So earlier today I came upon this post in the Disney rp tag. I have been following them for awhile as one of my “If I potentially had time” rps to join. They answered an anon question about having a character with a disability (as in if they had written any of their bios to include individuals with disabilities) and it was followed up with the person asking if they could send in an application for a bio already written and give said character a disability. 

Instead of giving a clear yes or no answer, the rp stated that they could not give an answer unless the person came off anon. This struck me as weird and worrisome because to me, it seems that the rp would rather hide away talks about disabled representation. I sent an anon asking why they felt the need for it to be asked off anon. It was a simple question, meant with no harm, but I was merely curious about their reasoning. They answered the question (I sadly did not screencap it) with a paragraph about how i should “respect” their decision and “respect” that they want the conversation to be off anon without actually answering the question as to why it had to be off anon. 

Shortly after, they deleted both questions about characters with disabilities which just leads me to believe that they dont actually wish to openly talk or have characters with disabilities in their rp.

Hey, just casually sliding onto the post to say that I sent them an ask shortly before they got deleted about bring Carl from up and potentially making him physically disabled ( I didn't screencap it because I didn't think I needed to ). However, I did IM them about it just in case tumblr had glitched and here's a screenshot of that.

I also asked again if they would accept characters with disabilities, though I did ask on anonymous.

Though - Presley became popular in the late fifties.” And he could still remember how controversial the singer had been, the complaints of lack of dignity seeming to haunt him. “And you wouldn’t have been alone in your love for the Beatles - you could probably get Sheila from the beach on your side.”

It had taken Basil far too many years to learn to disguise himself to look taller - his ear still ached where a hunter had cut a piece of it off. And still after all this time, the illusion wasn’t physical - so when they glitter hit the actual top of his head, it looked as though it had passed through his body. “Did you really have to do that? The rainbow doesn’t clean everything y’know,” he grumbled, trying to shake the glitter off.

luna hansen - grusome ghost. love is the only thing that she had left when she died, and given that her self-professed soulmate died too, you would think they’d have moved on. and yet, they’re both still hanging around.
