My name is Karmen, I go by she/her, 21 years old, and I'm a self-taught artist based in Thailand!
This is a FL page where I'm gonna yell, shitpost, and draw. I love being silly, and I will create silly content. This is a fun-zone! Light nsfw warning for any crude humour.
I'm still pretty new to FL (started playing in Feb 2026)...but I'm hyperfixated over this game and its characters enough to make a Tumblr lol. Please accept me into your marvellous fandom!
Be friends with me on FL!!!!! My main account is Sue Popovy. You can pen me as either Jane or Sue. I only have one account for all my blorbos despite my username being Sue.
I'm also a big bat-kisser and love OC x canon ships / OCs in general. Feel free to show me! My DMs are always open
The Pyro-Maestro (Jane) - An reserved, bizarre artist with an obsession *cough* love for the Correspondence. Her mind is constantly brimming with nightmares and visions incomprehensible. She uses this as inspiration for her art, painting her terrors (and also incorporating sigils). To her, it's beautiful. To others? Perhaps they need a moment.
The Flinty Apostle (Sue) - A reckless revolutionary with a god-savior complex who wants to end ALL the Masters. Possibly associated with the Sisterhood. She's gotten herself into many fights that she can't win, resulting in a mauled and tomb colonist appearance.
// You are free to ask me questions about them! //
Whoagh⦠I have a Master OC for Fallen London now⦠wild. Everyone say hi to Mr. Damages
Some notes on this freak:
- the Master of Insurance. You can get coverage for anything in London, it just has to go through Mr. Damages
- Real friendly with Tomb-Colonists, and is the only employer around who actively seeks them out to hire
- Tends to arrive at scenes of major accidents entirely unannounced
- has a penchant for collecting and hoarding mementos of tragedy, from burnt scraps of buildings brought down by arson to a newspaper clipping detailing a factory explosion that killed dozens to the nameplate from a sunken ship to the hood of a New Newgate gaoler plucked from the smoldering wreckage of their aircraft. Anything goes
- Thinks of itself as a jokester. Always has some annoying little quip or comment about the misfortunes it takes such pleasure in witnessing
- big fan of the Vake much to every other Masterβs chagrin
- Got exiled for keeping a memento of an event that the Judgements would have much rather been wiped from all of astral history. Was told to destroy it or face punishment; it walked itself down to the Neath, clutching that star-fragment close to its chest.
So mad I'm just a mid-game chud with none of the items required to help the Masters build the device in Mr Chimes' Clearing Out. I'm truly just here for emotional support while they work their ass off to prevent a catastrophe. I'm the good little cheerleader passing out water bottles.
What are your favourite details to draw when drawing your characters?
Sorry for responding a bit late, but thank you for the very fun question!
The Pyro-Maestro: I honestly love drawing her eyes. Just everything about her eyes. I love how they're downturned and riddled with sleeplessness. Jane's got this runny eyeshadow (one could theorize it's actually ash) that I absolutely LOVE adding when doing the finishing touches. I think it shows so much of her character and who she is: A mess. Plus, I think it's beautiful. I love runny makeup. Her eyes embody everything I want others to know about her by the first glance. She's a sleepy artist, boom. The runny eyeshadow indicates that she's disorganized, erratic, and perhaps a bit emotional.
Just look at those eyes. They are beautifully somber. Riddled with fatigue and dread. Yet, they hold a sort of elegance you would expect from an artist who still appreciates beauty.
The Flinty Apostle: I. love. rendering. Sue's wraps. Bandages ARE SOO FUN. They take a while to render but I enjoy the process so it's worth it! I also thoroughly enjoy rendering her metal armor. I'm thinking about changing the design of it though. Just to give her a fresher look! I have plans in the making to revamp her slightly. Stay tuned for that.
Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?
A) Why are you excited about this character?
(For Jane?)
Thank you for the questions!
Jane is a messy girl, so I'd say no haha! She's too spontaneous for things like that, and will most likely forget she even made a schedule or a list. But, I do think she has a little habit of constantly repeating the name of whomever she's talking to, especially if its someone she's just met. I think that's her way of remembering people's names. It's also oddly intimate the way she keeps saying their name in every sentence she makes. It makes people wonder if she's interested in them sometimes LOL.
A) I answered this in a previous post but not to worry I can copy and paste!
I get super excited about Jane because I genuinely just love the story and design I made for her! Her story just has so much suspense and I adore the horror elements associated with her character. Even I, as her creator, don't know where the story will lead because there's so many possible avenues I can take with her, whether she literally ends up forever consumed by the Correspondence or she succeeds her mission but as a changed person. I'm leaving her mostly open-ended in terms of how her story will end. That way, all possible endings hold weight and it just makes me feel sooo inspired. And in all honesty, I dont want her story to end. I'm gonna keep making her lore until I can't no more lmao
Throwing questions 18, 29, and 41 for both Jane and Sue ποΈ and also A & B for you!!
Thank you for the questions! This is pretty lengthy so see below the cut ^^
18. What embarrasses them?
Jane- If someone ends up misunderstanding/misinterpreting an art piece she made. She will begin to second guess the piece and overthink what did she do wrong for the person to misinterpret her artwork. Classic artist struggles. Another thingβ¦Imagine if someone looked at your art and it literally killed them. Now imagine that but it's a crowd, and it literally ruined your entire reputation. Now that's pretty embarrassing, if not traumatic. Don't ever mention that day to her.
Sue- She swears nothing embarrasses her. But in all honesty, I believe she's a bit insecure about her appearance under the wraps. She'd be embarrassed, and especially furious if someone got to see what's beneath them. She believes the devil stripped away her humanity as a way to make her falter. But really, that's just her way of saying she got herself into fights she couldn't win. Losing fights are embarrassing for her aswell. The boatman is probably tired of hearing her crash out.
29.Β Do they usually live up to their own ideals?
Jane- She is always striving to become more than what she is. She does have high expectations for herself, and is prone to becoming deeply unsatisfied when something turns out the way she hadn't hoped. So usually no, Jane doesn't live up to her own ideals. She aches to learn, however. This would be great if she were learning ANYTHING else. But no, her heart is set on the Correspondence. Tragically. She's sort of stuck in this endless cycle of trial and error with the Correspondence, and it's eating her mind away bit by bit. She will never be satisfied until she successfully recreates her Magnum Opus and proves herself useful to the Bazaar. That is to say, if she's willing to burn all bridges (metaphorically and literally) for the sake of art. (also when i mean metaphorically, i dont mean it as in she cuts people off, but rather people cut her off because she's resistant to be saved.)
Sue- Quite the opposite of Jane, I think Sue is proud of herself. Delusionally, of course. She's hardly the best fighter in London, but that doesn't stop her from thinking she's tough shit. She's only perfectly happy with herself because she truly believes she's supposed to serve a greater purpose - so she walks and acts like it. She is the story of a fool stuck inside her own echo chamber of praise. It's her greatest strength and weakness. During the occasional moments where she does feel unsatisified with herself, she goes out to make a statement (its usually killing some beasts) to make herself feel powerful again. Overall, she does live up to her ideals, but she constantly must maintain a presence in the eyes of others aswell. Otherwise, all of her achievements are for nothing.
41. How do they feel about children?
Jane- She doesn't have a strong opinion for children one way or the other. She is generally kind towards them of course, and is able to soften her voice for them. The problem is, younger children cry looking at herβ¦The sigils on her face, I mean. I think Jane has concluded that her art (sigils are also referred to as her art even if she didn't create those sigils) isn't suitable for children, so she tends to avoid them. But if she could explain in her own words, "Only brilliant minds can appreciate what I mean to envision. Children have yet to acquire that sort of brilliance."
Sue- She is your classic Think of the children! type of person. Overtly protective of children, especially the orphans. Thing is, most children are scared of her and the orphans don't appreciate her. She has wagged her finger and scolded orphans for stealing stuff before like an overbearing mother. She believes she's teaching them valuable lessons, but she's simply out of touch.
A) Why are you excited about this character?
Jane- I get super excited about Jane because I genuinely just love the story and design I made for her!
Sue- I love how scary and unsettling she is!!!! I'm still developing her lore, and I have plans to give her a new sideplot where she becomes this small cult-leader to followers who actually believe in her bullshit. This just sounds so badass and gives her a new level of danger as a character.
B) What inspired you to create them?
Jane- There's 2 characters from League of Legends that greatly inspired her lore and overall character. Yes, I play LoL because I have no life. To put it briefly: one of them is a brooding artist, the other a serial killer who sees artistic expression in murder. You can see how I mixed the two into an amalgamation of my own. I almost feel guilty because I don't want her to be too similar to her inspirations, but I've tried to modify many aspects the best I can. I am quite proud of how well I integrated her inspirations without being a total copy.
Sue- Sue was originally based off of another OC I have from my original universe. This OC is a strong and righteous knight who serves to protect her people with great elegance and agility. Sue slowly evolved into her own unique character with her own traits that aren't original to her inspiration. Now, she's anything but elegant and agile. Sue is a cruel and reckless person driven by religion while her main inspiration is so much more nicer than this.
7) What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?
2) How easy is it for your character to laugh?
both for the pyro-maestro!
Thank you for the questions!
7. Perhaps the Maestro seeing her old muses would definitely trigger a sense of nostalgia, back when she wasn't addled by the Correspondence. Not that she sees it that way - the Correspondence is her passion. But, seeing old faces that she used to paint would make her wish for simpler days where people praised her skill rather than avoided her. I think she finds this kind of nostalgia bittersweet. She doesn't try ruminate on it too much.
2. Jane can laugh for sure, usually just small chuckles. She's typically not an energetic or loud person, and she finds that being too loud is impolite. Which is funny, considering she's fine with imploding her studio, in which can be loud obviously. But when outside of her home or studio, she remains relatively kind and quiet. She will laugh if you say something funny just to be polite. She's not really hard to please, and will go along with whatever someone is saying.
