Yandere Platonic Unicorn Hybrid Family X Gender Neutral Child Reader Pt III
Summary: Chaos erupts into the Kingdom as an ambush from the unicorns warriors attack.
TW: Violence, Gore
==================================
-Deep into the Berel Kingdom, the capital is Tera. Here the Cross Guild, a group of renowned hunters clamor to grab new recruits. The brightest and most intelligent come here with a deep need to protect the next generation.
-The moon rays sliced the air, dying the building into a blinding white. In one of the windows, a group of men with drooping eyes and wilting quills stare at a professor. A man who is at his last straw with these fools.
-Thwack. A stick slaps onto a board, rough etched lines displaying a hybrid Unicorn. “Pay attention, class,”the professor snaps,”it’s important to know their attacks. Although daunting, they hide a lot of disadvantages.”
-Prying eyes reviewing the group of burlesque men, each adverting their eyes as if caught by a predator. His bony finger points at a bearded man in the far right,”You!,” ignoring the pitiful yelp,”What attack do they rely on the most?”
-Stuttering, the victim wringed his hands,”Ah–It’s–it’s their horn. They have gold armor that is laced with nightshade poison.”
-Ignoring the snickering, the professor quirked his eyebrow,”why don't they use their hands to attack?”
-Slumping, a pitiful silence told the professor his answer. “Tsk, this is why you are stuck in Remedial Class, Wil,”wagging the pointer stick at him,”It’s because hands help with healing. The horn and hand both need to be intact to transfer magic equally across the body.”
-Scoffing, “This is why you are stuck in remedial class, WIl. You never study the material because of your sloth-like attitude. I’m almost glad, your not in the Gold Cross Guild—”
-Suddenly, a blur tackled the professor into the wall leaving a plume of dust behind. Screaming, the class scrambled towards their weapons and backed into the corner eyes glued to the sizable hole on the wall where the intruder came from. The smell of iron flooded the room, a shadow stood up with the silhouette of the man floating in the air.
-Frozen, the smoke cleared showing a tall stallion with black coat, a mottled red mess dripping from the grotesque kebab. Shaking his head downward, the man slides with a thump, mouth agape. Staring defiantly, the stallion ran back out leaving a stunned class with the surprise gift.
-Chaos erupted as they broke back into reality, roaring. With swift feet, they chased after the beast.
-There they were met with a breathing nightmare. Another brown-freckled coat mare, laughing as she lit huts on fire. Farm animals flooded the streets of Berel Kingdom, shrieking as they destroyed the stalls in their way. The District was bleeding a sinister red as it cackled at the running citizens.
- A herd of stallions in gold armor, fighting guild members. The guild member dodged a charge from a stallion. A strong kick causing a scream to pierce the air. Seeing his moment, his axe crashed down in excitement. Sparks flew as his axe careens towards an armored horn that trembled with that force.
-Another guild member tries to intervene, but parries a determined blur of a mare. Careening into another stallion, they refocused their attacks with more vigor. Crimson painting a vicious painting on the ground.
-Filthy beasts, one shouted. Leave, they demanded, but the group only guffawed in mockery. The bloody dance continued for what seemed like an hour, adrenaline pumping through their bones as they wanted one reward–revenge. Buildings continue to darken with the abuse, the cacophony of slices heard throughout the night. Each crumbled building making the glimmer fade from the previously revered Kingdom.
-Behind the infrastructure, a guild member sends a raven with a request of help to the castle for reinforcement as it became too much.
-Thirty minutes, until they arrived. The joy of seeing the knights flood the street caused a blind eye to the herd. A twinkle in their eyes as every puzzle fell into place. Ears flicking, a loud horn verberated across the Square. With that, they unicorns fled with swift bursts of energy back into the forest.
-Confused by the retreat, they shakily proclaimed this as a victory and thanked the knights. The crowd started delegating a report to the royal guards, each splitting to find victims in the fire. A man picked up an injured woman and dragged her to a healer, his mind couldn’t get rid of a sinking feeling that something was wrong.
-Gathering a report, they noticed that the houses targeted were ones without children. Keeping it sanctioned in the district with couples or elderly. Is it a coincidence, did they have an inkling of mercy? Looking at the burned houses with injured parties, the accusation sank with low confidence.
-Back at the castle, the lack of guards created a vast opening. Maids with tired eyes walked around dismissing every shadow as an illusion. Thus, making it prime time for the picking. Obscured in the dark, untrained eyes could not see a group of shadows that tiptoed around the perimeters of the forest that surrounds the castle.
-The leader, face hidden by a cloak, failed to hide the tranquil smile that spread across her face. She leaned her tall body onto the tree, coils of muscles tensing with excitement as she gripped the plant.
“My Queen, we are ready on your leave,”an auburn mare whispered. Her tail flicked with tension.
-Soon, she whispered as she stared at the moon, wait for me, child. Turning to her group, she nods.

End Notes: No friendship business, cause this shii ain’t magic. Anyways, the tension is building. :P
Octotrio with a reader/yn who loves mermaids and gets turnes into one by accident by adeuce + grim during Crewels class (splash potion) that turns her(vould be gn) into a merfolk. Thing is... yn is now a octo mer, a red octo mer instead of the dreamy scaly tail of a fish. Yn is not at all disappointed. Mer is mer no matter the type of fish. Back on track, how do you think the octotrio would react to yn not being disappointed, and instead THRILLED of being a mermaid even if they're not yhe "prefered mer?" ex: red octo as mentioned previously, shark, angler fish
This took so long 🥹 please excuse the delay! It's a very cute idea though, like these three mafia wannabe losers are just a bunch of softies tbh. (When they want to be)
I'm also trying a new posting template! These songs are from the album Oyster by Chloe Moriondo! Pleaaaase, check her out! She's one of my recent favs! Love her lyrics!

"A Mer is a Mer,no matter the type of fish!"
Azul Ashengrotto
Oh. He didn't think it'd be so hard to keep himself from indulging in the fluttering sensation all over this body as he watched Yuu swam around in the makeshift pool they had managed to procure with the help of Kalim.
Something about the glimpses of her red tentacles amidst the water was so unfathomably intimate, it made Azul wonder if he was simply delirious with a new kind of fever or there was a side effect in the failed transformation potion Deuce and Ace made which he somehow missed out on.
Or maybe it was just the way she had oh so happily cheered when she saw herself as a merfolk and went, "I'm just like you now,Azul!" as if being turned into an OctoMer was one of the very best things which could've happened to her.
Azul wasn't really sure how he felt about it. It's not that he was ashamed about what he was—OctoMers were a minority, yes, but not any less significant than any other species and she was...well...she was very pleasing to look at in this particular form, although, Azul couldn't deny Yuu had always been a view he could not help but be drawn too.
Maybe it was those feelings which made this ordeal difficult for him. It was distracting and frankly unsuitable for his persons.
And yet...as Yuu laughed and wriggled her body in the pool, her cheeks flushed and eyes beaming,Azul thought that maybe it wasn't all that bad.
"Azul!" Yuu called with a happy little wave, the slightest movement from her making the water slosh around.
Azul smiled, small but earnest. He waved back and Yuu's expression lit up, the same oh so convenient time,Azul's heart skipped a beat.
Jade Leech
"Oh my god,Jade! I'm so sliiiiimyyyy!"
Yuu had grabbed his wrist and tugged him forward until his palms were pressed onto her shoulder;her usual complexion was now a slick and slippery shade of grey and navy blue, slightly similar to his and Floyd's. Which was a given, now that she was momentarily an Eel folk.
Jade smiled down at her in their makeshift pool as he demurely scanned over her changed form. He liked her eyes the best; they had split pupils which seemed to glow and it reminded him of fireflies.
Her chest had been covered easily with a binder Sam had in availability at his store. It was meant for coverage rather than restriction, so it didn't do much to cause discomfort to her. Not that Jade had sensed a single discomfort or awkwardness from her of course.
In fact, Yuu had spent the first thirty minutes merely gushing at her new form. A transformation potion had gone awry and the result was that Yuu had somehow changed into a merfolk. Jade was aware of her fixation of his kind but it was a whole different thing to witness her be so...thrilled and so Jade had decided he would very much like to indulge in the time they had together like this.
"Why,yes, you are. We're often covered in a layer of mucus which helps us move faster in water and also keeps us from contracting diseases." Jade explained patiently as Yuu eyed him with curiosity.
"Woah, really? That's so cool! Oh, and are all our tails this long?" She made a grab at the edge of the pool so she could hoist herself on her side so a portion of her tail could be shown off.
Jade snickered and eyed her amusingly. He liked this, he realized. Yuu had always been a rather raucously free spirited person but in this state, she seemed even more so; in the best possible way,of course.
"Hm, it is common, yes. But," he sighed rather dramatically then, "You are quite small, still."
"...!" The blush that crept up on her face was adorable, so Jade grinned and he hoped the day was longer for it.
Floyd Leech
"Hey,shrimpy, you keep doin' that and I'm going to get real angry." Despite the very real warning in his words, Yuu didn't seem the least bit intimidated at all.
The pool's surface rippled slightly as she dove into the water with a laugh when it splashed on Floyd and got his clothes wet. The glistening tip of her fin protruding out of the water gave him the urge to dive into the pool himself and squeeze her.
"Hey,Shrimpy, are ya ignoring me?" Floyd bit out, hands already gripping the edge of the pool. If he jumped in now, she wouldn't even know what hit her. Her new Shark folk form was brand new after all, and sure she was a fast learner but Floyd's been an Eel folk his entire life, he'd definitely win underwater.
As he scrutinized the water with that thought, Yuu's head popped up and she was grinning.
"I'm Sharky now." She said and made Floyd frown.
"Huh?"
Yuu rolled her eyes then splashed more water his way before she gestured at her back where her fin was and then at her gills and then dove right into the water to do some kind of elaborate swimming before she gushed out of the water again and flashed him her sharp teeth.
"I'm a shark now."
"You're annoyin' is what you are." Floyd deadpanned but grinned viciously when Yuu's face flushed and she blew a noisy raspberry at him like some sort of kid.
"You're just jealous cause you're a slimy eel and I'm an apex predator."
"Ha? Where's the apex predator? I just see a lil shrimp playing dress up."
Yuu gave him another splash and without saying anything, Floyd moved and jumped into the water, which earned a surprised yelp from her.
"Told ya not to get me angry, lil shrimp, now I'm going to squeeze you until your fin comes loose."
Yuu shrieked as Floyd managed to get a hold of her wrist just before she could dive back into the water but instead of the violence he threatened her with, Floyd instead reached up and tickled her and a burst of laughter had her doubling over in a fit of giggles.
"S-Stop..! Floyd...!"
Floyd's mood immediately perked up at the sight of her like this and another evil grin curled on his lips.
"Nah" he said simply "Imma make you pay for all that splashing around, Shrimpy."
Capri Notes: Hullo, hopefully this was nice! I wanted it to be a tad longer but half way through writing, everything seemed too cluttery and I honestly didn't like it so I had to cut off portions for all three 🫤 again, sorry it took so long and if the boys seem a bit ooc? I wrote this with the mindset that they were already crushing hard on Yuu so
hi hi i love ur writing and i jst read jade leechs ten yr plan and i LOVED it would u be willing to do it with other characters like azul or anyone else dont feel pressured❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Soft, rhythmic jazz music filled the Mostro Lounge as you went inside and Jade sat you down at your usual spot. The interaction was routine, since the both of you already knew what you were going to order, and that you mostly came to see Azul. You used to say that you loved coming because of the food, but now you outright admit that you just want to see Azul’s side when he’s working around the lounge.
Giving the menu back into Jade’s hands, he politely thanks you for your order and heads to the kitchen. A few minutes later, not one eel, but two emerge from the kitchen, menu in hand (or so you thought).
“Hiya Shrimpy, are ya sure about your order?” Floyd drawls, a smile plastered on his face which tells you that he was up to no good. Reflecting his brother’s expression, Jade beckons you to come closer to them, holding up a “menu” for you to see.
“Prefect, Mostro Lounge is currently accepting special orders from our prototype menu. Once you have a look at it, do let us know how we may be of assistance to you,” with a grin, he places a hand on his chest as you offer you a journal shaped menu. Is the Lounge going through some budget cuts? You think.
Thanking them for their service(?), you carefully flip open the journal to see what kind of dishes they were offering. Instead, you’re met with suspiciously familiar penmanship that belonged to a certain octopus you called your boyfriend…
On the first page, the said boyfriend had neatly written, “My 10 Year Plan.”
Oho…this menu had some special options, that’s for sure. You weren’t sure of the motives the twins had by handing you Azul’s private journal, but you figured that you had to find that out for yourself (by looking through the pages). Jade had even conveniently left you a pack of sticky notes and a pen, prompting you to voice your thoughts on the journal’s pages…
Oh well, you thought. Maybe Azul was too shy to give this to me himself. The ever-so-bold businessman did seem to have his thinking capacity greatly diminished in your presence, turning into a shy schoolboy when you were around him. This was probably his way of asking for your advice, though you knew he was capable of doing so himself…you didn’t want to think too hard about it. Onto page 2 it is.
The journal is surprisingly organized–he has written a table of contents that included his projected revenue increases for each year; a detailed list of all the contracts he has and intends to sign; and even a little section marked with a heart, which you assume is dedicated for his future plans for the both of you. You were loving this already.
As much as you wanted to skip over to the heart section, you told yourself you’d look over the business plans he made first out of respect for his efforts. His first note read:
Convince Jade into a 70/30 instead of a partnership.
Okay, you were using your first sticky note on this point. There was no way he’d accept things to go this way…scribbling away, you wrote:
(I heard from Jade’s girlfriend that he wants a partnership)
(Backup plan: Succumb to the partnership and start another business + monopolize Scarabia textile imports to Coral Sea)
You were proud of yourself for thinking this far ahead. Maybe this was the reason the twins handed over Azul’s journal to you? It seemed like Jade could handle things fine on his own, though.
Moving on, Azul’s 3rd year point wrote:
Purchase land on Sage Island. Consult the Prefect on wallpaper choices.
Aw, how sweet. He was thinking of the home you’d spend your days in together–you did have a discussion of whether you’d want to settle on land or in the sea, but Azul was rather adamant on staying on land with you. You weren’t sure if it was solely for your sake or business opportunities, but you had no complaints. Peeling off another sticky note, you brilliantly write:
(I want something pretty)
Now, it’s time for the section you’ve been waiting for! You excitedly skip over to the heart section of the journal, eager to know what Azul has in store for your relationship.
As expected, the page is filled with his handwriting–his plans, his ramblings, small notes, and your eyes land on a particularly flustering point:
Bound myself to the Prefect on a contract of everlasting love.
In normal circumstances, you would’ve swooned at the mere thought of marrying Azul and happily paste your comments as you did earlier. However, there was one problem…
All the plans he had written were crossed out.
Propose to my beautiful, gorgeous girlfriend.
Bound myself to the Prefect on a contract of everlasting love.
Be a good father to our children.
Except for one.
Break up with the Prefect.
Hands trembling, you shut the notebook closed. You sat still for a good moment, feeling tears threatening to blink out of your eyes.
Why would he do this? As far as you knew, your relationship was going strong–he showed no signs of being unhappy with you. As a matter of fact, you had just gone out on a date yesterday!
Before your thoughts could spiral down, the sight of a tray entered your peripheral vision. Looking up, you saw Azul’s expression quickly shift from his usual smug, pleased smirk to one of worry, his eyebrows furrowing and mouth opening to speak, “My pearl, what’s wrong?”
Seeing you give no response, his eyes pan to you holding his journal, and a deep panic settles into him as well.
You weren’t supposed to see that, he internally frets.
“Wait–Prefect, I can explain, you are mistaken, I was mistaken, I–”
“How long have you been feeling this way?” You manage to breathe out, making an effort not to raise your voice and keep a level mind, as impossible as that sounds.
“I…” he trails off, not knowing whether to start with comforting you or explaining his rationale.
“Yesterday, you told me you loved me. Was that all a lie?” Facing him now, you gather the courage to look him in the eyes. To Azul, the sight breaks his heart–your beautiful face is soiled with tears, and your eyes are dilated–filled with pain.
“No–of course it wasn’t. I…assure you that there hasn’t been a moment when I stopped loving you, dear pearl.” He attempts to soothe you by gently holding your hand, but you pull away on instinct.
“Then why? Why would ever–” your voice breaks, holding back a sob, “Why would you plan on breaking up with me? Did I do something wrong?”
“That couldn't be farther from the truth. I will fully explain myself, if you would allow it,” he sits himself across from you, attempting to take your hand in his yet again. This time, you don’t pull back and simply nod at him.
“You’ve always known that I’ve had certain…issues with myself,” he cautiously starts, picking his words carefully, “and even though you’ve immensely helped me with them, I found myself revising my plans during a particularly vulnerable moment.”
Interlocking your fingers with his, he continues, “I found myself undeserving of your love, and to my shame; afraid, even, that you would one day realize that loving me isn’t worth the trouble after all,” Pausing, Azul seems hesitant to speak, but decides to tell you anyway, “I had realized that if you were to choose to leave me, I couldn’t name any good reasons to make you stay.”
“Despite how unpleasant that sounds, I do want you to know that I’ve somewhat moved past that phase in the course of our relationship. Instead of leaving, you have continuously chosen to love me. I know now that it is a deliberate decision. I still cannot fathom how, but I have also decided to believe in it and move forward doing the same.” And I plan to do so, forever.
“And with that, I’d like to beg for your forgiveness, for ever believing that you would ever want to abandon me. I am assured that no such thought has dared to cross your pretty mind,” his comment at the end makes you smile a bit, and you squeeze his hand in agreement.
“I am aware that it may seem too soon…but I’d like to ask something of you, my dear pearl.” You nod, eyes waiting in quiet anticipation.
“I’d like to permanently revise my foolish plans, and ask you…if you are still willing to enter into a very romantic, everlasting contract with me.”
His question earns him a small laugh from you, “Well, how romantic would it be?”
With a little smirk, he brings his hand up to his lips to softly kiss it, “Enough romance to last us a lifetime, how about that, my darling?”
After resolving the issue with the damned journal, you urge Azul to open it one more time.
“I do not wish for it to cause you any more pain, my pearl.”
“Don't worry Azul, I just need to make one more comment!”
Skipping over to the heart section, your eyes quickly scan over to the point you’re looking for:
Break up with the Prefect.
You excitedly write down a quiet note on your sticky pad and make a show of removing and pasting it on his journal for Azul to see.
(I think you wrote “Dramatically propose and marry and have kids with my jaw-dropping, beautiful girlfriend. Marry me, Azul?)
Reading it, he could only stammer and stutter at your comment, gently nodding and covering his face in response.

ʚ⁺˖↪ IDIA
Idia, with his lanky 183-centimeter (6 ft) tall frame, was hiding from a particular someone who can’t even reach his eye level. The heir to the mega-organization S.T.Y.X. looked to stay out of the magicless prefect's sight, back against the wall and clutching his tablet to his chest.
It had been months since you discovered that you shared a common interest in a video game with Ignihyde’s housewarden, and since then, you’ve been intruding into his life (well, not precisely, since you always ask before joining his party in the game and were overall tactful of when to contact him or not—but still, why do you want to keep in touch with a slouching loser like him?).
He was convinced you were messing with him, pretending to like the same MMO just to gossip about him to your peers and whatnot. There was no way you actually liked him… or so he thought.
After the only class he’s forced to attend in person, when he was walking back to the Hall of Mirrors to coop himself up in his comfy bedroom, a mishap in the laboratory occurred. Disastrous enough to propel the door against the hallway’s wall and let a dense cloud envelop the passerby.
By "bypasser," one meant Idia. Woe was he.
While coughing and using his hand to waft the remnants of the chemical air away, someone had run to check on him.
“Idia, are you alright?” you placed your hands on his shoulders before you sent a pointed look at your furry companion. “I tried stopping Grim from doubling the amount of leaves, but he wouldn’t listen...”
“I’ll need one of you to stay and clean up this mess,” Professor Crewel was, of course, less than enthusiastic about the mishap. “And for the other one to help Mr. Shroud to the infirmary.” The chains attached to the end of his teaching pointer jingled when he slapped the tip on his palm.
“I’m taking Idia to the infirmary,” it was a no-brainer for you. You didn’t want to be on the receiving end of Professor Crewel’s scolding, and as much as you loved Grim, you’d sit this one out…
Idia grumbled about something but didn’t put much resistance on the way to the infirmary. As if being forced to run laps around the field for 30 minutes wasn’t enough, the dizzying effects of whatever transpired in that lab were the perfect K.O. combo. He wished for nothing more than to throw himself into the nearest surface and cancel his subscription to existence. Maybe get his daily login done before that.
Ah, Idia looks so handsome when he worries his lips like that.
Idia almost choked on his own saliva.
His head snapped in your direction, to which you raised an eyebrow.
“Everything okay, Idia?”
“Ah—I thought I had heard something,” he chuckled nervously before facing forward again.
Hehe, the tips of his hair turned pink. I wonder if other parts turn pink too. Like, the tip—
Huh?!
—s of his ears.
Oh…
And the other tip too.
Okay, this was ridiculous. Surely you were just jesting? You must be up to some tomfoolery. Regardless of whether such salacious thoughts meant something significant for the feelings he had been refusing to acknowledge, he wasn’t ready to face them.
I can’t believe I’ll get to be alone with him in the infirmary. Not that I’d expect anything to happen, but it’d be fun if it did. Maybe a little smooch? Pfft, what am I thinking? Knowing Idia, he would run away before anything happened.
That’d be a correct assessment, because while you entertained your imagination about the possibilities, Idia snuck away. The dizziness from that cloud dispersed, and suddenly he felt in condition to run another lap around campus if Coach Vargas asked him to.
If he listened to another word from your mind, he’d combust right there and then. Thus, the reason why he was hiding from you in the first place.
Where did he go? I can’t let him wander alone in that state! Just thinking of Crewel chewing my ear off is giving me a headache.
To his dismay, he didn’t make it far from you, as he could still hear your thoughts.
“Oh, Kalim, have you seen Idia? He was right here with me a few minutes ago, and I can’t find him.”
“Whaaat? I can help you find him!”
Idia panicked. His hiding place was not great in the first place, and adding a high-energy extrovert like Kalim to the equation was a recipe for disaster too.
In the meantime, Kalim chatted with you about something Idia couldn’t bother himself enough to decipher. Idia peeked from the classroom’s ajar door once he heard your voices fading further away. Seizing the opportunity to scurry away now that you both had your backs to him, he pushed the door open and fled… Only to rush face-first into an unsuspecting passing student and send the pile of books he was carrying flying.
ʚ⁺˖↪ LEONA
You’ve been following Leona.
He wasn’t blind or deaf—and even if that were the case, your scent was one he couldn’t ignore. Although, saying that you were following him did paint you in a less than favorable light. In reality, you’ve been waiting for the right moment to approach him, and Leona had a hunch about the reason why.
After the spell-drive training, Leona headed to take much deserved breather under the shade of a tree. Not only was he physically exhausted, as these training matches were accustomed to be, but he was beyond irked from listening to unwarranted thoughts. From the coach to the teammates and other students that went to watch it—he wondered why he even thought in the first place it was a good idea to go. He had gone with the idea to destress after that alchemy class’s disaster where some idiot mixed the ingredients wrong and doused him with a mind-reading potion. It had done the complete opposite.
Crewel had sent him to the infirmary, and while Leona did so (grumbling), he didn’t heed the nurse’s recommendation to lie down until the effects lessened. Instead, he had gone straight to his spelldrive club.
This is rather embarrassing. I don’t know how to approach him. He clearly isn’t in a good mood. Damn it, Crewel. Why did you send me of all people to look for Leona?
The breeze rustled the leaves, softly swaying Leona’s hair along.
Leona closed his eyes and crossed his arms behind his head to cushion it from the tree’s trunk, finding your thoughts rather amusing than anything else. You were so nervous to approach him he couldn’t help finding it entertaining rather than annoying. It was a breath of fresh air. Instead of trying to tune you out, he waited for the next string of thoughts.
So you approached him. He commended you for leaping despite your hesitation. Regardless, upon feeling your presence mere meters away from him, Leona didn’t even bother cranking an eye open. This spot here was a rather restful one in the courtyard, far from prying eyes and unwelcomed guests. With the setting sun’s warm glow onto the earth and the zephyr freshening up his sweaty skin, he was way too comfortable here.
“Leona, the nurse is waiting for you to check up on your condition.”
“Tell her I’m resting like she told me to.”
“Well, she can’t see how you’re doing if you’re not there, though.”
Leona frowned. “I’m not moving.”
Yet his refusal to listen didn’t deter you.
You sat close to him, under the shade of the leafy tree too.
“I can’t go back without you. Professor Crewel and the nurse won’t stop pestering me until I bring you back with me.” You sighed, fiddling with the hem of your shirt.
“Suit yourself.”
Uhg, Leona! How can you be so…so…
Go on.
So hot even when just resting. I’ve been trying so hard not to stare at his chest since he lowered the zipper, but it’s hard not to. He looks so firm…
Leona’s ear twitched.
And that buckle under his pecs looks quite tight too. He must’ve been bulking for the spelldrive season.
Would you look at that? Who would’ve thought you harbored such salacious thoughts of him beneath that unassuming exterior. As grueling as dealing with this unwanted mind-reading ability was, this discovery lightened his mood. Since when have you been so effusively thinking of him?
Is he asleep already? He looks tired. I don’t want to wake him up... He’s got pretty eyelashes too. Geez, stop staring at him!
You waited for him for longer than he expected you to.
Well, I’ll tell them I tried.
Just as you were about to head off, Leona caught your wrist and pulled you to sit next to him.
“Quit fidgeting,” Leona grumbled, resting his head on your shoulder. “I’ll go.”
“Really?”
“After I’m done napping.”
ʚ⁺˖↪ ROOK
Before you knocked, Rook’s enthusiastic smile greeted you first upon opening the door. He was wearing that one unique nightshirt of his without the nightcap, and as handsome as he was that only him could pull that look off, you weren’t expecting him to greet you wearing that.
“Ah, trickster! What a sight for sore eyes you are!” he beamed, stepping aside to let you in to his bedroom. “Are you here for that little makeup lesson we agreed on?”
“Sorry, I was just going to check up on you. Has the potion’s effects worn off?”
Wait a minute… Are those freckles? Now that I think about it, I had never seen Rook’s bare face until now. He’s still stunning without makeup.
“Non, but no need to fret! I’m very much capable of mentoring your endeavors to elevate your natural beauté. Come in, come in.” Without letting you hesitate any further, Rook found the small of your back to nudge you inside.
Ah—I feel like I’m intruding. You peered at the lavishly decorated room, the wallpaper harmonizing with the merlot curtains and white canopy atop the bed. Truly a room befitting the Pomefiore dorm. It was a far cry from the ordinary furniture of Ramshackle. You kept stealing glances at Rook, checking that it was really okay for you to be here. Not knowing the severity of the potion’s side effects, you wouldn’t want him to entertain you over resting, but he was humming as he opened the drawers of his vanity to look for the makeup brushes.
Rook briefed you through the steps to prepare your skin for makeup application, like cleansing, hydration, and solar protection. He even helped you choose shades that would cooperate with your skin tone rather than wash it out—and you did your utmost effort to keep up with his explanations… but it wouldn’t be Rook if he didn’t meld his speech with poetic prose.
“This shade of blue and the color of your eyes blend so beautifully they seem destined to confluence, like the gracious merging of two flowing rivers,” it didn’t help that he would compose a poetic prose about your features and the makeup on the spot. Your face was burning at this point. On top of that, he held your chin up with his hand, ensuring you wouldn’t squirm away and smudge something.
We’re so close… I could count his freckles if I wanted to… Wouldn’t it be nice if I could pepper a kiss on each and every one of them? Hmmm, dreaming is free.
"Ahem—what did the potion cause, anyway?” you forced yourself out of your thoughts.
Rook’s lips quirked up, his movements stopping for a moment. “Well, it enhanced my sense of hearing.”
“Really? That doesn’t sound so bad.”
Wouldn’t it be so embarrassing if it were something like mind-reading? Hah, imagine.
Request by Anon:
Hey so I had a request for Twst; I was wondering what if the overblot boys [+the twins, kalim] would react to their s/o having a crazy stalker. And they are very much aware, who it is, but refuses to ask for help, like they are lowkey acting causal about it; but, freaking out on the inside. Not knowing what to do. And they ended up spilling about this fact during an isolating mental breakdown. <3 [hope it’s not too much!! And if it is you can tweak it lol.]
A/N: I reduced this to just the Overblotters as I only do 7 characters per request, sorry!
• Riddle will notice certain strange behaviour. It's almost impossible to go undetected when he spends so much time around you - the way you're constantly looking over your shoulder, how you do a frantic double-take whenever you see someone who looks a little too familiar, how you go pale whenever you get a text or call from another unknown number.
• He'd be concerned and bring it up to you, but he wanted to trust you when you told him that everything was fine. That you were just a little jittery and anxious by nature.
• He can no longer claim to believe you when he finds himself impatiently knocking on your door after close to a week of no contact from you.
• "Prefect! If you don't open this door, I'll enter by force!" He calls out, rapping his knuckles against the wood, feeling a bead of sweat form on his brow when there's still no response. He then tries the handle, preparing to shout out for you again, only for the words to die on his tongue when the unlocked door swings open to a dark, still room.
• He reaches for the light switch when a hand suddenly darts out from the darkness to grab his wrist before he can turn it on. "Don't." You plead, and he sees you for the first time in days. Unharmed, thankfully, but in a state he's never seen you in before.
• Riddle agrees not to turn the lights on but carefully asks to know what is going on. He reminds you that you haven't been going to classes or responding to any messages and that he was afraid something bad might've happened to you. Those words cause you to break down.
• You finally explain it all, how long this has been happening, how exactly you know who is doing it to you, and how you'd just recently found a package right outside the door to your dorm addressed to you with their initials. They knew where you lived, and in your fear you had resorted to isolation, not daring to step outside, keeping the lights off to make it seem like you weren't present and turning the entire place upside down multiple times in search of any hidden cameras or tracking devices.
• Riddle is angry. Not at you, but unfortunately, I think he may be prone to taking it out on you at first. He doesn't understand why you never told him anything, why you lied to him, when he could have done something about it if you were too afraid to. He will back off though, and later apologises for lashing out. He's just frustrated that all this time, he could have been doing something to help you.
• Having gotten the identity of this individual from you, he will be reporting them to both the school and the authorities. He'll even insist you remain at Heartslabyul for a while, in the hopes you will feel safer there. He keeps a very close eye on your mental state and can come across a bit like he's coddling you at times, though he does mean well.
LEONA KINGSCHOLAR
• Leona would probably put the pieces together early on that something is wrong.
• Like Riddle, he notices your odd behaviour, but he won't buy it when you tell him everything is fine. He isn't going to push you to talk about it, but he does tell you that he'd rather you just be honest with him, and leaves it at that.
• He tries to act as a voice of reason, as I think he's likely to assume you're dealing with some kind of paranoia from a traumatic incident you've experienced in the past. He figures that Night Raven College is relatively safe, even more so if you're constantly seen around the second-born Prince of the Sunset Savanna, so he won't assume that anything is actively happening to you. He thinks you would tell him if there was.
• This is also partially why he's so accepting of being kept in the dark. As long as you aren't actively in danger, he doesn't mind waiting until you're comfortable enough to talk to him about it. If he had known this was an ongoing threat, he wouldn't have been so laid-back.
• You come to him in hysterics one day, inconsolable as you try to explain you'd discovered a hidden camera in your room, disguised as a fake fire alarm. That's about all the information he can get from you as he desperately tries to soothe your terror, ears flat against his head and honestly a little disturbed to see you this way.
• He eventually decides to just let you get it out of your system. He lays on top of you, head on your chest and holding your hands to avoid you accidentally hurting yourself in your panic, and just remains like that as he lets you cry for a little while. He doesn't know what he can do to calm you down, but you aren't going to answer any questions in this state either.
• Eventually, you calm down enough to talk. He lets go of your still-trembling hands and tells you to explain one more time. You repeat what you already told him, trying to keep your cool as you go on to tell him that you know who did it; that you've dealt with them before.
• "You knew?" Leona asks in disbelief, and you nod your head, shrinking back at the furious look on his face. He bites the inside of his cheek. He wants to yell at you, to ask how you could be so stupid to have kept this from him, from everyone; when something could've been done long before it got to this point. But he just closes his eyes, letting out a breath through gritted teeth, and wraps his arms around you as he lays his head back down on your chest.
• "Moron," is all he says, closing his eyes. "...Stay in Savannaclaw for a while."
• He'll take you with him to report it to the school directly, who will no doubt get the authorities involved on their own. But given you know the identity of the stalker, he will be following up on that in his own time. Find them, teach them a lesson... see how well they can try to justify their actions with half the teeth beaten out of their skull.
AZUL ASHENGROTTO
• When Jade and Floyd burst through the door to his office, he was prepared to shout at them to leave and not interrupt his work, until he saw you being dragged along in tow.
• "What-" "Some guy tried to touch Shrimpy 'n' now they're all properly shaken up. Can't calm 'em down or nothing."
• "Properly shaken up" was certainly one way to describe the state you were in. The twins were each holding onto one of your shoulders and practically hoisting you up off the ground, having to carry you just to get you in here. You looked sick.
• Azul rushes over and you're lowered to the ground before they let go of you entirely. Unsure of what to do, he just kneels and gently wraps his arms around you, careful in case his touch only scared you more. He looks up at Floyd.
• "Someone tried to touch them, you said? In the Lounge?" "We got rid of them," Jade assured him. "But, as you can see, that didn't do much to soothe them. I thought this would be better left in your hands, no?"
• Azul sighs, taking a moment to process what he had been told, and then nods. "Right. Out," he says, making a gesture to the door with his head. "Thank you."
• Once you're left alone, Azul won't be letting go of you. He tries to ground you, though no matter how successful is, he remains holding you. He doesn't really know what to do other than offer soothing words of comfort that may or may not be getting through to you, and just... wait for it to stop.
• When you finally gather yourself enough to tell him what happened - recounting what the twins said, that there was someone in the Lounge who tried to grab you, as well as your prior history with this individual - he just listens in silence. He remains calm, and though he may ask why you never told him anything, he ultimately understands. He's just upset that he couldn't quite be the "safe space" you needed him to be all this time.
• The way Azul handles it is... a little different. Ultimately, he leaves the choice of whether or not to report it up to you, and he won't push the matter if you choose not to. But he won't just do nothing, either.
• He has the identity of this stalker now. And if he were to send Jade and Floyd off to "information gather" for a bit, or use them as intimidation, he could end up having this person who has caused you so much grief tied up in a contract within the week. As much as he'd revel in forcing them to do his - or your - bidding, he recognises that your safety comes first over everything; so the stipulations would essentially be that of a restraining order. If it is violated... well. Fuck you, get sea foamed.
• The path to recovery is a long one, but it's much easier with Azul there to reassure you that you will never have to worry about encountering your assailant again.
JAMIL VIPER
• Jamil will notice that something is wrong, but unlike the others, he is actually kind of pushy about knowing what it is.
• His intention is never to make you uncomfortable, but he knows that something is up with your behaviour and won't allow you to brush it off. He'll drop it once you get mad at him, only to bring it up again later, reminding you that he can't do anything to help if you aren't being honest with him.
• I can definitely see him unintentionally pushing you to your breaking point by doing this. You just burst into tears one day after he questions you, and Jamil initially assumes it's because he's upsetting you. He awkwardly tries to apologise, and only realises there's much more to your façade crumbling when you start to confess all of it to him.
• He lets you cry against his chest, getting it all out of your system, listens to every word and encourages you to say more. He might come across as a little unempathetic at first as he's more focused on getting as much information from you as possible than anything, but once it's clear you either have nothing else to say or can't bring yourself to spill anymore, he switches gears to comfort you right away.
• Jamil is absolutely seething, but beyond chastising you a bit for not telling him sooner, he doesn't show it much. I think he redirects his energy to looking after you for the rest of the day, to the point where it's a little excessive. Either that or he just cleans and cleans so he can have something to do, otherwise he fears he may explode.
• He will also be very firm about the fact that this needs to be reported. If you don't want to right away, he understands, and he'll wait for you to be ready; but if it won't come from you, it'll come from him.
• Another thing: I think Jamil is very good at dealing with any potential paranoia that comes from this experience. He can act as a voice of reason while going out of his way to reassure you that you're safe - such as checking your room with you to eliminate the possibility of hidden devices, things like that.
VIL SCHOENHEIT
• Vil actually doesn't end up hearing it from you. He hears it from Rook.
• Rook has a habit of "people-watching" himself, and in a strange turn of events, the hunter ends up spying on your stalker spying on you. At least, that's what it sounded like when he recounted the ordeal to Vil, who didn't take the information too well.
• He'll initially assume that you're being stalked because of your relation to him. Vil is a world-famous celebrity and has had his fair share of close encounters with creepy fans, and he knows just how invasive the media can be. It's why he keeps his relationship with you on the down-low.
• But if someone found out or has suspicions about the two of you, could that be why this is happening?
• He'll confront you directly, but he wasn't prepared for you to admit to him that not only do you know the identity of the stalker, but that this has been ongoing for a while. He isn't very fond of your far-too-casual attitude while delivering this information, but as he stresses to you just how serious this is, the illusion cracks and you break down.
• "It's going to be okay," he whispers for the nth time, holding your face as he wipes away any tears that fall. "Deep breaths. Slowly."
• Perhaps due to his own experience with this kind of fear, he's very good at calming you down from your panicked state. "You're alright."
• "I-I'm sorry," you croak, and he shakes his head.
• "At least I know now. In the future, I expect you to tell me when these kinds of things happen."
• When you're a little more clear-headed, you end up sheepishly asking him if he'll come with you to report the incident to the school, and he looks confused for a moment before remembering that he never told you. "Oh, Rook took care of them."
• "...What? What does that mean?"
• "I'm... not sure, but he assured me he took care of it."
IDIA SHROUD
• To be honest, Idia is unlikely to confront you about any strange behaviour he may notice. He'll definitely clock some things that he thinks are weird, but then he's reminded of how he himself acts, and he figures he shouldn't throw stones from glass houses.
• He does keep an eye on you though, and whenever he notices you acting extra twitchy or nervous, he tries to take your mind off of it however he can. That is, by offering to watch or play something with you.
• Playing a game is exactly what he's awake doing when he gets a text message from you at 11PM. You'd just typed his name, misspelled as 'Idis,' and before he could message you back with a quip to make fun of you for it, your next message came through.
• 'Someone's outside my dorm.'
• He sits upright in his chair, blinking at his phone screen. 'Wdym?????' He texts back, and you repeat again, 'someone's outside'.
• He exits the game screen on his computer and immediately starts searching for his camera feeds. He has cameras set up all over Sage Island - which, of course, includes one set up right outside your dorm. It is creepy, he's aware, but it came in handy in this moment as he did indeed see a figure skulking around the Ramshackle building and seemingly trying to look through the windows.
• It didn't take long for you to hear a kind of skirmish outside. When you finally peek through the curtains, you see the campus authorities having already arrived, and then your phone buzzes again. 'Name, location and picture sent to literally everywhere lol ggz loser'.
• 'Thank you', you type back, slipping on some shoes when you hear a knock at the door, knowing they probably want some kind of statement from you.
• 'EZ', he responds, letting out the biggest sigh of relief as he watches the culprit get led away through the feed. Of course, he couldn't be sure it would result in the problem being permanently solved, so maybe he took to some other measures just to make sure this creep's life would be fully ruined.
• If you see a full dox of your stalker being shared around online shortly afterwards, he'll claim to know nothing about it with the biggest shit-eating grin on his face.
MALLEUS DRACONIA
• Malleus isn't exactly an expert on what constitutes "normal behaviour," but he knows this can't be it.
• For as long as he's known you, you've been... jumpy. More than just reacting to sudden noises or movements, it's like you're constantly expecting something to happen, or for someone to appear. He's asked you on more than one occasion if you feel unsafe, and reminded you that you have no reason to fear with someone like him by your side, but it didn't seem to do any good.
• His presence does seem to help though, which he's glad for. After the first time you'd asked him to stay with you in Ramshackle so you could get a good night's sleep, you started requesting for him to stay more and more often until it basically became commonplace for him to come over every night.
• It's on one of these nights that he finds himself right outside your dorm again. And in the darkness, he just barely makes out a figure standing in the garden. He's none too pleased when he gets closer and discovers that said figure was definitely not you.
• "What do you think you're doing?" Is all the stalker hears before they spin around and come face to face with a thoroughly pissed off Malleus Draconia.
• Heavy rain starts to beat down on your windows as you hear a thunderstorm suddenly start up outside. You were just about to take a look when you hear a knock at the door, and nearly trip over yourself in your rush to let Malleus inside from the pouring rain.
• "Get in, get in!" You exclaim, tossing over a towel. He wasn't too soaked, thankfully, and he didn't seem at all bothered by the storm either. In fact, now that you were looking outside again, it looked to be easing up rather quickly.
• "Prefect," Malleus starts, a curious look on his face that you couldn't quite place. "Did you invite any other friends over tonight?"
• You frowned. "No?"
• Malleus nods, and then gives you a smile. "I didn't think so."
a defining moment where floyd determines his personal nickname for you
details: fluff ┊ gn!reader ┊ 650 words ┊ dedicated to @mikiruie my beloved
Floyd Leech isn't quite sure what to do with his feelings sometimes. Most people are put off by his sudden changes in mood and behavior—with the exception of his twin brother, of course.
But the thing is, Floyd just can't help it, especially now that you've wormed your way into his life.
You're a fascinating one, you see, for you make him feel so many things all at once.
Sometimes, he feels the urge to chase you down or give you a little spook, but he wants to be the one you run to for safety. He'll blurt out the most random things to get a reaction out of you, but he'll come after anyone who dares to make you uncomfortable.
Your company makes him feel at peace, but you also make him want to break out in song and dance. And while he's very much used to just doing whatever he wants, he finds himself thinking twice around you…most of the time.
It was only when he talked to Jade that he realized what his feelings were. Walking on land as a human gives Floyd an unbearable itch; he misses his true form and the fluid nature of water. But when you're around? He feels like he's swimming in a sea of delight.
Floyd's heart follows wherever your tide takes him.
The sentiment rings true in this moment, where you both sit cross-legged on the couch. It's been a few minutes since he started cooing at you out of nowhere.
You tilt his head at him, wondering what caused the sudden shift in his demeanor.
"Did I do something?"
"Noooo…" He giggles to himself.
"Huh. I swear, you were silent just a moment ago. What piqued your interest this time, huh?"
"Hyeeeheheheeh!"
"Floyd?"
He gives you his signature grin (the one you called adorable when you didn't think he was listening).
"Your little pout…"
"Hm?" At that, you purse your lips and point to yourself.
"That! Hehehehe. Like that!"
Leaning forward, he inches closer into your personal space.
"Okay, what about my pout?" You await his answer. "…Floyd?"
"You're so cute! I want to squeeze you." He reaches out one hand to tilt your chin upwards.
"A gentle squeeze, I hope?"
"No promises, hehehe!"
He squishes your cheeks with his hand, causing your lips to protrude in a far more exaggerated manner. You don't move a muscle, even when he decides to use both of his hands to squash your face.
The eel is absolutely delighted that you're letting him indulge in his whims again (and honestly, maybe he understands why you started aggressively petting that random cat you both saw on campus).
"Floyd? You sound like you're squealing, screeching, laughing, and crying at the same time."
At your observation, he grins. He's amused that he can understand what you're saying, despite the state your endearing little face is in.
"Eh? Is that so? But you're so adorable…I can't help it!"
You exhale and sigh, letting Floyd continue for as long as he wishes. After all, you both know you're enjoying this as much as he is. Even better, his cute aggression has him hugging you close to his chest.
"Oh no. You're going to squeeze me for real," you say in a playful tone.
"Aw…" He ruffles your hair and presses a kiss on the top of your head. "I suppose I will reconsider. I like you too much. I wanna keep you around."
"Good. I'd like to be around you for a lot longer, too."
"Heeheehee."
Floyd frees you from his grasp, but it's not long before he captures your cheeks with both his hands and forces another pout to appear.
"Also, I've decided…"
You raise an eyebrow. "Oh? Decided what?"
"I'm calling you my duckling."
He gives you a quick peck on the lips before giggling to himself again. This will certainly be an exciting afternoon.
yan! twisted wonderland 〖dating sim au〗x gn! reader─if you want to hide a tree, hide it in a forest: that was a saying you abided by strictly after transmigrating into twisted wonderland. to avoid the many death flags from the love interests, you decided to join them, becoming the leader of the 'prefect's fan club!'
next
everyone loved yuu. that word alone barely contained the sheer craziness, the scale of the affection the magicless human garnered during their short stay in NRC.
all, except for you, the leader of 'prefect's fan club'.
let's start from the beginning: you were a painfully average and plain person who tried their best to cope with the world via cheap entertainments. trashy novels, brainless games, you name it.
twisted wonderland was a sore eye, mainly because its graphics were considerably higher than the mindless, ad-bloated games you had on your phone. it was honestly a fun experience: seeing the insane worship the main character received through each chapter.
another than that, its worldbuilding wasn't that bad: the concept of 'overblotting' was well-executed. what put you off tough, was the various 'merry bad endings' you could get by the slightest slip of a mistake.
this game required thinking, something you threw away after a long, busy day. one wrong word, and the 'GAME OVER!' flashed red on the screen.
let's skip through the details of your miserable death, a fitting punishment for being on the phone while crossing the road when the green light hadn't even appeared.
so you woke up in a dorm room of, much to your dread, pomefiore’s. you had transmigrated into a background NPC, serving as one of the students fawning over yuu in some cutscenes you couldn't bother to remember.
one cool thing you found out about this body, though, was that its original owner had a fancy parasol. a majority of pomefiore students hailed from wealthy families, and it seemed you were lucky to land on the body of one such young master.
your luck stopped there when you recalled the setting of the game: one wrong move and you could be executed by the main love interests. you could try to remain low-profile, but you were a pomefiore student: that spelled attention already.
you were gripping your (surprisingly) majestic hair, thinking of a plan to help you survive, until you realized: you were meant to fall in love with yuu, just another NPC with an admiration that couldn't be compared to the utter devotion the real love interests had for them.
of course, since this was an inherently ridiculous setting, why not take it upon yourself to become the leader of the prefect's fan club?
after all, you could make a fortune out of yuu-based merchandises!
and that was how, your brainchild, a.k.a your lifeline, came to be. decorated in the signature pastel purple and wite, you actively organized meetings, prepared stuff such as glowsticks, keychains and even pictures of yuu during classes. sharing the same class with the famous magicless human had many of its perks.
occasionally, you spotted familiar figures, from the starters' duo, ace and deuce, who, at first, came to threaten you due to your intrusion of yuu's privacy, were persuaded almost immediately by a free offer of your merchandise.
"you....how did you take this picture?" ace had inquired when you gave him a sample of yuu's yawning during a history class. of course, it captured their glory perfectly because of your expensive polaroid.
"join the club~! we share our secrets there!" you hummed, spreading the stack of photos you had in your hands, much to both of their surprise.
there was a reason you were made the leader!
however, since the current timeline was still between chapter 2 and chapter 3, you got in trouble with your housewarden a lot for staying up late. after all, at this time, vil had yet to comprehend the greatness of yuu.
"you look absolutely horrendous." he commented, upon catching you sneak into your dorm after a fan meeting. you jolted, attempting pathetically to hide the stack of fan merchandise behind your back. a nervous whislte escaped your o-shaped lips as your eyes darted aside.
"sometimes, i find myself impressed by your self-destructive capability: not sleeping for 3 days straight, napping during flight classes, and breaking your own self-care routine." he added on, as though reading your crimes from a long paper scroll like a judge, and you were on a trial. when you were about to verbalize your protests, his fingers had rested against your lips.
"i do not want to hear another word from your dry lips. clean up and go to bed, now." oh, the absolute nerves! you awaited the day he would come begging to join your club. you wondered what he would purchase first? a photo of yuu, a pen, or a keychain? the options were endless in your club.
although your housewarden and many others from your dorm had yet to be charmed by yuu yet (which was a shame considering how many rich students there were; you could drain their entire pocket), other previous dorms, like heartslaybul and savanaclaw, had been utterly captivated.
which was why one of your favorite pastimes was to blackmail tease the housewarden: riddle rosehearts!
"riddle~!"
"goldfish~!"
that was the combo of double trouble that rivalled ace and deuce's annoying existence. at least with the latter, riddle had a fair chance of discipling them. you and floyd? you bet he would run away from his current spot already. when you and one of the notorious leech twins met face-to-face, coldness intruded into the air. the two of you didn't spare one another; dagger glares clashed against each other. the tension in the cafeteria was so thick that it caused other unfortunate students in the nearest vicinity to gulp. a shared laughter cut through the ice like nothing, as your hands rested onto riddle's shoulders.
"oh, what honor do i have to meet with such an elusive figure?" you gave him a half-assed smile, eyes closed in a mockingly happy expression. despite his mood swings being a danger to the NPCs, he had yet to be captured by yuu yet, so you enjoyed toying with floyd a lot.
(translated: why the fuck do i have to encounter a creep like you!?)
"seems like mx. cuttlefish is intered in goldfish too! you aren't about to eat him, are you~?"
(translated: i know you hoe is NOT genuine)
lightning pratically sparked from the prolonged eye contact, and it wasn't until riddle bravely complained about you two that you stopped. you huffed, cheeks puffed in annoyance, before leaving for your table. you couldn't take floyd down, at least not in a physical fight. the tables would turn when yuu happened; you were sure of it!
last but not least, epel femier. the first year was so amusingly adorable, and what was that? always inquiring about yuu! oh, the sweet taste of puppy love that would soon be twisted into a consuming obsession: you were delighted not to partake in any of that.
he was so short compared to your body; each greeting hug would ended up in him being smothered by your chest. the beauty didn't hide his envy of your taller and presumably stronger frame, pushing you out in petty anger. you knew this, as his story was the one more focused on during chapter 5.
"i don't understand yer obsession with that magicless human." he piped up, in that dialect of his when you scooted next to him in the cafeteria. your cheeks puffed from the anger of being utterly defeated, something he probably didn't notice due to the lack of comments.
"how could i not!" you gasped, as though offended by his words. "did you not see their marvelous obsidian eyes? the twinkles that could shame the brightest stars in the sky? their laughs radiated the warmth of the sun itself!"
as you continued the passionate lectures of your admiration for the prefect, clasped hands with eyes closed in reminiscence, you failed to notice how epel became increasingly interested in his lunch, or how a spark of annoyance flashed through his eyes so slightly. he knew, though, that even if you had noticed it, you would just chuck down to him throwing a tantrum of his seniors' eccentricity again.
you were so frustratingly oblivious.
that was how an usual day in NRC went for you: hoarding money from NPCs, sleeping during classes, getting scolded by vil, and most importantly, organizing meetings!
it was supposed to be another mundane day, as you headed towards the empty storage that crowley had allowed you to use. a stack of money was in your hands, index finger flipped through each of them to count meticulously, a satisfied cat-like smile tugged your lips.
supposed, because when you opened the door, the figure you didn't expect to encounter as of now the most, was there.
the main character, the empty vessel the players controlled: yuu.
they were sitting on a chair, eyes reading a book that you recognized, with a horrified thought, the fanfic you had written of them to prove your dedication.
it was meant to be something like 'hah, i know yuu most than you! follow my lead!', and even during your hazes, motivated by alcoholism, you wouldn't dare to fathom the fact that the protagonist would be reading that with a concerning fixation.
they tilted their head back in boredom, deep eyes lit up at the sight of you. gosh, they were beautiful, but not in the way vil was. it reminded you of those polished porcelain dolls your father used to collect, sitting obediently in their respective cupboards. those eyes, as though painted in by a deity above, scanned your figure.
"i've been dying to meet you." they rested the book on their lips, no doubt hiding their growing smile.
SOS!
𝐚/𝐮: welcome to another one of my madness. okay jokes aside this was inspired by twisted hearts and this one fanfic

The second time, he'd become suspicious.
By the fourth month, he'd developed a solution.
A bandaid.
Every morning during Blood Week, he would quietly appear beside her and hold one out.
No explanation.
Just a bandaid.
"...Thank you?" she'd say.
Pierrot would nod seriously.
Then leave.
It became routine.
Blood smell appears.
Bandaid is presented.
Bandaid is accepted.
Everyone moves on.
At least, everyone except Pierrot.
Because it made absolutely no sense.
A bandaid should have fixed it by now.
Months passed.
The blood kept returning.
The bandaids kept being offered.
The mystery remained unsolved.
Until one morning.
Pierrot froze halfway through making breakfast. His head snapped up.
Blood. Fresh blood.
His eyes widened.
"No."
He dropped everything.
The pan clattered onto the stove.
"P-Pierrot?"
He was across the room instantly.
"What happened?"
She blinked.
"What?"
"The blood."
His hands immediately began checking her arms.
Then her shoulders.
Then her face.
"Where is it?"
"What are you talking about?"
"The bleeding."
His voice was getting higher with panic.
"You are bleeding."
She stared. "Pierrot—"
"I can smell it."
He sounded genuinely distressed.
"You are bleeding."
His hands moved to inspect her again. More carefully this time. Looking for cuts, Scratches, Bites, anything.
"Where is the wound?"
Pierrot looked ready to cry.
His shoulders slumped and his eyes were huge.
"That is how blood works."
She finally put a hand over her mouth.
Trying not to laugh.
He looked so serious.
So worried.
So utterly lost.
"Pfft—"
His expression immediately soured.
"Do not laugh."
That only made it worse.
She laughed harder.
Pierrot crossed his arms.
"I am worried."
"I know."
"You are bleeding."
"I know."
"Then why are you laughing?"
She finally managed to calm herself enough to speak.
"I'm on my period."
The words clearly meant absolutely nothing to him.
"A what?"
"A period."
He continued staring.
"...What is a period?"
Now it was her turn to blink.
"Wait."
Pierrot frowned.
"What?"
"You don't know what a period is?"
His confusion deepened.
"No."
"Oh."
She suddenly understood everything.The bandaids.
The concern.
The monthly investigations.
She finally took pity on him.
"Okay. A period is when women bleed."
Pierrot nodded slowly.
Following along.
"So there is a wound."
"No."
"No?"
"No."
His confusion returned instantly.
"Then where does the blood come from?"
"..."
"Where?"
"...My vagina."
The room somehow became quieter.
His eyes widened.
Then widened further.
Then somehow widened even more.
"Your what?"
"My vagina."
Pierrot looked horrified.
Absolutely horrified.
Women...Bled...From there?
"Oh."His voice was tiny.
"Oh, God."
She immediately started laughing again.
Pierrot wasn't listening anymore.
His entire worldview had just shattered.
"Every month?"
"Yep."
He sat down.
Slowly.
"What kind of cruel design is that?"
She snorted.
"I don't know."
He buried his face in his hands.
Then another thought struck him.
His head immediately shot up.
"Does it hurt?"
She shrugged.
"Not really."
Relief flooded his face.
Then she continued.
"The bleeding doesn't."
His relief vanished.
"The cramps do."
Pierrot's expression darkened.
"The what?"
"Cramps."
"What are cramps?"
She pointed vaguely at her stomach."Feels like my organs are trying to kill me sometimes."
Pierrot stared at her.
Then slowly looked toward the ceiling.
As if searching for whoever designed humanity.
He looked deeply disappointed in them.
"That is stupid."
She laughed.
"A lot of women agree with you."
"It is extremely stupid."
He stood abruptly.
Determination replacing panic.
She immediately recognized that look.
"Pierrot."
"What?"
"Don't."
"I have not done anything."
"You're planning something."
"I am not."
"You are."
"I am merely going to acquire things. "
His expression became deadly serious.
"Blankets."
She sighed.
"Babe—"
"Tea."
"Love-."
"Medicine."
"Pierrot."
"Perhaps soup."
She groaned.
Meanwhile Pierrot was already moving toward the door.
Muttering to himself.
Still horrified.
Still offended on behalf of every woman in existence.
"Every month," he whispered.
Shaking his head.
"That is ridiculous."
-----------
Naturally, there was only one thing to do.
Research....
The computer glowed ominously in the dim living room.
Pierrot sat in front of it with the intensity of a scholar deciphering an ancient prophecy.
Technology was...Confusing.
Very confusing.
His claw hovered uncertainly above the keyboard.
"..."
One tap.
"H."
He squinted.
Another tap.
"O."
"..."
Backspace.
Wrong letter.
Growling quietly under his breath, he continued pecking at the keyboard one painfully slow key at a time.
He leaned back.
"P...period."
Success.
The search results exploded across the screen.
His eyes widened. There were... hundreds. Thousands.
He clicked the first one.
Then another.
His face cycled through every emotion imaginable.
"...Cramps can be severe..."
His brow furrowed.
"...Fatigue..."
He frowned harder.
"...Mood swings..."
His horns drooped.
"...Iron loss..."
He sat up straighter.
Iron.
She loses blood. Blood contains iron. She needs more iron.
She'd been doing this...Alone...Before she met him.
The thought made something ache inside his chest.
He hated it.
He hated imagining her curled up somewhere hurting without someone there to take care of her.
"...No."
He quietly folded the paper.
"Not anymore."
-------
By the time she returned from work, the apartment smelled incredible.
She blinked as soon as she stepped inside.
"...Pierrot?"
He poked his head around the corner. His eyes immediately lit up.
"You're home.
She smiled, then she noticed...
"...Are you wearing an apron?"
Pierrot looked down.
"...Perhaps."
It looked almost comically domestic on someone as monstrous as him.
He'd somehow managed to get flour across one cheek.
She covered her mouth to hide a grin.
"It suits you."
His ears twitched happily.
"I cooked."
"You... cooked?"
"I researched."
"...Should I be worried?"
"No."
He sounded almost offended.
"I followed instructions precisely."
He ushered her toward the dining room with surprising confidence.
The table was covered with food.
She stared.
"...Pierrot."
"I read that iron is important."
"You..."
"I also prepared a bath."
She looked back at him.
He looked so...Proud.
Like a child presenting a drawing to their parent.
She crossed the room and wrapped both arms around him.
Pierrot immediately melted.
His arms carefully circled her waist.
"...Did I do well?"
She buried her face against his chest.
"You did amazing."
He practically purred
-------
The bath had been perfect.
Warm.
Relaxing.
Comfortable.
Though...She couldn't help noticing Pierrot pacing outside the bathroom door every few minutes.
"You okay?"
"...Yes."
"...Are you hovering?"
"No.....I am guarding."
She laughed.
"I don't need guarding while I bathe."
"...You are vulnerable."
"I'm fine."
"..."
"..."
"...May I come in?"
She snorted.
"No."
"...Why?"
She laughed harder.
"Because I want five minutes to myself"
"...Very well."
She could practically hear the pout in his footsteps as he wandered away
....
She emerged from the bathroom...
Only to find Pierrot waiting with a bowl.
"...Open."
She laughed.
"Really?"
"You require nutrients."
"I'm capable of feeding myself."
"I know."
"..."
"...Open."
She rolled her eyes.
"...Fine."
He smiled.
The spoon carefully lifted toward her lips.
"There."
She accepted the bite.
He watched with intense concentration until she swallowed.
"Good."
Another spoonful.
"So..."
His voice was gentle.
"...How was work?"
She smiled.
"It was normal."
He continued feeding her between conversations, occasionally reminding her to drink her tea.
Every tiny thing she'd mentioned during his research...He was following. Exactly. Without missing a step.
By the end of dinner...She'd never felt more cared for in her life....
"Lay down."
She looked over her shoulder.
"Hm?"
"On your stomach."
"...Why?"
"I researched."
She laughed then flopped dramatically onto the bed.
Pierrot climbed on beside her.
His large hands hovered uncertainly above her lower back.
"...If this hurts...Tell me immediately."
"I will."
He pressed gently.
She let out a quiet sigh.
"...Oh."
His ears perked.
"Good?"
"...Really good."
Relief washed over him.
Slowly...Carefully...His thumbs worked across the tense muscles in her back.
He wasn't rushing.
He could actually feel the tension slowly melting beneath his hands.
"There..."
He murmured quietly.
"Relax."
She practically melted into the mattress.
"...You're unfairly good at this."
"I researched."
She laughed into the pillow.
"I can tell."
He smiled to himself.
Research was wonderful. Research made her happy.
He approved of research.
When he'd finished, she rolled onto her back with a sleepy little yawn.
Pierrot immediately climbed into bed beside her.
Without a word...She curled against him.
Like she'd done a thousand times before.
His arms surrounded her instinctively.
One hand settled gently over her lower stomach.
Remembering another article...He rubbed slow, careful circles through the fabric of her shirt.
"...Better?"
"Mhm..."
"So this helps?"
"...Mhm..."
He felt ridiculously accomplished.
His chin rested lightly against the top of her head.
"...I have made a decision."
Her eyes remained closed.
"...Mm?"
"I will do this every month."
She smiled sleepily.
"You don't have to."
"I do."
She laughed quietly.
His hand never stopped those slow circles across her stomach.
After a long moment, he spoke again.
"...Actually..."
"Hm?"
"I could also do these things when you are not bleeding."
She opened one eye.
"Oh?"
"I can cook. I can prepare baths. I can massage your back. I can cuddle you."
"Hmm."
"...Daily."
She finally looked up at him.
"...You just want an excuse to pamper me."
He blinked innocently.
"...Perhaps."
She rolled her eyes.
"I knew it."
He kissed the top of her head with surprising tenderness.
"I simply enjoy caring for you."
His voice had grown so quiet she almost missed it.
"...It makes me happy."
She looked up at him.
He wasn't embarrassed. He wasn't teasing. He meant every word. He loved taking care of her.
Not because he thought she couldn't care for herself
...But because every act of service was another way of saying what he still struggled to put into words.
I love you.
I worry about you.
I want you comfortable.
I want you safe.
I want you smiling.
She reached up and gently cupped his cheek.
"...I love you too."
Pierrot's heart nearly stopped.
He leaned into her touch without thinking.
"...Good."
He whispered it almost shyly.
"...Because I intend to keep spoiling you."
She laughed softly.
"I figured."
His tail curled happily around her legs beneath the blankets as she drifted off to sleep, one hand still rubbing gentle circles over her stomach while the other held her securely against his chest.
He listened to her breathing even out.
Only then did he allow himself to relax.
Next month, he'd be ready.
No more suffering alone.
Not while she had him.

In which GN!Reader forgets their wedding ring at home after they had a large argument with their husband, Riddle/Ace/Leona/Azul/Rielle, leading to a big misunderstanding.
Hurt/Comfort. The men grovel: need I say more? Established relationship/marriage. Gender-neutral!Reader.
Can I request the all the housewarden (+ace and deuce) with yuu who is the definition of "trust me bro".
Like yuu is sharing the most ridiculous plan and ended up 100% successful. Every plan they do is flawlessly executed wkdkkekd.
It can be a plan to stop an overblot or something, you decide for the scenarios or just reactions kskdk
(content warning: malleus breakdances)
Riddle Rosehearts — “The Flamingo Stampede Strategy”
Riddle: “Yuu, we’re going to be disqualified. This isn’t regulation—”
Yuu: “Trust me, bro.”
Riddle watched in horror as you lured Heartslabyul’s enchanted flamingos out of their pens and into the obstacle course race. The birds charged like a pastel cavalry, knocking over every other team’s contestants while Yuu rode one like a polo horse.
Yuu crosses the finish line victorious, absolutely unbothered. Riddle has an aneurysm on the spot… but also holds up the trophy anyway.
Riddle (internally): This is illegal. This is immoral. This is genius.
Leona Kingscholar — “The Sleepy Bluff”
Leona: “This is a serious match, herbivore.”
Yuu: “Exactly. So let’s pretend I’m dead.”
Leona nearly walked off when Yuu laid motionless in the middle of the Spell Arena. The other team surrounded them, confused. Just then—WHAM! A surprise trap spell exploded under their feet, launching them out of bounds.
Yuu sat up with a yawn and dusted off their robe. “Told ya. Trust me, bro.”
Leona stared. “You’re insane. I like it.”
Azul Ashengrotto — “The Legal Loophole Heist”
Azul: “There is no way we can beat that merchant’s prices—”
Yuu: “Unless we find a clause in his contract that voids the entire deal.”
Azul blinked. “...That might actually work?”
Ten minutes later, Yuu stood at the merchant’s stall, calmly citing ancient maritime trading law from a scroll they “borrowed” from the library. The merchant turned red, sputtered, and fled.
Azul looked at Yuu with reverent horror.
Azul: “Would you like a part-time position at the Lounge? I’ll pay double.”
Kalim Al-Asim — “Operation Elephant Drop”
Kalim: “We need to get the fireworks to the roof fast, but the stairs are blocked!”
Yuu: “...Have you ever heard of rooftop pachyderm transport?”
Later, Kalim is screaming joyfully on top of a magic carpet… dragging a heavily enchanted elephant balloon full of fireworks, piloted by Yuu, who is directing it like a seasoned festival general.
The fireworks launch perfectly from the elephant’s trunk. The crowd cheers. Kalim hugs Yuu.
Kalim: “That was the coolest thing EVER! How did you even—?”
Yuu: “Trust me, bro.”
Vil Schoenheit — “Sabotage by Sparkle”
Vil: “We’re competing in a runway show. Do not embarrass me.”
Yuu: “So I replaced our rival’s setting spray with glitter glue.”
Vil: “YOU WHAT.”
During the show, the rival model walks out—only to freeze mid-pose as their face sparkles uncontrollably under the lights. Their makeup clumps and flakes. The judges gasp.
Vil steps onto the runway next. Untouchable. Radiant. Victorious.
He glares at Yuu backstage.
Vil: “...I cannot condone this.”
Yuu: “But?”
Vil: “…You have terrifying instincts.”
Idia Shroud — “Tetris Takedown”
Idia: “This raid boss has a 0.4% clear rate. We’ll never—”
Yuu: “I rearranged the dungeon tiles so it traps the boss AI in a loop.”
Idia: “That’s cheating!”
Yuu: “It’s creative problem solving.”
You and Idia watch the screen as the terrifying flame serpent glitches into the wall and starts spinning endlessly.
Malleus Draconia — “Dragon Dance Deterrent”
Malleus: “This mage’s duel is serious. Are you sure this will work?”
Yuu: “Malleus. Trust me, bro. Start dancing.”
You play a ridiculous beat on a speaker. Malleus, ancient and dignified, starts breakdancing in front of the challenger.
The opponent is so horrified and confused that they forfeit on the spot.
Malleus dusts himself off. “...I do not understand mortal tactics.”
Yuu, grinning: “But it worked, didn’t it?”
Ace Trappola — “Reverse Uno Bomb”
Ace: “We’re not gonna win the card tourney like this.”
Yuu: “We play Uno cards in a poker tournament.”
Ace: “...You are the worst and best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
They slam down a Reverse and then a Draw 4 in the final hand. Their opponent short-circuits from confusion. The judges allow it, citing no rule against using enchanted Uno cards.
Ace cackles. “TRUST ME BROOOO!”
Yuu: “That’s my line.”
Deuce Spade — “Make it Explode”
Deuce: “We need a distraction. Just a small one.”
Yuu: “I rigged the vending machine to explode Mentos and cola on command.”
Deuce: “...WHAT.”
They press a rune. The vending machine detonates in a sugar bomb. Everyone runs.
Deuce: “We’re gonna get expelled—”
Yuu: “But we got the key, didn’t we?”
Deuce: “…I fear you. But I trust you.”
