Dawn’s teenage years are full of all the ups and downs that a normal teen experiences. 

Dawn comes home from school almost every other day in a mood. She usually will work through them by jogging around the city. 

Making friends isn’t exactly easy either. Being an introvert meant she liked her little circle of friends and that was good enough for her. She found herself gettting closer to Teddy, but just as friends. She wasn’t quite confident enough to make any more moves, despite how giddy he makes her at times.

The nice part about living in the city is that festivals just are in your backyard. So with the Humor and Hijinks Festival. I took it as a chance to just send the household to drink the potions for both sides to see who’d win. 

What I didn’t expect was Dawn to have a breath-taking encounter in the process. Which is surprising cause usually my Yellow gens usually only have the hots for aliens or no one at all. So obviously the two had to meet and get to know each other. 

Unfortunately though, his name is Reid. So I checked his family to see if I could give him an alternate name. His Father is named Toddy, so I though Teddy was an appropiate nickname for him. So he is now Reid Theodore “Teddy” Robinson, the grandson to Olive Tinker.

Reed put his political face on when he was getting to know his extend family. It was a little weird for him to have two siblings who were so much younger than him. But as a grand gesture to each of them, he asked if they’d be willing to be apart of his wedding as his Flower Pal and Ring Bearer.

He also was using it as an opportunity to talk with his nephews about keeping an eye on Dawn and support her as she headed into High School, much to Dawn’s dismay.

Speaking of birthdays. It was also Cedar and Dawn’s birthday too. Cedar was first and she aged up in the middle of Reed’s party as well. Garnering her special pets and smooches for the old girl.

Dawn, on the other hand, wasn’t nearly as thrilled about sharing her birthday with everyone else. So in the wee hours of the night after everyone had gone home and went to bed, Dawn pulled out her Dad’s leftover cake and celebrated a quiet birthday on her own. 

Because she was in high school now, Dawn decided it was probably best if she went to public high school like other students. There was only so much she could teach herself without Grandma Everleigh around. So she gather up all her knowledge of fashion, which wasn’t much, and put together a look just for high school.

Also I included all her cousin’s who also aged up that same day (minus Reginald).

Spring was now in the air and with it the snow was starting to melt.

Along with new years, comes new beginnings. And Sunday, Reed had his 60th birthday party. Family and friends from all over came to celebrate with Reed. 

Reed and Lauryn used it as an opportunity to share the big news regarding their engagement. Radcliff agreed to be their Officiant and Jaclyn was thrilled for her twin. 

There were some doubts to be had about going into his elder years, but Lauryn assured him that it changed nothing for her. 

And with that, Reed gathered his courage and stepped into the new stages of his life and became an old man. 

Happy Birthday Reed.

It was New Year’s Eve. 

And the Berry’s celebrated the old year ending. 

Reed thought he’d bring in the new year with his loved ones, but as soon as 12 am hit, they both disappeared and went straight to bed. Leaving him alone to celebrate with Cedar.

After proposing, Reed and Lauryn too the time to get nice and pampered like the King and Queen they are.

Afterwards (or should I say during), Lauryn got the notification graduation was about to begin. So she finished up her massage before hoping over to Foxbury for her celebration.

Losing his mother was tough on Reed, but it also made him realize there are still loved ones in his life. Most importantly his beautiful loving girlfriend who has been by his side just as much as he stood by her side. It was about time he secured his future with her. 

So to celebrate the end of her semester and her upcoming graduation, he put together a nice little spa get away for the two of them to get pampered. 

But he had an extra special plan as he also used this opportunity to take their relationship to the that next level as well. 

Obviously Lauryn was excited about the proposal. She was almost certain Reed wasn’t interested in undergoing the chaos that was his first wedding. 

But alas, these two lovebirds are not engaged to be married.

It was definitely a sad morning in the Berry household. Reed fortunately was at work when Everleigh passed, so he didn’t have to witness death, but that didn’t make his feeling any less. It just meant he didn’t have to deal with it until later.

Lauryn had to go take her finals having just witnessed something that she didn’t want to see. On top of her pre-test nerves, it’s not a good combination.

Dawn was having just as tough, if not even worse of a time dealing. Everleigh was her best friend and the one person in the family that she felt understood her. Add to her sadness and emotion, she had to undergo the torture of the dentist to get braces. 

Bonus: Random floating festival

It was Friday, the end of the week! Which means finals for Lauryn and school for Dawn.

Everleigh dropped by like usual before to help Dawn with her homework. She noticed that Lauryn was feeling a little queasy before her tests and was sweet enough to go clean the toilet. Little did we know that was the last thing she’d ever do.

Unfortunately she decided to go in the smallest room of the apartment, so it was a bit of a squeeze for everyone to mourn. 

RIP my beautiful Mint gen, Everleigh Berry. You will be missed.

Lauryn celebrated her birthday alone, and decided to celebrate it with a couple drinks. That obviously didn’t pan out well. 

After fighting so much with each other Dawn and Lauryn were hit with even more devastating news about Granny Camila’s passing. 

Reed was friendly with Camila, but wasn’t super close. So he celebrated her life with Cedar. Nothing beats man’s best friend.

Lauryn and Dawn didn’t have the best of relationships. Lauryn was a workaholic and Dawn resented her long hours.

So the moments they to have together usually put Dawn in a foul mood. She can’t even play a game of chess in peace with her mother without lashing out. It starts with one chess game and then it turns into a full blown arguement. 

Lauryn was already in a foul mood because of her daughter so when her cousin started being noisy next door, she went in with her on it. 

Cedar was being the good girl that she was to support Dawn when she was feeling a little down.

Can Dawn and Lauryn find a way to mend their relationship?

Now that Winterfest was over, back to school Dawn went. Which meant more time spent at grandma’s. 

Even though it was cloudy out, Everleigh spoke to Dawn about worlds beyond their own. She had been there, but only briefly.She even had some specimen’s that she brought back with her. Sadly she was never able to return. 

Dawn was in awe of her Grandma’s travels that maybe one day, she too could find this world.

Father Winter had other plans for the Berry household. Dawn got a Lots of Love Bear. Lauryn was good as well and got a makeup kit. 

Meanwhile, Reed got nothing but sadness. I guess he broke too many hearts. 

To make up for his bad behavior, he made sure that he tucked Dawn in that night. He may not be father of the year, but he wanted to give his little girl everything.

It was finally present time and chaos took over. 

Luckily the Berry’s had a good Christmas. Unfortunately Uncle Bernard got the prank gift that Everleigh likely had snuck in earlier.

Winterfest celebrations start with a movie and end with a meal. 

Reed and Lauryn invited all their siblings along with both of their mothers. Not everyone wanted to show up, but for the most part everyone made it.

It’s Winterfest time in the Berry Household, which means family time.

Reed woke up early to start the Winterfest Tofurkey since Mom is still a vegetarian. 

While they waited for family to arrive, Reed and Lauryn exchanged gifts with each other. 

Kiera started the aging up process for all the kids. And she aged up into a teen just before the holidays. Which means Dawn & her cousins were next.
