so i'm sort of falling onto the conclusion that i don't really think rp, at least indie rp, is for me anymore
there are a lot of rpers/friends i have on here that have probably been the reason for me sticking around longer than i've been interested and i am really really reluctant to even let go of a lot of ships i've had on here especially the ones that have just started off because i was excited to do em but idk man
i can't deal with rping when it's style over substance, and an entire universe is shared between only two people, and everything seems to be about shipping even though everyone doesn't want to admit it, and nearly every ship becomes codependent because there are only two characters, so one character can't go off and have a friend without it crossing into another verse, and i dunno
that's just how i've been feeling about it lately
i enjoy writing, but this isn't the kind of writing format i enjoy, and it's taken me a while to realise that
so basically the point of this post is
i'm considering this blog, and my blog for nick, done as they are now
i'm gonna say temporary hiatus, because i don't like making final statements like that, but even if i do feel like coming on here, i'm probably gonna stop myself from doing it tbh
i might make a group rp or something, and maybe that sort of setting with the right people will help me actually write like i want to and write in a world that seems real and healthy
but as it stands i'm sort of just gonna back off from rping/writing save for the occasional 1x1 rp
speaking of which; if we do have a ship on here or on nick's account that you want to continue, and actually put effort into developing and fleshing out, just let me know because i'd really love to
