Bake My Day
Goal: Post by end of 2026 😭
Work to finish: I still have to finish writing/editing it lol
Biggest roadblock: Motivation. I have been so unmotivated and have had writers block so double whammy lol but I really want to get something done this year
2. Sewing Project
Goal: Finish by end of August
Work to finish: uhhh almost everything lmao. I have to hand sew the appliqué (surface details like the eyes, nose, mouth etc) and then actually put together the rest of it
Biggest roadblock: Guess what? It’s motivation again :] I have also been dealing with not being able to fall asleep until 1 in the morning so I’m tired and don’t feel like doing anything
3. Death itself is undone OR half return
Goal: Get one chapter done by the end of the year for either fic
Work to finish: a lot. Just a lot. But mainly writing it
Biggest roadblock: Say it with me everyone, motivation! (And writers block) But I will not let the two stay in hiatus forever because I truly do love these fics
I know I have been pretty absent this year as I really just haven’t felt like writing but I’m hoping to get something done by the end of the year! I have many plans for different wips so who knows maybe they’ll finally be written as well :D

“She said Catan isn’t spicy, can you believe that?” TK huffs, dropping his blue seltzer bottle onto the counter a little harder than he intended. It lands with a thunk.
Marjan straightens in her chair, indignant.
“Not spicy? How spicy does she need?” She points an outraged finger at TK. “I can make it spicy. I’ll make it so spicy she’ll think I shoved a ghost pepper up her ass.”
TK takes another gulp, though he really needs to slow down. He’s already polished off about half the bottle, he can feel the bubbles from the carbonation starting to build in his belly. Carlos warned him this would happen when he brought home a Costco case of liter-sized bottles.
“I dunno, Marj, maybe we should humor her.”
“Humor her? You mean like play a different game?”
“She did mention Scattergories.”
Marjan shoots him with a look like he just suggested she have a foot amputated for fun.
“We are so not playing Scattergories.”
“Monopoly?”
She sticks her tongue out and makes a gagging noise.
“Oh! I got a bunch of boxes from my mom the other week, I think my old board games are in there. What about Candy Land?”
“You played Candy Land?”
TK puts a dramatic hand over his heart. “I stan for Queen Frostine.”
“Oh my god,” Marjan sputters on her tea.
“Yeah," he chuckles. "Mom knew I was gay years before I did.”
After rewatching the frist episode of 9-1-1 lone star im even more confused on how there's no fics of nanteo when nascy was interm captain like they state in the frist episode that in medical emergency ems takes say in them (i think they forgot that after that episode lol also I don't know why i didn't know that about my state when I love to watch lone star) like don't people love power dynamics and hight difference in fucs or is it because its a mlw relationship and not mlm one?

Mordecai and Donut both knowing that the reason Carl insisted on Donut being the one with the manager benefit is because if he died then Donut would still have someone. If he died then Mordecai would do his damndest to get Donut to take a deal on the deepest floors she can manage. If he died then Mordecai would keep Donut alive by any means necessary.
What Carl doesn’t realise is that Mordecai will move all of the heavens and align the stars to try and keep both of them alive. That *because* Carl isn’t the one with the manager benefit Mordecai tries his hardest to pull Carl back from the River because if he dies then what will that do to Donut?
What will *Mordecai* do if he loses one of the crawlers that made him hope and love and believe in a future all over again?
