This past year I’ve seen the societal norms and expectations we have fought to establish crumble before my eyes. I’ve seen safe places become war zones, diversity become the targeted enemy, scathing tweets override constructive conversation, and fear utilized for the manipulation of votes. We are better than this new norm. I respect your skepticism, I embrace your discontent with the world around you but please, take a moment to consider using that energy to build bridges - not walls.
