Could you make a traits thing like you did for Floyd, but for JD?
My Thoughts on John Dory 🎤
Ohhh JD… where do I even start with this guy? He’s loud, he’s dramatic, he’s chaos, but he’s also so much heart.
He's a little goofy, but under all that 'look-at-me' energy is a Troll who’s just desperate to hold things together. The performer, the big brother, the glue. He’s the one who’ll shout loudest, not because he wants attention, but because he’s terrified of silence.
So, here’s how I’d scale him (1 = struggles / 10 = peak JD mode):
Motivation ( 10/10) – Unstoppable. Once he’s set his heart on something, there’s no off switch. His drive is his superpower
Charisma (9.5/10) – He’s the showman. The sparkle, the energy, the big smile. You can’t ignore him
Confidence (9/10) – He could walk into a room, trip over a cable, and still make it look like part of the act. He owns his space, even when he’s faking it a little
Humor (8/10) – Playful, teasing, occasionally obnoxious, but always coming from love. He thrives on laughter. It’s his way of keeping the people he cares about close
Intelligence (7/10) – Smart in a 'learn it on the road' kind of way. He can plan and improvise like a champ, but feelings? Emotional nuance? Eh… not always his strong suit
Social Skills (7/10) – Charismatic and magnetic, but also a little too loud sometimes. He connects fast, but can push people away just as easily when he gets tunnel vision
Happiness (6/10) – He acts confident and carefree, but you can feel the weight underneath. The guilt, the loneliness, the 'what ifs.' He hides pain behind energy, a classic performer move
Empathy (5/10) – He loves deeply, but doesn’t always listen. He wants to fix things, not sit with them, and that can make him miss what others really need
Patience (3/10) – Oh, absolutely not. He’s quick-tempered, impulsive, and gets frustrated when others don’t move at his speed. He’s rhythm without rest
🎤 About His Personality 🎤
JD is what happens when passion becomes a person. Everything about him is turned up. The laughter, the volume, the love. He’s that friend who crashes into your life like a marching band and then leaves it quieter when he’s gone. Underneath the sparkle, though, is someone terrified of losing the people he loves.
He wants to be the leader because it feels safer if he’s in control. If he keeps the beat, maybe nothing will fall apart again. But his biggest lesson, and what makes him so human (well, Trollish), is learning that love isn’t about leading: it’s about listening.
When JD finally slows down, when he lets himself feel instead of perform, you can see the softest parts of him: the big brother who just wanted his family back, the dreamer who still believes the next song can fix everything.
