“Oh, come on, just wear it! It looks cute!”
Once again, you attempted to wrap the scarf around your boyfriend’s neck–and once again, he ducked out of the way before you could accomplish your task. You had bought the bright, fluffy red scarf the moment you saw it in the market on your morning walk, thinking it would be adorable if you got Takumi to wear it–but the boy was simply far too stubborn, and it was getting to be a bit tired.Â
“Quit it, or I’ll bite. I mean it.”
Furrowing your brow, you unfortunately didn’t take his threat seriously–and you made one last push to get the present around his shoulders. If your reflexes were anywhere near his own, you might have been able to avoid the grab he made for your wrist–but by now your fate was sealed, as he tugged your arm up to his face, and sank his teeth into your skin.Â
“O-Ow-! You actually bit me?! T-That hurt, dummy!”
Thankfully it wasn’t quite hard enough to break skin, but it was still painful–and when you wrenched your hand away, you could see the small indents of his teeth that were already growing dark with bruises.Â
“…Hmph. You deserved it. Try that again, and I won’t be as gentle next time.”
Your cheeks flushed at his cool response, and gripping your sleeve, you hurriedly tugged it down to cover the suspicious marks that would no doubt garner some unwanted attention. If only he weren’t so blind, he might have seen how embarrassing it really was…
“…F-Fine. But next time you make a mark like that…put it somewhere no one will see, at least…”
“What do you mean by…o-oh. Oh. D-Duly noted..”
