, dancing, playing games, and just being together. She loved that soft feeling of belonging somewhere bright and busy and full of little joys.

She took such loving care of her puffles too. Feeding them, playing with them, making sure they were happy, and choosing favorites to follow her around on little adventures ~ Nova loved every second of it. To her, puffles weren’t just pets. They were tiny fluffy friends.

And of course, she spent so much time decorating her igloo. Nova turned it into the coziest little snow-dream home imaginable ~ soft colors, cute furniture, sweet little details, and a space that felt warm and magical even in the middle of all that snow.

She loved dressing up her penguin too, changing outfits all the time just to see what felt cutest that day. Her penguin’s name was NovaMarshmallow ~ the most perfect little snowy name for her.

One of her favorite things of all was dancing in the Night Club with other penguins. Nova loved the lights, the music, the feeling of everyone moving together, and the happy, playful energy of it all. She was there all the time, twirling her penguin around and feeling like she was part of something bright and alive.

To Nova, Club Penguin felt like a snowy little wonderland ~ a world of friendship, puffles, cozy rooms, silly outfits, and dancing under colorful lights.

In the stories where Nova’s life unfolds in the 2020s, she discovers Neopets ~ and it doesn’t take long at all before it becomes one of her favorite little places on the internet.

Her username is marshmallowfangs ~ soft and sweet with just a little vampire sparkle, perfectly hers.

And of course, one Neopet is never enough for Nova.

She fills her account with tiny beloved friends, each one with a name that sounds like it came straight out of her own heart ~ Blushberrybat, Blushmallow, Bubblewishbat, CandyBabyBat, Coralwish, Lunawishy, Mewmuffin, Moonwishy, Nebulapaw, Novasnowpuff, Pastelwishie, Petalwishbat, Prismblush, Skittlekiss, Skywishie, SprinkleMew, StarbatNova, Starblushy, StardustMew, Starwishbat, Starwishpup, Sunwishbat, Taffytrix, and Wishblush. She loves all twenty of them fiercely.

To Nova, Neopets feels like a giant toy box crossed with a fairy-tale world ~ full of little creatures to care for, customize, love, and collect. She checks on them carefully, feeds them, dresses them up, and looks at them with the same tenderness she gives all the soft things she loves most. Her Korbats are especially precious to her, little bat-shaped pieces of her own heart fluttering through her account.

She also pours that same love into her little Neopian spaces. Her shop, Pastel Starlight Nook, is filled with starry little things ~ treasures that feel soft, dreamy, and touched by moonlight. And in her gallery, Cotton Candy Treasures, she gathers all her favorite cotton-candy-colored finds, turning it into a tiny world of blush, pastel, and sparkle. She loved how bright everything felt. The stickers. The glitter gel pens. The toy aisles full of rainbows. The plastic little treasures tucked into vending machines and clear glittery purses. To Nova, it felt like the world had suddenly decided to become softer, cuter, and more playful all at once.

The 90s were Nova’s dream era.

She adored Lisa Frank with her whole heart ~ all those neon dolphins, pastel leopards, glittering skies, and impossible rainbow worlds. To Nova, it felt like someone had opened up her little vampire heart and turned it into school supplies.

Nova loved Days of Bloom 2026 so much.

From the moment she arrived in the fields, her whole world felt soft and golden ~ sunlight spilling across endless hills of sunflowers, swaying gently around her like a dream. 🌻✨

She dressed herself in the Bloom Sunflower Sundress, the Sunflower Bandana Hair, and the tiny glowing Sunflower earrings, building the sweetest little outfit she could. Then she added her blue butterfly wings and the curled antennae of the Migrating Butterfly Charmer, their yellow tips glowing softly.

And just like that, Nova turned herself into a little sunflower fairy butterfly. 💛🦋

She spent her time running through the fields with her friends, laughing and playing among the flowers, her wings catching the light as she moved. Everything felt warm, bright, and alive ~ like the whole world was blooming just for them.

One of her favorite things of all was helping care for the sunflowers. Nova loved picking up the little bucket, watering each plant carefully, and watching them grow taller and brighter over time. It felt gentle and important to her ~ like she was helping something beautiful come to life.

She would pause sometimes just to look at them ~ rows of golden flowers reaching up toward the sky, glowing in the sunlight. To Nova, it felt like standing inside a field of little suns.

Days of Love is Nova’s very favorite Sky event of all. She loves Valentine’s Day so much, so an event all about love, friendship, sweet moments, and glowing pink and purple magic feels like it was made just for her.

She always gets so happy the moment Days of Love arrives in Sky. Everything feels softer and more beautiful ~ full of warmth, sparkles, and little moments shared with other sky kids.

One of Nova’s favorite things is watching the falling stars. She loves standing there and looking up at them, all glittering across the sky like little wishes falling down for all the sky kids to share.

She also loves the purple crystals so much. She thinks they’re beautiful to watch, and she loves listening to the soft sounds they make too. There’s something magical about them that feels calm and dreamy and full of wonder.

Nova has all of the Days of Love items, and some of her most beloved favorites are the Days of Love Amethyst-Tipped Tails, with their pretty purple-tipped high ponytails, and the Days of Love Amethyst Accessory, the tiny glowing crystalline hearts on the headband she wears in her hair. She especially loves how they glow when she hugs other sky kids ~ it makes every hug feel even sweeter.

She also adores the Days of Love Serendipitous Scepter and loves making red, pink, and purple heart fireworks with it. It makes her so happy to fill the sky with little bursts of love and color.

And of course, Nova absolutely loves riding with her friends on all the Days of Love props. She loves the gondola, the swing, and the seesaw so much. Sitting together on them feels so special, especially when the little red hearts begin to appear after sitting together for a while. Those tiny hearts always make Nova smile.

She even loves carrying those props with her when she plays Sky, so if she’s with friends ~ or even kind strangers ~ they can stop and swing together anytime. To Nova, that’s one of the sweetest parts of the event ~ turning an ordinary moment into a happy little memory with someone else.

Days of Love always leaves Nova with so many cute, happy memories. It feels soft, sparkling, affectionate, and full of togetherness ~ everything she loves most about Sky.

For Nova, Days of Love isn’t just her favorite because it’s pretty.

Nova had the happiest time during Days of Fortune this year. The whole festival felt magical ~ glowing lanterns, little stalls, and Sky kids gathering together to celebrate.

But her absolute favorite thing was the carousel ride.

Once the spirits finished building it, Nova kept going back again and again. She loved sitting on the carousel mantadeers, listening to the soft carousel music and spinning gently while other players hopped on beside her. Sometimes the whole ride would fill up with Sky kids laughing, waving, and sending emotes to each other.

It made Nova so happy to see everyone riding together.

Her vampire guardians also surprised her with the Fortune Plush Mount, and she instantly fell in love with it. Now she rides it everywhere she goes in Sky, happily bouncing across realms.

And Nova never keeps the fun to herself.

Whenever her friends are with her, she always invites them to ride the plushie mount together so they can travel through the skies side by side. Nova loves sharing little adventures like that ~ flying together, exploring together, and turning every realm into a tiny celebration of friendship.

For Nova, Sky events are little pockets of magic she gets to share with other sky kids.

Seeing everyone gathered together ~ riding, exploring, and enjoying the festival side by side ~ makes her feel safe, happy, and full of wonder. 💜🦇✨

The AURORA concert will always be one of the most magical memories in Nova’s heart.

AURORA is Nova’s favorite singer ~ and the Sky x AURORA concert was the first time music truly felt like something beautiful and alive to her. After becoming a vampire, Nova could physically hear sound, but it did not feel simple or familiar. It was overwhelming, strange, and new. Then the concert began, and for the first time, sound became something more than noise.

It became magic.

Wrapped in dreamlike lights, endless color, and the feeling of thousands of sky kids gathering together, Nova listened to AURORA’s voice and felt like she was being welcomed into an entirely new world.

AURORA’s voice felt soft and ethereal and full of wonder. It drifted around Nova like starlight ~ gentle, glowing, and full of feeling. The music did not feel harsh or frightening. It felt tender. It felt safe. It felt like hearing had opened into something luminous.

🩷🫧 Archie the Axolotl ~ A Squishmallow Just Like Nova 🫧🩷

Nova loves many soft things in her world ~ pastel skies, fairy lights, and Squishmallows tucked beneath blankets ~ but one of the most special ones to her is Archie the Axolotl.

Archie is a shy little Squishmallow with a beautiful talent: he talks with his hands. Instead of speaking with words, Archie communicates through sign language, sharing his thoughts and feelings with careful, expressive movements. Because Nova is Deaf and speaks with her hands too, Archie feels wonderfully familiar to her ~ like a plush friend who understands her language.

When Nova first learned about Archie, her heart lit up right away. A Squishmallow who signs? One who teaches other Squishmallows how to communicate the same way she does? To Nova, that feels like a tiny piece of her world living inside a soft plush friend.

Archie is kind, gentle, and brave in his own quiet way. He even started a sign language club so other Squishmallows could learn to sign too, helping them understand each other without needing spoken words. Nova loves that about him ~ the way he makes space for everyone to communicate and belong. She also loves that Archie loves to dance, because Nova loves dancing too ~ swaying and spinning to music in her own soft, joyful way.

She also loves that Archie feels the rhythm of music rather than hearing it the way others do.
