Four.

Has it ever crossed your mind that NEWS was “meant to be” four? It definitely has, for me at least.

1. NEWS acronyms-4 letters, 4 members. Perfectly described as follows: Newscaster K-chan. Entertainer Tego. Writer Shige. Stylist Massu. Is this just a coincidence?

2. Member colors- purple(k-chan) and yellow(Massu) are complimentary colors. And guess what? So are pink(Tego) and green (Shige). Is this just a coincidence?

3. Tegoshi, a guy that is “meant-to-be” an ace. Remember when NEWS first appeared, as a form of 9 members? We all do. Where was little Tegoshi then? Somewhere in the back, a kid who was hidden behind the spotlight, young and inexperienced. Before he became Johnny’s, he was number one at everything. Soccer, school, leadership…. He is meant to be at the top. We all know that. Can you imagine the hardship he went through, all those countless efforts he spent on practicing dancing and singing. At least to catch up with others and yet no recognition awarded just because he was the youngest and the most inexperienced. How must have he felt? But look at him now. Where is he? At.The.top. As a part of member who leads the group with his amazing singing and skills. He earned this spot when NEWS became four. His contribution to the group was and is meant to be something great and significant. His place to shine is now here. Now I can say that THIS is not just a coincidence.

4. Lastly, similar to the statement 3, every individual member is fulfilling their own ability in their own way. Meaning, they all have the place to shine individually outside of the group. Back in old days, to be quite honest, these four were not actively recognized. But look at them now. K-chan with his Newscaster work. Shige with his writing skills, publishing books, with new movie and drama released. Massu with his talent of fashion and design, creating NEWS’s concert wears. And Tego with not only with itteQ, but with his knowledge of soccer, being the main caster for various soccer tournaments.

What I can say is that I am glad that I met NEWS. Period. Thank you NEWS for brining such a joy in my life. Truly. I mean it. And I can’t wait for their greater achievements in 2016.

RIGHT SO I JUST FINISHED REWATCHING TANGLED, AND

I just got hit by this realization.

Eugene is telling this as a bedtime story to their kids.

Like, all I could imagine is this adorable little brown haired kid with green eyes sitting in bed watching as he makes this really dramatic face, and begins

“This is the story of how I died!”

and they look a little scared, so he quickly goes

“Don’t worry, this is actually a very fun story and the truth is, it isn’t even mine. This is the story of a girl named Rapunzel and it starts with the sun.”

And they both look at Rapunzel real quick because, hey, Mom’s in the story, great!

And by the end they’re both teasing each other and making sappy faces and the kid’s giggling and half asleep and

“There you go, kiddo. That’s the story of how we met. Sweet dreams, sunshine. Tomorrow night we’re gonna tell you the story of how your Aunt Elsa froze her entire fucking country because of her emotional issues.”

“EUGENE!”

“WHAT?”

Ohayou~ :) I don’t remember seeing any dancing Ryu gifs, unfortunately. Since he’s sharing the stage with several guys and the camera moves too fast, it’s a little difficult to capture his moves. And for other performances where there’s considerable focus on him, I think the choreography hardly qualifies as “dancing”.

But here, I made a couple of dancing Ryu gifs for you. :) For the first gif, I just put together some of his parts in BANG! from Super Handsome Live 2013.
