"GODDESS child, GODDESS. And it was fine. Apparently I found one of my old sisters and she plans to reassert our positions as supreme masters, personifications, and practitioners of pain and strife on this earth. And we have a new place to live."

Hendricks quickly does a hit-and-run style jump kick, disappearing as quickly as he had manifested.

"Yeah, not bad. Could probably use a bit more skill in the ‘blowing stuff up department’, but eh, we all got our strengths." Smith gave Blinkie a heavy pat on the back and shouted over to Jason. “Jay! Can you click your heels and hitch us a ride home-bound? Promised Grey a few drinks on me and a tour around the bunker."
"In a s-sec!" he called back, jabbing Hendricks in the shoulder with a syringe. As he finished, he stood up and dusted himself off. Snapping his fingers twice, he pointed at an empty space in the middle of the motel lobby and ordered a circular emblem to manifest.
"Bridge to anywhere. Hell yeah." Smith gave a nod of approval and stepped into the glowing circle. “Let’s ride Grey. First time’s the worst, so hold on to your stomach an try not to lose your lunch."
Blinkie stared down at the glowing portal to who-knows-where with trepidation. Previous experience with magic and any of Smith's friends giving her pause. She'd never teleported before, well, at least, not to anywhere that wasn't hell. But...she supposed, if she was with Smith it would be alright. After a few more moments of staring uncertainly at the circle to gather her nerve, Blinkie timidly inched her way in.

"Straight up. Except it ain’t the whole ‘pick a card’ deal you’re probably use to. Rick tried it once. Set himself on fire and exploded. Only hurt is pride and singed his hair. Didn’t stop it from being hilarious. Dude doesn’t like to talk about it, but that’s why me and everybody who cares still got video of the joint stashed in my helm. It’s a riot! Yeah, but long story short: shazam, baby."
Overhearing his name, Jason turned and waved nervously, focused more on tending to the bruises and bloodloss Smith’s berserking resulted in.
"Dude’s and ace with bandages, not that I ever need em."
"Wow..." she muttered, quickly impressed, though that didn't stop her from recoiling slightly when he looked over at them, very hesitantly waving back.

"Jay? Jays’ uh… Jay’s Jay. I mean, ya know, the dude with the goggles. Jason." Smith pointed to the care taker of his beaten allies, the boy who was busy bandaging and healing both Hendricks and Stanton from a gruesome confrontation. “That dude. Popped in like a flash of lightning, can pop us back out. Ya dig?"
"You mean like magic?"

Smith patted Blinkie on the head and waved a hand out to the endless frontier outside the motel. "Nah, check it. We roll out the same way we blitzed in, riding Jay’s coattails. Then, we take a break in the cafeteria, bribe the bartender on duty, sneak some food, catch a flick, call it a night, then head off to God knows where and do it again the next day. It’s a plan if it’s plan, unless it isn’t. Ya feelin me? We can ditch the two soft-serve losers in our dust and paint the city nine different shades of red."
Smith's rant lost Blinkie midway through as she tried to keep up with him in her dazed state. "O...kay, then. Um, who's...Jay?"
