This is so important for Haru, I can’t even begin to tell you.

Things in his life are changing a lot, he just suffered possibly the worst defeat of his life, his coach suggested he essentially starts over the development of his swimming style, he had a lot of drama in his life with Ikuya and Hiyori, the biggest competition he has ever been to is approaching

Everything is just fundamentally different

But in spite of all that uncertainty and these numerous changes, Rin just gives Haru this piece of certainty, this constant in his life:

“I still want to swim with you.”

It’s, I think, Rin’s way of saying “I will always be here with you, through it all, no matter what happens.”
