In a world that values speed and instant gratification, I remind myself that to travel at a slow and steady pace is nothing short of admirable.

Hello friends! I designed a questionnaire for my Psych Testing course on public perceptions of mental illness, and I would greatly appreciate your participation! It should take ~10 minutes to complete, and your responses will be completely anonymous. The survey can be completed on a mobile device or your computer. You do have to be 18 to participate. Thank you ❤️

I get why a lot of people hate the whole princess culture aimed at little girls. There’s a hell of a lot of toxic bullshit in there.
But when I was a tiny princess, my dad used to be my royal advisor. He would come to me, and over tea we would discuss the problems of the kingdom. He would tell me that new people wanted to move to the kingdom, and ask me what we should do. Or he would tell me that the teddybears and the dolls were fighting over the enchanted forest, and ask me what to do. Basically, he took the trappings of the princess culture, and used it as a tool to teach me about leadership, civic responsibility, and compassion.
So if you have a little princess around, consider helping her figure out how to run her kingdom. There’s no sense in telling a kid they can’t be a leader, or that they can’t wear sparkles while they do it.

One of my good friends is an Atheist, and I'm a Christian. We're both aware of each others beliefs, and we've mostly just avoided the subject. We've had a few talks about my religion, and I've tried talking to him about it, but without being too pushy. I've usually don't think about it, but it's really been on my mind lately. I'm praying about it, and was wondering if you had any scripture/advise on how to share the Gospel with him? He's really firm in his beliefs and I'm worried about him.
1 corinthians 14:24-25,
Hello friend,
The atheist doesn’t need another debate or argument to help them see the kingdom. Every argument can be countered and if someone can be argued into the kingdom they can be argued out.
Look at the model that Paul gives is in the scripture above. It has nothing to do with persuasive words. The atheist needs an unmistakable encounter with the God he believes can’t exist. This only happens when God’s representatives are operating in a way that accurately displays who he is. To believe the impossible your friend needs to encounter the impossible.
Be blessed- Eriq

Really happy with the plate I painted.💖

Hey guys! I know I haven’t been here in a while but I’m planning to go on a mission trip to a very rural part of Alaska! I’ll be going to a camp to work with the Yupik teens and share the love of Christ with them! The cost of the trip is $2000 so if you feel led to donate please click this link. Even the smallest donation helps! These kids have been through so much! Also click the link if you would be willing to pray for this missions trip or know more about where we will be going. I posted a list of prayers and several websites that will give you more information. Thank you for your prayers!!
Help her share Christ’s with Alaska!!

When we discourage from safely expressing their anxiety, then we are essentially saying to them that anxiety is a bad emotion …. It communicates to them that perhaps something is wrong with their Christian faith.

For anyone wondering why we should be spreading awareness for Selective Mutism this is why:
I was talking with one of my teachers and said to him “Its Selective Mutism Awareness month.” He then said to me “I don’t even know what that is.” Neither did the other people we were with. I then…
October isn’t just for breast cancer awareness. It is simple awareness month. And as fun as Halloween is you have to remember that people are fighting. October is awareness for cancer. (Breast cancer is pink) It is awareness for domestic violence. (Purple) It is awareness for down syndrome....
