long rant below

So I’ve noticed the sun and moon show writing going down hill dramatically, and that’s saying a lot.

I’m usually very dense when it comes to these types of things(realizing writing and how good or bad it is), but I somehow noticed

I WILL NOT be leaving the fandom, I don’t plan to for a long time, I just wanted to tell you guys, I may not be as active about posting actual TSAMS content as much as au content

I understand it’s been alive for a long time, so it’ll get confusing and won’t be as consistent as it was, but there’s so much potential there just ignoring. The Titan arc specifically

he could’ve be SUCH A COOL VILLAIN! He could’ve been a long lasting one like eclipse! Or just some angst and seeing what bugs him. Overall, he SHOULD NOT have been killed that fast

I like TSAMS, I really do, I love the worldbuilding and characters they make, but how they deal with the characters, like the arcs and what happens, have dropped drastically

Carme dies due to the infection and his partner tries to kill moon because they blame him and moon just stays in his room and has no idea how to grieve so he just bed rots and sleeps all day and nobody knows how or if they should help :)

Explanation for it: they didn’t realize Carme had gotten bit, so they went back home and kinda forgot about it. Rust was the one to notice (Carme had tried to kill him) so in a moment of panic, rust locked him in a cell. They eventually had to kill him since they didn’t know the cure in the timeline. And yeah :)

I think a lot of people ignore moon and Cosmo’s relationship

specifically the fact that every time Cosmo leaves or something of the like, moon ALWAYS without fail reminds him that he’s “forever and always they’re little brother”. Even when he got kicked out, he still reminded him.

Rare opinion:

solar’s sun and moon were lowkey one of the healthiest pairs of sun and moons.

like yeah his moon sucks but he was practically ready to lay down his life for his sun

and his sun never expressed anything bad that his moon did. Like he NEVER said that he was hurt by him EVER

Overall, if his moon wasn’t so protective they would be an amazing duo
