...and here we go again with another comic by Christopher Cook!
"My Buttercup Runneth Over" (MORE THAN HALF OF THE PAGES MISSING)
So from what I can gather, this is an original story from Cook. As far as I can tell, Buttercup almost "kills" her sisters, contemplates her worth as a Powerpuff, and it's Blossom and Bubbles' duty to clear it all up.
Issue is... half of the pages are gone. Pages 3, 8, and 10 onwards were just not archived. Don't know where else to look for, at least it doesn't seem like I was the first to come across this.
I'll leave this post up cuz I still think this is worth seeing.
PS, there's minimal illustrated blood in Page 3, unsure if worthy of a trigger warning but I'll still warn of it just in case.
Below is Pages 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9. Would have been 17 pages if everything was saved.
it actually sucks to use tumblr on mobile i realize
I CAN'T EDIT COMMENTS??? HELP

"Lost" PPGWorld animation?
So this tweet showed up the other day about an old fansite called PPGWorld.
I remember finding out about this fansite when looking at the Powerpuff Girls FANDOM wiki, it said something about EG Daily doing voicework for this site.
Searching through the archives of this long defunct site, I found this in its FAQ page:
So it is true, EG did in fact voice something fandom-related. Specifically the welcome animation for PPGWorld.
But I looked through the archives and I couldn't really find much of substance.
I wonder if it's possible to recover this lost animation? Would searching more thoroughly be of any use? Do I have to directly ask Psychoprog (the then-webmaster of this site)? I wonder...
This is the tweet in question BTW:
no buttercup, it is forbidden
you don't get context for this one lol, sorry!
background is from the episode Live and Let Dynamo
"No Time For Bed"
A short featuring the Powerpuff Girls fighting crime during what would've been their bedtime. They are visibly tired and use different methods to make one another stay awake.
Unfortunately it seems only the audioless version is available.
Is it just me or did anyone else see the finished product? I swear I saw it on YouTube way before, so why is it gone now? Is it possible to recover the version with audio?
(This isn't an art post, but I feel like this deserves a bit of recognition, considering who did the illustrations for this.)
"The 'Puff No One Wanted"
This is a comic adaptation of a really old Powerpuff fanfic of the same name, with the OG fic written by "icekings". The story follows a neglected Buttercup plush, sitting alone on the back of the toy shelf.
This was illustrated by Christopher Cook, who worked on the original Powerpuff Girls DC comics (this is mainly why I wanted to share this).
Keep in mind this is like, REALLY old. Early 2000s old.
I thought I saw these a while back so I did some tiny searching just yesterday, and found a Geocities archive containing the colored pages. The same webpage also contained non-colorized versions, but it's missing Page 5 for some reason.
Honestly this comic is pretty good, and I'm surprised that it's done by one of the people who had official involvement with PPG too.
Below is all the colorized pages:
SOURCES
Colorized comic: https://www.oocities.org/icekings2000/onlinestories/PuffNoOneWanted1.html
OG fanfic: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/92593/1/The-Puff-No-One-Wanted
Not gonna add tags for this one, but here are Pages 1-4 without CG color. Source should be the same as the colorized version, I believe it is also under the "onlinestories" directory like above. Not the same HTML file though.
Again, Page 5 is missing, it refuses to load. Sorry... :PPPP
