Kevin had an unconscious reaction to it, so once, when Nicky happened to try the same cologne while shopping, Kevin stuck by his side all day, not leaving him for a second and staying exceptionally quiet. He showed Nicky everything he ate and kept brushing against his shoulder intentionally. Before every move, every word, every action, he always glanced at Nicky as if seeking permission. And when Nicky raised his hand to hug him, Kevin didn't flinch, but stood very still, ready for the blow.

It stopped after Nicky showered, and they all chose to ignore it. Until Andrew first met Riko, and the familiar scent triggered a strange memory.

Jean tries to follow Neil's thought process. He can't. Not even in his worst moments, in the throes of his teenage crush on Kevin, would he have ever considered doing something so crazy.

Then Neil pulls out another scrapbook.

Jean pinches the bridge of his nose.
