"Piattaforme per l'educazione" is the title of my thesis project at ISIA Urbino. It is about technologies for education and everyday i found myself tangled in totally new concepts, verbs, theories and acronyms. Porzione di azione didattica da cui partire e intorno alla quale sviluppare un percorso che mette in gioco conoscenze, capacità, attitudini e competenze. Hardware and software solutions that build up an e-learning system. These tools are used for various purposes, like course's managing and student's assistance during the whole teaching/learning process.

L'insieme degli strumenti hardware e software che compongono un sistema di e-learning. Molte sono le funzioni svolte dagli ILS, ad esempio la gestione dei corsi e l'assistenza agli allievi durante il percorso didattico.

LAVAGNA - INTERATTIVA - MULTIMEDIALE

New generation of whiteboards, on which you can directly project the lessons with your notebook. The surface is touch/multitouch, allowing a better interaction during the learning moments in school. Recently in Italy were funded project to "digitize" the school, one of these was aimed mainly on the acquisition of more LIM.

Nuova generazione di lavagna, su cui si proiettano le lezioni direttamente dal notebook. La superficie è touch/multitouch e permette dunque un'interazione maggiore durante i momenti dell'apprendimento a scuola. Negli ultimi anni in Italia sono stati finanziati dei progetti per "digitalizzare" la scuola, uno di questi puntava soprattutto sull'acquisizione di più LIM.

Online courses that allow users to freely attend lessons and it's designed to serve a big number of people that can access to contents only using Internet. An example is Khan Academy.

Corso online che nell'ambito della formazione a distanza viene erogato gratuitamente ed è pensato per un grande numero di utenti che accedono ai contenuti solo attraverso Internet. Un esempio è la Khan Academy.

LEARNING - MANAGEMENT - SYSTEMS

They're a kind of platforms that allow you to deliver e-learning courses online; LMS manage statistics and users, not contents. An example is Moodle.

Si tratta di piattaforme applicative che nell'ambito dell'e-learning permettono di erogare corsi online; gestiscono gli utenti e le statistiche, non i contenuti. Un esempio di LMS è Moodle
