But for Rocky he would definitely be more manipulative and misleading like Ellie. I don't believe he'll be friendly like his OG counterpart is.

But he uses music/vibrations to communicate still. Able to mimic some human speech due to the amalgamation of other people connected to his body.

So like OG Simon, Rocky is able to manipulate Grace and drag him near the Arrogant God (which would be Adrian in this case)

You cannot say you support sex workers, if you don't support their right to a safe industry free of needless shame and shaming.

I think a lot of the issues with sex work are less about the act of purchasing/selling sex acts itself and more about the culture around sex and money.

If sex work occurs in a culture where there's a large wealth gap and a huge power imbalance between people who sell sex acts and people who purchase those sex acts, then bad things are more likely to happen.

If sex work occurs in a culture that doesn't protect sex workers, then bad things are more likely to happen.

If sex work occurs in a culture that doesn't protect workers in general, then bad things are more likely to happen. (Heck, I've seen plenty of interviews where sex workers said they went with sex work because it seemed like a better deal than a 'regular' job in terms of flexibility and liveable wages, and I find this very telling.)

The problem is, people see issues with capitalism and issues with classicism/misogyny/transmisogyny/racism/homophobia/religious dogma/anything else that marginalizes sex work (I haven't provided an exhaustive list) as being issues that are specific to sex work, when really sex work just makes those issues more noticeable because it often provides an intersection where those issues become compounded.

Anyway 'people buying sexual services is inherently bad' seems like a shitty meme because I'm sure it puts off a lot of people who'd otherwise be pretty good clients. If you scare ethical customers away from an entire industry by telling them said industry is completely Bad and Wrong across the board, then that increases the likelihood that the remaining customers will be ones who don't care if what they're doing is ethical or not.

Many people’s support for or opposition to sex workers is based on a view of them “tricking” their customers out of their money somehow. People don’t view it as a straightforward business transaction, but rather horny people being scammed. Pro-SWers see them as heroes for parting morally impure horny people from their money, and that’s how you get the pro-sex work but john-shaming position. In this view, SWers are bravely striking out at the world by stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, just like Robin Hood. And their customers don’t deserve sympathy or thought, they’re just rich perverts, right? Does a thief think about the houses they rob? Anti-SWers see them as either evil tricksters and vamps, or completely helpless and exploited. The ranting against Onlyfans girls is a lot more comprehensible when you view those women not as someone who is providing a product for a service, but seducing and robbing anyone who pays. The person who’s got “won’t buy content” in their header? They see it as a sign of moral and intellectual strength, and their attempts to finesse content are an attempt to turn the tables. 

Until sex work can be perceived with the same moral value as buying a sandwich, the Discourse will unfortunately continue

I've just about come to the conclusion that the reason a lot of analyses of Glass Onion are so desperate to invent a film where the painting that gets blown up in the final act is a fake is because they've internalised the idea that people who destroy art are Always Evil (No Exceptions), so their only options are a. to arrive at a reading of the film where Helen Brand is secretly the villain of the piece, or b. to construct a version of events where she never really destroys any art – and quite understandably, they opt for the second one!

Unfortunately, in constructing a scenario where Helen Brand never destroys any art, they're missing what the film is actually doing – namely, constructing a scenario in which it's morally justifiable to blow up the Mona Lisa.
