Summer

everyday started from Midday sweet honey dew grass at dawn summer persimmons behind curtains old college fan blurring away the clock ticking out of battery or the tomatoes rotting in my fridge lost friendship and love on my wall my hands held nothing  so I gripped myself back to sleep God knows what day it is, not me with no reason to know anymore

Tearless

A writer is not a writer without words

as much as a bird is without wings

A completely different animal I’d be

with this journey I’m nearing an end

when everything beautiful about me

was the cries I sung with all my heart

what songbird am I even worth to

if I cannot even cry for what I destroyed

My wings just left me, should I say

Or my voice just left me, shall I point

It’s lost me in truth, much more

than you’ve lost me, and sadly

much worse I’ve lost— me.

Waiting

Holding back won’t do for tears

Forcing them out won’t lose

IRL: Summer 2017 Hawaii

I hate the summer  because I used to love it so much  it was the smell of freedom and spirit that was all released at once  with the sun and wind that didn’t feel cold  for once, I had time you were just one of those things just a seasonal find, a fruit that was going to rot but that mango I found on the street in Hawaii but that crosswalk I walked with your hand it was just a milisecond but it was like decades and centuries had waited for us to reunite like there was a whole another story behind us  that we just decided never to remember Neither of talked about each other  That last phone call ended my summer in mid August That last phone call ended my whole freaking life But that last phone call couldn’t end  my thoughts of you from last year

Respected is not the word

Holyness is gone from here

I’ve had sleepless nights like this

Had air seemed so solid before?

Or time with so much weight?

What was it that could be so different

Between seasons and new moons

The weather doesn’t even hurt me anymore

My chest is void afterall

Things that never meant to be

Is my mother’s first child

Me, and his life to ever meet again

Wishing that it didn’t have to be so void afterall
