I got the golden opportunity to fly to America and visit ArenaNet and meet with some devs, and attend the 2016 Community Party, and it was all amazing they were incredibly friendly people, I'm so glad I got to do this and thank you for everything anet!

I am back on tumblr after a break of about 200 years I never quit gw2 but real life got hectic as but it has settled down and i want to post cool pictures again and make friends so hello

Fuck secret elitist groups

I tried to join a group for Twilight Arbor up+forward, so I join one with the description “up+forward” and as soon as I get in they demand I switch to a Warrior, literally two seconds later, no way could I respond that fast, they initiated a group kick and succeeded.

I whispered the guy who initiated the kick and told him I can switch to Warrior if he really wants me to and I get invited back. As soon as I load in however I’m being told what weapons I can use and what skills I can’t use. I left the group

I don’t mind that these groups exist, that’s fine, I don’t mind people doing what they find fun, but at least advertise that that is what the group is. I thought we were just doing the dungeons, like advertised? Rant over I guess.

The dark moon shield was previously a PvP exclusive skin (not confirmed just never found in PvE yet) so with PvP reward boxes going the way of the dodo, we gotta wait for ANet to put it somewhere else, like the Tribal armour.
