Since I haven’t been able to find canon info on the drill clones I’m doing it myself.

Extremely Vague Ideas below:

I like to think they’re funny sludge. I am not immune to funny slime creatures.

They are some sort of liquid matter that can shapeshift to copy the stats and skills of any driller, but are unable to copy much outside of that. They cannot copy personalities outside of basic things like being happy if they win.

I don’t know if the clones in-game are like explained to be an experiment or something that’s global like Holinger-Z’s reproduction models?? But I like the idea of it being a new experiment to once again- attempt to keep drillers from more perilous jobs. There might be multiple?? But maybe not a lot if it’s a new experiment.

Def gonna think abt these things some more n see if I can come up with more concrete HCs which means I get to think abt the Drill Lab FINALLY. Anyways uhh I think the drill clones are such a cool but also unsettling concept and I’ll probably go wild with them at some point.

Fighting For Nothing by Meg and Dia (if you know me you know it’s one of my favorite songs ever, but to be frank every classic Meg And Dia song is).

Nice To Know You by Pink Panthress (Trying to get through the album but I’m so easily obsessed with on one song on an album and this is it).

I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace (Bc ofc I grew up with the song and it gets stuck in my head for at least 3 days once a year bc I find a character to project onto it).

Lovefool by The Cardigans + some of its remixes (Took me until recently to realize how sad the song is honestly).

The whole KPDH soundtrack because it’s genuinely so good and no I will never stop talking about it. (Takedown + This Is What It Sounds Like are my favorites BY FARRRR thank everyone who’s ever made edits with enhanced vocals harmonies/extra stuff I owe you sm).

Honorable mention bc I have been listening to Daphne and Celeste again since they did a concert last year (I think) and like good for them?? Was not expecting that at all.

oughhh my god I wish I DID have HCs about them bc I LOVE THEM but I do not at the moment.

Other than their rivalry with the main drill gang and the Eguri/Regina beef. And sometimes Regina/Keel beef.

I def, think Keel might not be as much of an asshole as he seems though bc he clearly cares about his friends. “Character who’s really mean/evil to everyone except people they care about” trope my beloved.
