Another successful release of native wildilfe. Mum was hit by a car when she was brought into hospital she had eggs in her and laid them in hospital. Mum is still on the mend but due to be released. These little guys were in care and since it is nice and warm now it is spring and there is alot of larvae and insects in the water ...i had the privilege of caring and releasing these guys in the last 2 weeks. SO tiny..
This is an EASTERN WATER DRAGON, he was in care for over 2 months with me. On antibotics and initially was not thought to be able to feed...with TLC and patience..this little guy was released back into the wild. Always makes me heart sing when you have successfully rehabilitated native wildlife.

A throwback to when the caracal kittens at the Oregon Zoo turned 6 months!
Caracals are medium sized cats who live either alone or in pairs and are mostly nocturnal. They can be found from Africa to the Indian subcontinent. They feed on small mammals, birds and rodents. Sometimes they’re confused with the lynx because of the tufts on their ears.
