“But most humans are good, right? I know some are bad, but… I don’t want anyone innocent getting hurt, poyo. I just want everyone to have good dreams and be safe from anyone bad. Planet Popstar has a big bad thing happening every once in a while, but things must happen more often on Earth..!”
“It depends on who you ask. I’m wary of most Humans, so I can’t answer that question for you. I guess they are, but its my job regardless to protect Humans whether or not they’re good or bad, the same goes with robotics.”
She twirled a finger in her hair, thinking very carefully about what she wanted to ask it, what she wanted to say to Zero. “Zero… I… I take back what I said. About it being a favor, j-just… hear me out, alright?”
“When I woke you up that day… I forced you into awakening, w… with Passy,” she said the name quietly. “I… I just, I was wondering, maybe when this is all over, you could let me try to restore your memories?”
She stared at the ceiling for a moment, before turning back to Zero.
“You are more than a legend, Zero. A legend didn’t save me from a Golem that day. A legend didn’t save this Resistance from the brink of destruction. Defeat my wayward creation… a legend is something you read about, unsure if it exists, to inspire hope. You are hope, and you deserve to be able to live within it.
“Everyone has a place in the world, that’s what I belief. If something like me can have a place in the world, so can you,” she didn’t even catch what she referred to herself as. “You are Zero. Not some nameless legend. You’re our greatest ally, one of the most wonderful Reploids I’ve ever met. You’re not a tool, you’re not something that doesn’t deserve peace, you’re… you’re Zero. And that’s why… I want to know you better, you know? I can’t really say I’ve had many friends… and… I want to know more about you. And… I wish you could remember yourself. Even if you were exactly the same as you are right now, I’d like to know that for a fact, but…”
“… You are you, and I can’t do anything to change that. Forget everything I said about a favor, it’s just… something I would like to do with you. Not as your commander, not as a scientist, but somebody who cares about you: I’d like to properly recover your old memories. And let you do as you will. Maybe you’ll feel different if your old memories will return to you, maybe not, but… it’s all up to you. Unless you’re on the battlefield, I’ll never force you to do anything, Zero… maybe not even,” she gave a bitter chuckle. “I’m really not that great of a commander, huh? You could fail every mission, and I think I’d still forgive you every time…”
“… Do as you will, Zero. But, I’d like to help you remember what you were once like. But even if you don’t, you are still Zero, and you are still precious. And if you want to disappear into history once more like a legend…”
“… Then go in peace, and do as you will, Zero.”
It listened to her words. The favor turned to something more it suspected and a solemn nod of its head was made to motion for Ciel to continue. It wasn’t till the mere mention of memories and having them return to its fragile mind made the Reploid internally tremble. Those THINGS that always prodded at it, whispering their cruel words in unknown tongue whilst the Reploid laid awake staring out to the unforgiving desert. No, it couldn’t allow those terrible parasites return to it in full, those things that crawled all around it as it tried to create a better future whispering doubts in its mind like the snake to Eve.
“I don’t want to remember.”
It only caused more pain and suffering to it, those weights that have been lifted from it would all come crashing down crushing its lack of spirit leaving but the already present husk it was. But it still listened to her while pondering of those memories that may return to it if it did allow Ciel to tinker with its mind. Truth be told, the Legend did not mind that the other opening it up even if there was an underlying FEAR that plucked at it every so oft. But the prospect of remembering something that shouldn’t be remembered, the prospect of finding out who exactly was that blurred flower that always was in its hand-- it feared that. It feared becoming more HUMAN, it feared becoming WHOLE. It feared itself.
Her words were kind, the speech given was meant to bid it well. She wanted to help, Zero knew this well, but it could not accept this hospitality. “A war machine has no place in this world. I...” it paused for a second. Lips remained open for a moment, closed, and a furrow of the brows were made. “... I am not so sure that I even exist....” Did it ever truly exist? It had a purpose, once long ago. It was to kill X, to kill its siblings and others but that purpose had changed throughout the years, and now as it reflected on the memories it could grasp it was not so sure of itself. Would it create a purpose for itself once those memories come to light? Would it ever have an IDENTITY to call its own that was not bestowed from another? “Ciel... I fear the past. All the memories that I do remember are painful, although people learn from their past.. I doubt mine will do good. Part of living as a Legend is to find myself in this desert. Maybe I might return one day.... if I ever find myself.”
“But I will think about your proposition. Perhaps I will change my mind, the future is unpredictable."

“Zero?! Wh-what does a higher-up hunter like yourself need from a rookie like… erm… heh… me?” The scout asks, looking up from polishing his Ride Chaser.
“Even if you are a rookie you’re still a Hunter.” Weight shifted towards one side, one hand upon his hip as eyes glanced across the bike then to the other. “I got a mission and need extra Hunters to help with it, its just an infiltration of a known Maverick hideout. I already got the O.K from your Commander.”
since there’s core talk on my dash zero’s main core is powered by nuclear energy (bassinium) but his other two cores are powered by solar to help regulate his main nuclear core since there’s just so much bassinium within him.
there’s actually a rather unhealthy amount of bassinium within zero and its actually really important that he doesn’t get too seriously injured because bassinium costs SO MUCH to make and because its just so deadly.
“My core is nuclear. My body isn’t built to run on nuclear energy. I’m sure you can put two and two together.”
“Have you ever thought about getting exchanged for a solar one? I know you don’t like medical facilities but its just a thought.”

Tis was naught Maverickism, nor was it an error in his system nor something that was most unnatural to Zero. Rather this was the most natural thing that was to place its unholy hand upon him. It was no anomaly to Zero, in fact the Reploid embraced this feeling that twirled round his body as if it were an old friend. Memories were still present, he acknowledged those that stood before him yet the look in his eyes, that glimmer that always spoke trillions of words even with a mere glance spoke only one-- Death. Those galaxies that twirled within those orbs had been destroyed with the red that consumed those eyes. Sickly purple and pink fluttered round his body like a cloak made of midst, the saber in his hand flicked on with its pale green.
Those memories persisted, but Zero knew but one thing and that was death. The one that cowered before him was a friend, he knew this, but although Alia was, she was in his way. Her voice reached to him, though her body quivered at this sight to behold her voice still sung like a soft tune like how he remembered it. They plucked like a harp and though it set Zero at ease he did not halt and the features upon his face had a flicker of change. The metaphorical heart set ‘within’ him twitched at the pain of losing that he remembered dear, but that was his past; now everything was in the present. She stood in his way to completing his only goal, she must be terminated.
“Zero, you’re stronger than this. Don’t you remember? Its me, Alia. Your friend.” “I don’t have friends anymore.”
He raised the saber up, her harmony filled voice quivering and turning into a plead as she braced herself. Why didn’t she run? Didn’t those that were faced with death always run? She looked at him, her eyes filled with sorrow and voice still pleading with those harmonious words as the light emitted from the saber pierced her body. It was quick, angled at just the right place to give her a painless death. Her words did not fall on depth ears, but he was still perplexed for he not knew why she acted in such a manner when faced with death.
The Reploid-- nay, Wilybot stared at her lifeless figure, eyes open and mouth just slightly open. Her music stopped, but Zero thought nothing of it. She had been his friend, a time not long ago she had been his friend. But that time seemed so far away, he was already beginning to forget.
More like Kirby becomes a Maverick hunter and EATS all the robots.
We finally found our Ultimate Weapon.
“Laws of… Robotics, poyo? I’ve never heard of it. Any robotic baddies I’ve fought were made to destroy, apparently. Like Heavy Lobster- It was made to defend a ship called the Halberd. But that sounds horrible! Humans are usually nice! Robots might be able to do a little more, but…”
“The Laws of Robotics basically states that robots must serve Humans and not allow Humans to come to harm. The laws have changed slightly throughout the years. But its not always the robot’s fault. Sometimes its the Humans fault that there are Mavericks. It really depends on the season.”
