Aurora is genuinely shy around the person that she likes, she would blush and it’s hard to hide the fact that she’s always going to be flustered around that specific person. She’ll tuck her hair behind her ears nervously, get all sorts of butterflies, and wouldn’t know what to say just because this feeling scares her and is still unfamiliar to her. She’ll toss and turn in her sleep thinking about them. But she’s going to be speechless a lot because of her quiet personality. She’s awkward around the person she likes.

Aurora is scared of love, very much so. She has her heartbroken and a handful of experiences being rejected by people she’s genuinely liked/fallen for. She isn’t keen on what love is as her lack of experience. She fears to be in love and falling in love unless someone can sweep her off her feet and prove her wrong. Witnessing the failed marriage of her mother and her affairs, she chooses to not get herself involved with just anyone romantically (gathered, there is an exception to one). Being in an environment with a toxic father and mother, she yearns to be nothing like them. In the end, she has to get over her fears as she realises that love isn’t all bad. That meaning, true love isn’t bad.

Aurora’s preference for an ideal date is somewhere in nature, among the beautiful green sceneries and animals that surround the trees and plants. An area where it’s a secluded off from too many muggle or wizard interactions. This might be a whack idea but she also likes something as simple as a food date!

“aurora!” ethan scurries over with a small gift bag, careful to not shake the contents inside. “it’s been awhile, but i’ll never miss a chance to wish you happy birthday.” he laughs a bit shyly to himself, before propping the bag down to reach inside, “i bought you this.” it’s a rose gold moonstone necklace, and he carefully slips it around her neck with the attached lock. beautiful, he thinks, while gazing down at her with a fond smile. he quickly pecks her forehead and hands her the gift bag, a mixture of various snacks, a card and a plushie that often reminded him of her puppies. “happy birthday.”

“Ethan!” When he comes over, there’s never a frown on her face. The same smile, fawning over the Gryffindor. With exams coming up and everything taking place, there’s so little time in the world. But that isn’t an excuse for her, she loves to see her dear friends. Especially, Ethan. “Thank you so much!” She clasps her hands together in excitement, chocolate orbs eyeing down at his hands to see a beautiful gift. “Is this for me..?” The tint of flushing pink cheeks overwhelms her, she’s warming up already as she stands there still, trying her hardest not to stare at his features. He’s so close to her, Aurora closes her eyes to find her center. “Thank you, Ethan! Thank you, thank you!” He didn’t forget. She’s extremely thankful that she isn’t mopping somewhere alone in her room, that she has someone by her side on a special day where it actually means something to someone.

She takes the gifts in her hand, hugging it close to her heart. “I’ll treasure it always. But your presence here is the best gift of all.” Ever since she’s met Ethan, he’s been there for her throughout every birthday of her’s. “Words aren’t enough to express my gratitude for how much I appreciate your being.”

☕ : Does your muse prefer coffee or tea?

Aurora’s stomach doesn’t digest coffee too well. It makes her feel uncomfortable. She has a fast metabolism and it just makes her.. run to the toilet a lot. She wouldn’t have that for sure. Instead, she prefers tea. Her favourite tea is chamomile tea and green tea. Green tea, she drinks every day but she uses chamomille tea to treat her insomnia because she can’t sleep at night. It helps her sleep well and not feel groggy in the mornings.

⚠ : How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?

She plans out her actions first before taking initiatives. Truth to be told, Aurora likes to think of everything before coming up with a final case. She wouldn’t face it head out, she would think of the consequences that happen first before anything. Really, she’s just doing her best to protect herself from harm but there’s usually not much she can do because she’s always been a victim of it. Because of how nervous she usually gets, she feels like most situations are dangerous. She avoids getting too close to anyone because of this feeling.

👓 : If your muse wears glasses, what are their glasses frames like?

A fun fact is that Aurora does indeed wear glasses! Her glasses frames are actually big for her face. They’re rounded and kind of like emphasis her eyes. She has contacts but she prefers not to wear them as they’re difficult to put on on the mornings. She doesn’t have the energy to do so. So she opts to wear glasses because she feels like they’re easier to maintain.

She much prefers texting because she doesn’t like the sound of her voice. She thinks her voice is annoying.

Aurora thinks they’re not suited for her because she feels like she isn’t pretty enough. She thinks that she’ll make it look worse with her appearance. Because of her low-self confidence, she doesn’t give it took much effort musing about how she looks like. It’ll just make her feel worse but with the right amount of compliments, she can turn to a better point of view and believe anyone who can convince her that she isn’t actually hideous as she believes herself to be.

Aurora is and isn’t afraid of being alone. She’s come from a background where she’s been taught that survival is important but she feels like if she’s on her own case, then she doesn’t have to think of others worrying for her. If she were to have a lot of friends, in which she doesn’t expect herself to make usually, she prefers having a few close ones than being out in the crowd. Aurora likes her solitude, she finds peace in that. Surprisingly, this girl has anxiety talking to strangers. She finds it easier to not deal with people in general.
