"Is it me that's broken, or is it the rose tinted glasses you're looking at me through?" I read that May was Mental Health awareness month so this seemed relevant. I've learned that there are different people who react to knowing you have a mental illness. There are those who understand, those who don't but try to and those to whom you are no longer useful. It was the latter group that inspired me to start this image - because those people tend to send me into a spiral of self loathing. This image was initially going to be someone punching a mirror but then as I worked on it I got to thinking... am I in the wrong or are they? So this shifted to the quote at the top. :) Art is awesome therapy!!

Hi! What brush settings do you use on PS to paint? I love your style!

Thanks very much! :D I tend to use bogstandard PS Brushes either the hard round one, a bristle one or a chalky one and with all of them I make sure the "transfer" settings are checked and set to Pen Pressure :)

So apparently @cowgirlem is now into Steven Universe, you know what thaaaat means. I couldn’t get Tigers Eye out of my head as a Gem for her. And she makes methink of two things .. cowboys and frogs. So here’s a Gem that has frog long legs and likes to dress as a cowboy. Also their weapon is their spurs. Why not?

I drew this for the lovely @drazzi and her Knight  @creatoremagico I’d been meaning to draw something for these two for ages <3 What started off as a warmup sketch as a face, turned into me thinking “It kinda looks like Rose Quartz” which made me want to finish it and give it to Drazzi & Ku :) Love you guys!! <3

What tools in MS do you primarily use when digital painting? Thanks!

I only tend to do my sketching or inking in MS, I do all my painting in photoshop with just some of the default brushes :D I make sure the transfer option has both opacity and shape set to pen pressure and away I go! :D

I'm trying to find my way with some screen recording software ;D it is something I would like to do! :)

Sorry for the question spam! Feeling chatty and artsy! Do you tend to draw more traditionally (then scan into MS4EX) or draw entirely digital?

I used to scan in but these days I prefer to draw straight on Manga Studio - I find the pencil and G pen really nice to work with! :D No apology required! Always happy to answer questions! :D

I think you're so good at drawing clothing folds! Did/do you typically have references while drawing them?

Thanks very much! :) I used to use a lot of references but don't so much these days. I probably should use more to be honest but I do rather enjoy material folds! ^_^
