Hell maybe things actually get worse in the long run. Why glorify a reality that doesn't exist when I can take a look at my current reality and appreciate how beautiful my world is right now.

Lately I've been thinking about how much I want plushies of common household appliances. I want a microwave plush that can open and close. A cardboard box plush with flaps and everything. A bed plush with a frame and a mattress that can be taken apart with pillows and blankets of course. Oooo an air fryer plush. Not to scale appliances just mid size ones. I think that would be neat.

as a species that hunts whales as a resource is it ethical to communicate with whales once we decipher their language? should we tell them about the near extinction of whale culture in its entirely and/or the permanent loss of countless rare whale dialects? will it bring comfort to the lonesome whale, the last speaker of its dialect, singing into the ocean with no reply back?

Isn't it really cool that your brain lets you live in an imaginary world every night? It just shows you a different reality from your own for a few hours without prompt (unless you're like an expert dreamer I guess). I'd like to imagine the brain does that for the silliest of purposes. Or the evilest of purposes. Whatever the vibes are.

The image I see in the mirror is different every time I look. Sometimes they don't feel like me and sometimes they do. But if it isn't me, who else can it be? Emotions are awesome. I mean wow the brain allows me to feel a certain way about things and not just be an empty husk. Emotions are never right or wrong, just the interpretation of said emotion. I've definitely spent years misunderstanding certain feelings and emotions then one day it's just wow so THIS might explain things better. Who knows there might be more to it, but that's ok, we'll figure it out someday. But ya emotions and feelings are pretty cool. Even the bad ones. Those help you appreciate the good ones.
