Honestly one of my favorite things about Lightning is how sheâs just seemingly stopped giving any fucks about falâCie by the time we get to Gran Pulse. Each encounter is more amusing than the last.
Reach the Faultwarrens and initiate the cutscene with Titan. He goes on about how they should simply forfeit their lives to let the strong become stronger, and if Lightning is your party leader, she gives a rather defiant âWhy donât we let him see for himself whoâs weak?â
Now head on over to the Sulyya Springs. Lightning isnât even slightly rattled by Bismarckâs sudden appearance. âThey grow âem big here,â she says with all the nonchalance in the world, whereas her companions all react with varying levels of alarm.Â
Then, just as casually, she proceeds to formulate a battle plan: âIt should be clumsy out of the water. If we can get it to follow us onto dry landââ Bismarck promptly interrupts her by summoning monsters to fight in its stead. âOkay, guess thatâs not happening.â
Soon after, you reach the Palisades and see Dahaka flying around. Lightning has exactly one thing to say during that cutscene and itâs just âWhatâs another falâCie at this point, huh?â If she isnât your party leader, sheâll throw in a âNo worriesâ afterward.
