The Morning After || crimson-bellflowers
Even though Tatsumaki wasn’t the pride of his family for being the smarter, he could sense there was something wrong, something that wasn’t being told to him and his hypothesis was confirmed once he moved away to speak to the maid, who seemed clearly shocked by something said to her; right after that, the boy wasn’t sure of anything anymore and a sense of panic began to make itself present within the walls of his chest, feeling a slight cleching feel around his heart.
“Ren.” A frown settled over his features, glancing around and back to the kitchen before fixing his gaze upon the bunny. “What’s going on? And I want the truth, I know something’s wrong.” At this point, not even himself noticed when he took a hold onto the white-haired’s forearm, slightly squeezing it out of confusion and concern.
Tatsumaki was more perceptive then Ren thought. The bunny bit his inner cheek lightly and looked up at him, his hand moving from his side to grip the other's hand located on his forearm, "I don't want to worry or trouble you over such trivial matters," the bunny said at first, gripping the man's hand a bit tighter and giving him a small smile.
Though he could see in Tatsumaki's eyes that the other wasn't going to just leave it at that, "But, if you insist then I guess I'll just have to tell you," he looked away an glanced out the nearest window, red eyes piercing as he looked into the garden, as if he was searching for something, or even glaring at something, "Earlier when we were in the kitchen, I saw someone out in the garden They were hiding in the big tree outside the kitchen and watching us. As you already know, this is private property and I don't appreciate intruders on my land... So I asked Aya to alert the guards and get the intruder off my land," he looked up at him and gave him his usual smile, "That's all it is."
Of course, he left out the part of the intruder being a demon, for obvious reasons. But he figured that that information was enough for Tatsumaki for now.
