I'm so excited to share that I'm going to be vendoring at Anime Kingston and Pretty Heroes, this july!! 💜🎉
Anime Kingston takes place on July 5th from 10-3, and Pretty Heroes takes place on July 18th and 19th!
I'm working on lots of new merch to bring to both of these cons! Here's a sneak peek at some of the new things I'll have at my booth! I'll have a full catalog closer to the events, tragically my printer has decided now is a GREAT time to break (!!) so I'm not 100% sure what my full catalog will look like, yet. Hello October!!! 🎃 I'm so excited to share that I'm doing drawtober this year!!! I love the prompts so much and I had so much fun with the first one already! (You can find them on Instagram at @/drawtober !)
I apologize in advance but I'm gonna ramble a bit here! For this drawtober I have a few personal goals:
- I want to get back into drawing frequently, but keeping it lower stress. In the past I've really burnt out on daily drawings so I'm aiming to keep these drawings light, and keeping a healthy balance on detail.
- The main goal here is to get to drawing again; inking and colouring traditionally again (this was done with markers!), and practicing those skills.
- Another goal of mine is to really push into the whimsy, keeping these drawings really magical and sometimes silly! (Fitting with the theme!)
So that's how I came up with this little mechanical owl!! I knew I wanted a bird to be the messenger, I wanted a little mailman bird, and the idea for him to be robotic was heavily inspired by one of DND campaigns, where @picbypaige has a robot owl named Albert! So Albert was a huge inspiration here!! 🧡

(I made this specificially to be a charm/sticker/button at conventions but someone requested I sell it as a print too, so this is available as a print at future conventions and markets!! 💜)
So here’s the funny thing. I got to table at Dashcon2, and before applying I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what the OG con was. But omg this con was one of the best ones that I’ve done artist alley at, the con staff were amazing, the artists and attendees were so so nice that it made the whole experience ten times better than what I was expecting! I really hope they do it again next year and that I get to be apart of artist alley again!
YES!! we had such a wonderful experience. Literally, the staff were checking in on us so often, and we're so sweet, it was amazing!
I've been to cons that had a bigger name behind them that I haven't been able to get a hold of a staff member once, and at Dashcon 2 we had frequent check ins. Everything felt very taken-care-of.
That, and like Paige said, everyone was so lovely!! I had such a kind and sweet experience with literally every person I spoke with. The vibes were lovely, it made me tear up a few times! This celebration of fandom culture made me feel like it felt attending cons when I was 14, again. ❤️

Finally finished! This is an illustration of the whole party of the dnd campaign that I have been running for almost 4 years now, named Polychromia!
My players know that this campaign is my baby, tilriven is a place that I really pour so much creativity and love into. I can't explain how much this game has changed my life and how much I love these nerds! ❤️💕 this campaign, this world, its story, and this artwork, are a love letter to my friends!
