BITCH ME TOO
My friend’s boss put this up the day after I got her hooked on Pokemon Go.
HAHAHAHAHA
Dallas Police Chief David Brown, in a statement, said three officers were shot and killed and seven other wounded by two snipers who are still at large.
This is turning into a fucking blood bath. And a constant reminder that you are not safe anywhere, at any time. Safety is now just an illusion. Now three police officers who are innocent of any crime against the public are dead. And other people are being wounded. This is equal parts horrifying and embarrassing.Â
Edit: Oh, now it’s 4 police officers.
don't trust anyone who can't be happy and supportive of you when things are going well.
Or who only unloads THEIR personal shit on you and never ever asks how you're doing. That ain't cute. You want to talk to someone about your problems? Get a therapist. Friendship is a two way street, if you're not down to ride, leave me alone.
you all have permission to come to my funeral and give wildly conflicting accounts of my life
Please. I want nothing more than to be shrouded in a confusing mesh of myth and fact
I support this as well.
Congratulations Ciara!
Potty training win!
@oldmeedsy lets get two!
But really where can I buy this?
THIS IS SO FUNNY! I just bought this at Home Depot and was all psyched because we didn't need to use a training potty when Vince was ready and then I got home and realized my toilet is circular and the seat is for an elongated bowl. And I can't find them in the circular shape :(
Fibromyalgia
So… after I had Vincent I noticed that when I wake up in the morning my legs and ankles hurt like hell (all the way up my calf). They’re stiff and uncomfortable and generally feel like I walked 10,000 miles. I also have noticed sometimes my arms and hands are sore at times. It COULD be the way I sleep but I feel way too achey and stiff for someone my age. I’m also getting a ton of tension headaches. Even if I slept like crap in a weird position I don’t think it should be lasting throughout the day for as long as it has. I’ve been researching it and I’m pretty sure I might have fibromyalgia. Some days it’s worse than others.
Anyone else with this? Can we chat about symptoms? I see my PCP this Friday but it’s kind of worrying me. I don’t want to have some chronic condition…
Did you have an epidural? To be honest I have these feelings also, and have only had them since having my daughter. My dr said it could be from the epidural, it can also be because your joints are still limber and loose as they were to accommodate the baby for a while and it will be that way for a while
Hey, I did have one. But this is my second baby. I had an epidural both times. I would say this is a lot more chronic than it ever was before. I guess it's a possibility it could be related to the birth. Never really considered that.

Update!
Diesel was all siphoned out and car is running fine. Crisis averted! Phew. That was a really annoying and time consuming mistake.
:(
Omfg.
Yesterday was so stupid.
I needed gas so I go with the baby to the gas station after meeting up with my husband’s family. I specifically seek out a Shell station because my Giant gas rewards points will give me 50 cents off per gallon of gas and that’s helpful. So, I go to this shell station I’m not familiar with and apparently was really fucking distracted. I was entertaining the baby and not looking at what I was doing and put 5 gallons of diesel in my car.
I realize what I did when the pump kept clicking off. And I was like “that’s… weird?” I called my husband immediately knowing I had done a really not so good thing. Thankfully I did not start my car. Just in case you don’t know Diesel is a completely different type of fuel than petrol gas. It’s less combustible and has a lubricant in it (so it can literally gunk up your engine and fuel system). He said they’d have to siphon it out. So, basically a tow truck and 4 hours later my car is basically empty of the diesel. At least we hope. I haven’t gone over to pick up up yet but we need to replace it with high octane gasoline now because diesel lowers the combustion rate and while it burns off the car will smoke (black smoke, too). So…. I’m nervous. I had a legitimate breakdown yesterday thinking I had ruined my fucking car. And we can only hope we got it all out. Greg said we basically need to dilute it as much as possible, whatever is left over and hope for the best.Â
Better bet I’ll NEVER do that again. And the station is set up differently than most older ones. This one had the diesel handle on the left where it’s normally all the way to the right and colored completely differently. It was deceiving looking.
@lmosfamily In my defense, the station is newer and there are two pumps but the handle on diesel is usually green and on the right side, this one was opposite. This one was yellow and the button had this green ring surrounding it which is also usually what is around the lowest octane gas option. So, it would be easy to make the mistake I did if you’re distracted, or not paying attention which clearly I wasn’t. I think we can add fuel pump cleaner to it as well if it has trouble. I am hoping we sucked it dry, or mostly dry. Greg said he got 6 gallons out of it which is good and sounds about right.
@theworldisdewandyet It was horrendous, especially the day it had to happen. The one day every mechanic shop is closed.Â
No I agree, the diesel is normally to the right and like super obvious, so if they deviated from that, I’d be thrown off too. The only reason I mentioned the additive is because I know with a diesel engine, even a tiny bit of gas can ruin the engine. I wasn’t sure if there was anything else that can help. :/
Right?! And apparently they used to make the nozzle big so you couldn’t even stick it in the neck of a gas-using car but now they’re different and the nozzle is smaller and it fit my fuel neck just fine. I was super surprised.
I think I’ve read the best you can do is fill the tank ALL the way with gas and put in some fuel cleaner. The best part is that I am supposed to take it in for emissions...might have to delay that until it runs better. And yeah, I was told by my husband’s family doing the opposite would have meant RIP to the engine.
