Hey.

I've been gone from this account for a while. That's mostly due to the fact that I've been enjoying other passions, that being Steven Universe and Rainworld.

This doesn't mean that Blacksommar is dead, no! Not at all, I still work on it from time to time! But going into the Steven Universe space, making new friends, and very much not to humble brag, but blowing up on other accounts made me realise something.

I love Blacksommar. I do. I consider it a sort of biography, in a way. But I've spent years pouring heart and soul into it with a few asks here and there, and it wasn't enough to keep me going. I had to balance the 'me' I was putting into it, and what I felt other people wanted/expected out of the project, and since I generally draw less these days, I realised I couldn't keep up with it.

Blacksommar is actually undergoing a massive overhaul, currently, and I've batted around the idea of books and a proper webseries, but it requires a lot of time and energy of which I'll have to assign so I don't burnout. It's going to be a while since then.

I've also been using Rainworld as a game, a model for psychological tomfoolery, and an art piece. A few days ago, I received a lot of closure for an old wound in game that I thought I'd never get. The music really does move me. Have you ever heard of heart pets? Apply that to games. Rainworld is my heart game, I think.

Anyways, all of this is to say this—I'm going to post a bit more, mostly Rainworld art, some misc. art, but Blacksommar will return via announcement.
