Ranting about izuku and bakugos fight until my head stops hurting.
Okay so I got vaccinated yesterday, and the side effects have been killing me today. Right now my head's aching, and it's got me mad as a hornet. So thought I do a little ranting about this particular scene that I have a real bone...actually scratch that, I god a whole skeleton to pick with this scene.
Just a note ahead that I might get a littled heated and hyberbolic because of my headache and also because I'm tryna to blow off some steam here.
And with that out of the way, sit back, grab your favorite snack, and watch as I tear this scene a shiny new asshole or two.
So, let's start out with the fact that bakugo coerced izuku into fighting him, there is no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Baku-toe-fungus has demonstrated repeatedly that violence is this sweaty bastard's primary language, "kacchan gets what kacchan wants" and if he doesn't he uses threats and violence to make sure he does. But really, what can you expect from an abusive narcissistic who lacks empathy, sees alturism as replusive, and tales pleasure in hurting other people?
Remember this detail, it'll be important later.
So throughout this fight, bakugo STILL misses the point of why he got captured. No nitro-for-brains, you didn't get captured because you "weren't strong enough" you got captured because you decided to run off into the forest alone, at night, to try and pick fights with dangerous criminals on your own even after lesrning that you were the person they're after like an absolute moron.
And then in the end, bakigo wins this stupid fight because horikoshi would sooner jump headfirst into a pit full of angry gila monsters than have his precious golden boy lose a damn fight for once in a million years.
And then all might decidesto go and comfort bakugo for some reason...
All might. Your protege is on the ground. Injured! What the hell are you doing?!
And then bakugo gets further rewarded by having all might spill the beans about the secret of one for all....
There must have been a gas leak or something because bakugo had no reason to know about ofa, in fact, he might just be the worst student to tell it to, because you know who just captured him a few arcs ago? Oh nobody, only the bebop's and rocksteady's of the madman whos been trying to gst his quirk-stealing hands on ofa for centuries!
And it's not lime bakugo contributes anything meaningful with his inclusion in the ofa discussion. All he does is insult the previous ofa holders and make the most punchable faces known to man
And then we cut to aizawa...bidning them roughly with his scarf...yeah who okayed this maniac to be a schoolteacher again? Oh that's right, total numbskulls!
Now remember what I said about bakugo coercing izuku? Aizawa never takes that into consideration, and just punishes the both of them.
And of course, izuku's so-called "friends" chastize him for this with even trying to hear him out, and of course the do it to izuku and izuku only.
My god izuku needs better friends.
This was honestly the scene that killed mha for me, that made me realize that bakugo was never going tk have to answer for his actions, and that there was far more abuser ass-kissing ahead, and that fhe story was completely down the toilet from here.
