It’s been several peaceful months. Laughter can be heard in the days of late summer slowly turning to fall, many creators excited for the events to come. Rumors of a tournament run high, a festival is in full swing, and all is well.
Or at least, it was until something shot down from the sky and crashed into the center of the town square, along with a shout that was almost unidentifiable. A large cloud of smoke bloomed from it, hiding a vast majority of the area in the smoke. It looked like it wasn’t going to dissipate any time soon, either…
Lily, hey uh, listen, How hard would you say Lillie and Lily is hard to stop if they go rouge?
Uhhh, it depends.
For Lillie, it depends on whether or not she has her gun.
If she does, good luck. If she doesn’t, you’re okay, but you’ll probably get bodyslammed. But truth be told you don’t need to worry about Lillie going rogue. She’s not the type.
Lily however, it depends on her emotional stability.
Cause you’ve seen Lily on her absolute lowest (foggyvent), she’s pretty unstable. She doesn’t really have much control over her abilities and things can get out of control in that situation really quickly.
If she’s more emotionally stable, the easier it is.
Basically:
Lillie - Get her gun away from her and find a way to incapacitate her and you’ll be fine.
Lily - Find a way to calm her down and you’re chill.
She felt numb. The distant sound of music playing softly in the background as she stood unmoving. She watches as she moves around the room, blissfully unaware of her presence. She should be mad, but when she tries to gather the energy to be angry, she only finds herself empty handed.
How long has it been? How much time had passed? She stopped counting after 458 days, 10 hours and 15 seconds. Her past self had realized that there was no point in counting anymore. She was stuck here forever after all.
She was doomed to watch her captor everyday. She watches her every movement of the day. If she was given an option, she wouldn’t be doing this to herself. But she had no choice. Everyday was torture, watching her laugh, smile and even cry. She hated her, but she found no energy left in herself to really care.
When she first realized her situation, she laughed. Saying that this was nothing more than a nightmare, a bad dream. Foolish optimism fueled her to keep trying, get people’s attention. But no matter how hard she tried, they saw through her.
It was almost as if she was a ghost. But she knew better than that. She wasn’t dead. She knows she’s not dead. But why does it feel like it?
When her foolish past self finally came to terms with their situation, she was furious.
She had screamed, insulted and attempted to fight her captor. She yelled out all the insults she knew, her balled fists hitting her captor. She had tried so hard to get her voice be heard. Her efforts were for naught, she remained unaffected. Her fists only phasing through her body.
Well, her efforts weren’t completely for nothing. /She/ heard her. The discovery was completely by accident.
“I HATE YOU!” She screamed at her captor who was currently huddled in bundles of blankets. She didn’t deserve that. “YOU DID THIS TO ME! I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!” She continued, never stopping. A few months ago she would have stopped for brief breaths of air, but now she knew enough to know that that was unnecessary.
“I TRUSTED YOU!” Her voice cracked near the end, the tears she was trying so hard to hold back slowly starting to fall. “I-I trusted you..” She started crying, her frustrated tears freely falling now.
“Why can’t you hear me?” She whispered with a pained voice. Sadness replaced her previous fury. Her words were reciprocated with silence, and her anger came rushing back in tenfold.
“I’M HERE!” She yelled, her voice cracking once more. “DON’T YOU REMEMBER ME?!” And she kept yelling, the tears of both frustration and sadness falling faster.
“MY NAME IS-“
And it was then, when it happened.
“Is anyone there?” Her captor whispered, cutting off her sentence. Both of them were plunged into silence. It lasted only a few seconds, but those mere seconds felt like hours. She broke into pained wails.
No one else except her captor could hear her. But even then, the moments where her captor could hear her were rare. Only lasting up to a few minutes at best.
It was cruel, her situation. But she no longer found the energy to care. Not anymore. She watched everything pass before her in silence. She listened to their conversations, unable to participate. She watches her captor live a life that she doesn’t deserve.
She wonders if someone out there was enjoying this. Watching her be in pain. She hates it. She hates it so much.
Sometimes, late at night while her captor sleeps. She asks the silence what she’d done to deserve this. What actions she’s committed to warrant the punishment that is her situation.
She wonders what she did to be able to live life naively.
In the end, it doesn’t matter. She’s given up and she was tired. So, so tired. She was tired of watching, of listening, of being angry.
So she lets herself fade into the background. Willingly accepting the life she suffers through.
She will live through this eternal nightmare, and she will never be waken up.
This was honestly a terrible way to start the week. It's only been a few hours since it was deemed safe to return to their homes, and Jay was still not taking the fog-related incident well at all.Instead, she's been a literal jittery mess. And it only got worse as it got closer to the time she was usually asleep.
Jay tried to fall asleep multiple times, but she would either accidentally roll on her sprained wrist or she would have some extremely violent nightmares, which would end with her darting into the bathroom to cough up the black liquid that Mimic would force into her system.
She could not sleep at all, hence she just roamed around her house.
Sighing, she picked up her phone and called Rawlyx.
Rawlyx grabbed the buzzing phone, currently playing Megalovania, as that was her ringtone, out of her back pocket and looked to see who was calling her this late. Not that she minded, she was usually awake and alert at this time anyways. The phone screen was displaying Jay’s name at the top with a blank profile picture as Rawlyx hadn’t assigned one to the contact yet. tapping the accept call button she held the phone up to her ear.
“Eyyyy Jay wassup! Thought you might’ve been asleep by now, it’s kinda late.”
“Oh yeah sure! But... not gonna lie I kinda live in a tree? So if you want to come sleep on a small wooden platform you can but not sure I would recommend. Only got one hammock and the hard wood isn’t very comfy. Maybe Moon or Lily is still up! I’m sure they wouldn’t mind us coming over. we could do kinda like a sleepover thing!”
Lily was previously doubting her life choices as usual. She was staring at the ceiling of her bedroom as she laid on her floor. Her room was a mess, always, the board she used to spend all her time theorizing on was dusting on the wall.
Her existential crisis was halted however by a phone call. Seeing as it was from Jay, Lily hesitantly answered.
“Hello..?” Her voice was a little scratchy from hours of disuse, but Lily was used to it.

The ground below everyone rocked- shaking below them. Shandy, who had been in the security room, had rammed into a desk as all of the screens turned to static. After a few seconds, the screens showed an image. Familiar to some, new to others.
“Greetings.” They spoke, their purple-speckled-grey eyes staring through the screens. “You have a fog problem. I have a solution.”
“Mori...” Shandy grunted as she pushed herself up from the desk, an arm around her side where the desk had been jammed in. Stars, she had hoped this wouldn’t be true.
“You want it to be gone?” Mori asked, tossing a slim vial up and down in the air. “I can do that. You just need to give me some... documents.”
Shandy pressed down a button to the speaker system.
“What kind?”
“You know.” They replied. “I’d be quick if I were you. Every second you stall, another blockhead is summoned. And it would be... such a shame if they were to destroy everything you worked hard for. Leave the paperwork it at the southwest end of the city. I’ll know if you’ve tricked me.” The screens shut off and returned to normal.
Shandy sagged against the desk, trying to remember where the specific paperwork was when another tremor rattled the ground. She yelped and was tossed backwards, her head thudding on the floor.
“Stars destroy-it.” She cursed as her wing throbbed. Of course... she didn’t know what else she was expecting.
“Sing to me, my darling. Let your song lull me to the earthen ground.”
The singing lulled Lily into a state of Peace, the strings tied to her limbs loosening.
“Let the song of willows, lull the world below us renowned.”
The voice was familiar and soothing. It gave a strange sense of nostalgia to Lily.
“When the time comes and the cleavers, start to slice us down.”
The figure started to disappear into the darkness, leaving Lily alone in the dark.
“Lull us to the earthen ground...”
The singing stopped, and Lily was left alone in the silent dark.
“Wake...u..p”
Lily woke up to the shaking of the ground and the loud speakers of the council building. She turned to her right and saw Lillie on her phone, uncaring of the announcement that just came from the speakers.
She turned to the others in the room, and hesitantly walked over to wake them up.
( @creatorverse-moon @gremlinjay idk if I have to tag rawlyx but I’m doing it anyways! @creatorverse-rawlyx )
Jay bounced off the couch, falling onto the floor and finally waking up."Owwww!Fuck! That was my wrist!"Jay whimpered as she struggled to get up."The hell's goin' on?".
They let out a little yawn as they start waking up, they sat up once they realized that the ground was shaking. They reached up their own face to check if their face has any new small cracks, it did but nothing too converning. They look over at Lily and Jay with a blank expression since they just woke up “fog and now earthquake, pretty eventful recently huh? ” they say, looking at the two.
“I’m not sure if it’s an earth quake... the speakers said something about documents..” Lily was unsure herself, she had just woken up after all.
“Uh, something something. Some guy’s summoning blockheads, yada yada. Whatever.” Lillie spoke up from behind them, surprisingly careless of the situation.
Moon looked over at Lille, pushing the hair out of their face since their hair was down as of right now still. “Any idea who this guy is? If so, who are they?” They asked, curious to know who caused this situation. They thought it could of been those cloaked figures, but they wanted to ask just to make sure.
Moon noticed this, sighing, jumping out of the couch and looking at Lily and the others “ya’ll have fun with whatever will happen kids” Moon says to the others before they follow behind Jay, both curious and worried about why Jay had to go. They hid behind a potted plant to spy on Jay for anything they’re saying.

A sound echoes on the emergency speaker system that covers all of Creatorverse.
“A-Attention all- all Creatorversians.” Shandy’s voice came from the speakers. “Do not go out into the fog. R-Repeat, do NOT g-o out into the fog. If you h-have to, p-put on a medical face mask, a-a scarf works, too- a-and then you can leave. A-Anyone who’s lost in the fog w-will be found shortly and brought to the council building where I am now. If- I-I suppose if you w-want to you can- c-can come over and try to help I-if you want, j-just stay protected. We are working on this as fast as possible. Ah- sorry, I-I’m probably making this l-longer than it needs to be. Just- stay indoors. Please.”
Jay ended up getting lost, thanks to her crappy vision. To make things worse....
Her face mask broke...
Hence Jay was curled up into a tiny ball in an alley, sobbing as she hugged her knees. She was here for about two to three hours. Two Mimics were taunting her, while she was hearing continuous shouting her way."Someone..... p-please.....h-h-help!"Jay choked out, nearly screaming at the top of her lungs.
Moon was the first to notice that Jay was no longer in their group “Seems Jay went somewhere.” They say looking at the dense fog, walking away from Rawlyx and Lily without a goodbye nor sign they were leaving. They looked around for Jay but it was somewhat hard to see with their mask. “Gah- where is Ja-“ they paused when they heard the screaming. They start running through the fog, over to the source of the screams of anguish. They stip once nearby the miserable being and realized it was Jay, they knelt down to Jay’s level “oh dear-“ They say looking down at them, also noticing the lack of a mask. (( @creatorverse-lily @gremlinjay @creatorverse-rawlyx ))
Jay was an absolute whimpering mess, nearly flinching at the familiar voice. "M-m-make the screaming s-stop p-l-lease" she stammered, fondling to cover her ears as her eyes were squeezed shut, black tar-like liquid dripping from her eyes and mouth.
Noticing Moon had wandered away from the group, Rawlyx followed her to find a sobbing Jay on the ground, a broken mask by her.
Rawlyx’s create button appeared and she used it to create a mask for Jay, gently placing it over Jay’s mouth. When the effects didn’t immediately stop she knelt down beside Jay and tried to calm her down.
“Hey, Hey Jay it’s alright. Look at me. Don’t focus on the screaming focus on my voice. It will stop soon I promise.”
A very tiny whimper left Jay as she slowly opened her eyes, trying her best to concentrate on Rawlyx's voice instead of the constant shouting. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she tried to take a few shaky breaths.
They slowly walk over to Jay and looked down at them while Rawlyx helped out “oh dear.. perhaps you should stay at the council building, would be much safer for your mindset there.” They seem to be mildly annoyed at the fact Jay somehow got their mask off, but they still tried to sound as considerate as they can to help ease Jay down.
"....Okay....."Jay quietly mumbled, wiping at her jaw in an attempt to get rid of the liquid. This was already a crappy day with Mimic being a prick, but getting lost and hiding and crying like a baby made it even worse."Where is the council building again?...."
“Haha- I honestly don’t remember either-“ a sheepish grin as they chuckle a bit. Looking away from Jay they glance over at Rawlyx direction. Noticing that someone was missing from their group. “Geeze, why is it so easy for this group to split up.. anyways, we stick together and try go to the council building while finding Lily” before anyone has the chance to say anything, Moon suddnly untied a rope out of their hair which helped tie their hair up into that crooked shape. They proceed to wrap around and tie their wrist with the rope “you both should wrap it around as well, better to stay toed together ey?.” Moon says, reaching the arm out towards the two as the excess rope dangles down from their arm.
Jay nodded, proceeding to tie some rope around her wrist. She was now grateful she had her hoodie on.
She noticed a "spider" approaching her, nearly having a heart attack. However, remembering what Moon said earlier, she lifted up her foot, before stomping where the creepy bastard was. With a sigh of relief, she looked back to Moon, giving a determined nod.The sooner they got the building, the better....
A smirk was plastered on their face when seeing Jay stomp on the spider, not saying a word about it though. They would then grip on to Rawlyx wrist, with or without their consent, they tied their wrist up anyway. Moon then stood up and looked at the two “alright! Time to find Lily and go to the council building wherever it is!” Moon exclaims loudly. The dense foggy weather was honestly their favorite kind of wether, no surprise there when they seem so happy to actually be in it.
It took Lily 15 minutes to realize that she was alone.
“G...guys?”
Lily called out weakly into the white fog that surrounded her. When no one answered, she called out again.
“Guys... please?” She was looking around frantically now. “This isn’t funny...” She span around in place, eventually losing her innitial orientation in panic. Slowly, panic started to overcome her.
This is why you shouldn’t trust anyone.
Before long, the goopy hole that she had called her face started overflowing, and the mask she wore started filling with goop.
Breathe
The remaining rational part of herself told her. But as Lily tried, she realized
She couldn’t breathe.
Panic fully overcame her and drowned her as she drowned in her own goop. With all her rationality thrown out the window, she unclasped her mask. She took in deep breaths, but it only seemed to backfire.
“I trusted you.”
A familiar yet unrecognizable voice called from behind her and she snapped her head towards the voice. There stood a young girl, her facial features were blurred. But one thing was sure though, the child was staring at her. The girl wore a dress, the color was too washed out to know what color it was. The girl took a step closer.
“You left me.”
She spoke again, this time taking a step closer to Lily. The aura of panic intensified, and she felt frozen in place. The girl only continued walking towards her. Despite how many steps the girl had taken, she was still far away.
“Why?”
“I...I don’t even know who you are-”
Lily managed to get out despite her petrified state. The girl stared in reply, it felt blank. As if there was hidden anger in the girl, she spoke again.
“And whose to blame for that?”
Quickly, the scene changed and Lily found herself in a hospital-esque room. There was an empty hospital bed, it was neat and made. Stuffed animals laid beside the bed and on the floor. A heart monitor stood beside the bed as well, it was flatlining. A constant beep filled the room, and before long the scene changed again.
Lily still stood frozen in the hospital room, but this time the room itself was bloody. The empty bed was now unmade and messy and its sheets were stained with purple blood. The plushies were stained in blood as well, the heart monitor was unplugged now.
“You did this.”
Lily managed to face the voice and was met with the girl.
“You did this.”
“Wh..what?”
Lily asked, but the girl ignored her.
“YOU DID THIS.”
The girl morphed into something. It had piercing purple eyes and a slitted smile. It held a scythe on one hand, while the other pointed at her. A cacophony of voices echoed in the dark room. They were a garbled mess, and in the end Lily only registered one sentence.
“I trusted you.”
Lily broke down, and cries left from her. Goop started falling from her face in a rapid pace forming a puddle as she cried. The figure stood with its sickening smile.
Rawlyx had been spacing out but snapped back when Moon tied her wrist up in the rope. Having registered a bit of the conversation she knew some of what they were doing. “Yeah... yeah we should go find Lily! And if I remember correctly I think the council building is that way from here.” She said, pointing east. “Hopefully Lily isn’t too far away, and hopefully she’s alright.”
“Alright, thanks Rawlyx, and let’s get going before we completely lose our way from this fog. As nice as it is, it’s not going to be your definition of fun” they start heading east as Rawlyx said.
Noticing Jay nearly fall, they merely tug the rope a bit to sign the others that they’re moving “Hey kid, would ya stay close? The rope ain’t that long you know”
They walked further into the fog, heading in the supposed direction of the council building. Soon enough Rawlyx could hear sobs coming through the fog. “L-Lily?” She tugged hard against the rope and forced everyone else toward the cries.
“...oh shit”
Lily was on the ground, crying, thick black goop falling from her... face hole thingy? There wasn’t a gasmask anywhere that she could see, so Rawlyx unclipped her own and put it over Lily’s face, not wanting to leave Lily susceptible to the fog anymore.
Rawlyx couldn’t seem to concentrate enough to use her create button for making herself another mask. The button floated beneath her hand for a moment before flickering out of existence.
Moon nods back at Jay before tagging along, they reach nearby Lily’s sad display of misery. Merely staring down at them with a somewhat worried expression, they reach into their sleeve, taking out an empty glass vial “wonder what’s in the fog to cause such reactions” they say, not noticing Rawlyx took their mask off as they gather much of the heavy mist into the vial.
Rawlyx hadn’t noticed Lily take off the gas mask Rawlyx had given to her. The effects of the fog had already started to set in. Her hands crept up to clasp her arms as her firm began to shake. Her emerald green eyes dilated down into trembling slits. looking incredibly tense and on edge she started frantically muttering to herself “no nononono they’re everywhere. No stop nonono stop watching me. stop watching me please please just come and face me. Stop stop stop STOP!”
Rawlyx spun around in circles, her eyes darting back and forth, her coal black scythe forming in her hands. The floating wings extending from her back were glowing brightly with panic. Her breathing was ragged and quick.
Jay looked between both of them, immediately being yanked when Rawlyx was starting to panic. She ended up hitting the ground. She was about to try and get up and help....
Then Mimic was starting to whisper into her ear
"You know this was your fault, right?~"
"You coulda stayed with them, but nope! You strayed like the worthless idiot you are!And.Here.We.Are!~"
Jay clutched herself, Mimic's words were knocking her down mentally. She tried to hold back the guilty tears, but would that work?!She could only watch as both Rawlyx and Lily were breaking down, only believing this was her fault.....
Moon took a look upon the individuals breakdown in front of them, sighing as they’re soon getting a bit annoyed at how all three of them broke down yet still a bit worried for them. “And I thought your breakdowns were bad..” Moon mumbled quietly to themselves. Closing the vial with the dense mist in it and putting it in their sleeve.
Moon slowly approached Lily and knelt down besides them, tugging Jay and Rawlyx along. Taking another rope out of their hair, completely putting their hair down to their shoulders. They soon tied up Lily’s wrist with the rope and bind it to the one that was on their wrist. They tied it up tightly, making sure the rope that binds them together was tied up nice and tight in case any of the three run away out of fear.
They soon reach up to grab their mask, planning to give take it off and give it to Rawlyx. They paused before reaching for the strap. Staying completely still for a solid minute. “Oh shut it ya cretin. I can handle this fog, besides, it’s pretty” they say to theirselves once more before taking their mask off, quickly strapping it onto Rawlyx face. Thinking their not going to be affected by the strange substance in the mist themselves, that was a mistake.
Rawlyx stopped Moon before they could put the mask back over her face. Her breathing was still ragged, but she didn’t quite seem like she was scared anymore. Her sharp eyes rose up to look at Moon, but instead of seeing her slightly concerned friend, she saw Moon staring at her with a wicked smile and a weapon in hand, pointed at her. Rawlyx gritted her teeth. She had known they’d turn against her eventually. She couldn’t trust anyone.
“don’t touch me” She growled at Moon, a fierce look now on her face. Rawlyx’s eyes met with theirs before her arm swung the scythe she was holding up to strike Moon.
They easily dodge the swing by jumping over to the side and helding on to Jay’s arm to get them out of the way as well, breathing in the toxic mist from instinct “Hey, Rawlyx! Geeze- watch where ya swing that thin-“ they pause once they saw something from behind Rawlyx. Taking a step backwards as their magenta colored eyes turned a tad bit dull, a scared yet angry expression on their face. Their left eye seems to secrete black goo, acting as tears and as blood..
By this time Rawlyx had ripped the string tied around her wrist off and launched into the air. She glided for a bit through the thick fog, and looked over at her outstretched wings. That’s when, through the mist’s effects, she watched as her wings shattered into a million tiny pieces, and she began to plummet back toward the ground. Fortunately she wasn’t too high off the ground but it still hurt quite a bit.
Her form started trembling again like earlier, her eyes clenched shut as she lay on the ground. She could feel that they were back. They were watching again. When her eyes cracked open she could see hundreds of eyes floating in the air, staring directly at her. She shut them again and crawled her way underneath a nearby bench, facing against a wall so she didn’t have to see all the staring eyes. That doesn’t mean she couldn’t feel their gazes among her back though, That uneasy feeling of being watched multiplied by ten.
Momentarily, Moon’s eyes glowed yellow. In a slight act using a sliver of sanity before the fears fully take over. They quickly untie their rope, unbinding theirselves from Jay. Their eyes flashed back to magenta as more black goo leak out of the crevices of their eyeball. Back to seeing those awful hallucinations again.. clutching on to the mask in hand tightly as the mist clearly disoriented their mind more than it was.
Lily barely registered anything happening anymore. Strings were wrapped around her limbs and a scythe was pointed straight at her neck. The figure was laughing at her and the garbled cacophony of voices were growing louder.
She was so tired.
The last thing she registered was a loud bang resounding through the room before passing out.
