Yesterday on my way to work, someone had tagged some buildings that had the writings.. “Be The Peace.” I saw it the first time and read it. I saw it a second time and then I was like, aight universe what are you doing? My brain had a party and I began to break down the words. Here I go… BE as described by the Oxford Dictionary meaning to exist, to occur or take place. It is however, a verb which is used to describe an action, state or occurrence. The next word, THE which is used to point forward to a qualifying or defining clause or phrase or in this instance word. Finally, PEACE which is freedom from disturbance, tranquility. It is a concept of harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. So how do we “Be The Peace” in a world filled with violence, with hostility, with uncertainty. I am so glad you asked, we be the peace by merely existing and finding freedom from those things that aren’t peaceful and that is whatever peace looks like to you. We find pockets of our day to invite it, we go in the bathroom and as I would say “to hear my ears”, we sit in our cars right before we go in the house after a long day of work, we take a breath in from our bellies and breathe out our nose while closing our eyes that’s peace. Maybe just maybe that will encourage others to do the same. Say it. Be the peace. Chase it. Love it. Embrace it. Maybe our lives would be that much better if we focus on the fact that our essence that our existence can “Be The Peace” but we must be it for ourselves before we can be it for others. Be The Peace. Be the Peace. Be The Peace. ☮️✌🏾🕊
Maybe It Isn’t Boredom After All
The other day, my cousin and I were talking, and somehow the conversation landed on boredom.
We laughed about it at first, but then he said something that surprised and created thought within me.
“I don’t think it’s boredom anymore. I think it’s peace.”
The more I sat with those words, the more they felt true.
There was a time in my life when I measured my days by how busy they were. If my phone wasn’t ringing, if nobody was calling my name, if I didn’t have somewhere to be or someone who needed me, I felt restless. I thought I was missing out on something.
Now?
I look at those same moments differently.
A slow morning.
The phone sitting on the table without a single notification.
No one asking me for anything.
Coffee in my favorite mug, that reads “Let that shit go.”
A chance to simply sit and breathe.
That doesn’t feel boring anymore.
It feels like a gift.
I wonder if we’ve gotten so used to constant noise that we’ve forgotten what peace actually sounds like. Maybe we’ve become so accustomed to living in survival mode that when life finally gets quiet, we mistake it for emptiness.
But what if it isn’t empty at all?
What if God meets us there?
Not in the rush.
Not in the endless scrolling.
Not in always having somewhere to be.
But in the sacred pause.
I’ve noticed that I hear God differently when everything else gets quiet. Not because He’s speaking louder, but because I’m finally listening.
These days, I don’t panic when my phone doesn’t ring.
I don’t feel the need to fill every quiet moment with distractions.
I’m learning that not every season has to be loud to be meaningful.
Sometimes the blessing is that nothing is happening.
Sometimes answered prayers look like peace instead of excitement.
Maybe growing spiritually isn’t always about doing more.
Maybe it’s about becoming comfortable enough with yourself—and with God—that silence no longer feels lonely.
So if your morning is slow…
If no one is calling your name…
If your phone has been quiet all day…
Before you call it boredom, ask yourself another question.
Could this be the peace you’ve been praying for all along?

...And now...after last nights worry. Last nights stress. I hope you woke up today much more reassured. Much more ready to tackle the day. Much more able to feel ok in your mind and body. Much more able to cry and release it into the Universe and not hold it in. Much more able to accept what Spirit is doing... good, bad or indifferent. Much more able to breathe and not clench your teeth at the thought of the pressures that this day may bring. I’m rooting for you. Today is a new day. Don’t bring yesterday’s worry into it. Be guided by Spirit. Be reminded that Spirit is with you in this day...forever and always.

May you experience the kind of love that makes your nervous system relax.
..changing the phrase “Let it go,”To “Let it Be” is self care. It’s self care because it causes our minds to recognize how hard it is to let it go but reinforces us to form healthy relationships with what’s bothering us.
Be careful with the woman who has no friends or a small circle. She’s not lonely. She’s selective.
She has learned the hard way that not everyone deserves access to her energy, her heart, or her life. She doesn’t collect people to fill silence or soothe insecurity. She values peace over popularity and depth over numbers. Her circle is small because her standards are high, and she refuses to entertain fake connections, forced bonds, or surface-level loyalty.
She’s the woman who watched, observed, and paid attention. She saw how people switch up, how intentions don’t always match words, and how being surrounded by many can still feel empty. So she chose quality. She chose safety. She chose herself.
She knows who she is when no one is watching. She’s comfortable standing alone, making her own decisions, and walking away from what doesn’t align. That kind of woman isn’t isolated—she’s protected. And if she lets you in, understand it’s not by accident. It’s because you’ve earned a place in a life she guards carefully.
Our bodies which is a shell holds our soul, our consciousness is how our brain interact, interpret and respond to life situations. We learn through consciousness to keep living, keep striving. Our souls are always trying to find love. God, the supreme being is it. Love. In order to develop a higher understanding of love you simply cannot do this without consciousness. There is no evolving without love...consciousness...awareness of God.
❄️❄️December Affirmations ⛄️⛄️
This month, I turn inwards. I release the rigid expectations i’ve placed on myself and move without restraint. I allow myself the rest that is needed to recenter myself. I look back on my accomplishments with pride. I release all that has held me back. I look forward to the new endeavors I will succeed in. I release all doubts that cloud my mind. Throughout, I will remain grounded in the present moment, allowing myself to feel deeply, to speak freely, to think clearly.
Amen and Asè
