BRIDGERTON 4.06 "The Passing Winter"
OBSESSED with this look
My viscountess!!!
Lemme preface this with this: please call me out if I'm being disrespectful and I will correct it.
But... am I the only one who wants Sophie to be trans? Like... the reason Benedict could not find the silver lady is because Sophie is working as a footman in real life. Like... idk.
That would make the chase/search harder.
Idk idk, I can't gather my thoughts well. I just want Sophie to be trans. That's it.
Please write a fan fic with this idea in mind
In case they're gonna do a Violet-Edmund spinoff, I wish to see how Mrs Wilson (Bridgerton housekeeper) and Mrs Varley (Featherington housekeeper) came to work in their respective families.
My headcanon is that both women were ladies maids to their mistresses (much like Rae is to Penelope) before they were promoted to head housekeepers.
I wish for backstories on how both housekeepers came to be loyal and formidable forces of natures that they are. What shenanigans did they endured to truly know their mistresses and to be trusted by them completely.
I kinda wish for Portia to be from Ireland, with rich merchants as parents, but since she is not their heir, she had to marry for security. I want Varley and Portia be up to no good constantly, with Varley as the one always getting them into trouble, a wildchild (as opposed to her prim and proper and voice of reason older self) and Portia the stressed out mistress. Until it's time for Portia to take a husband and Varley watched as the light and youthfulness drained out of her young mistress' eyes. Angst. I want all of it.
I want one of the things that they robbed of us. Penelope and Colin childhood meet-cute in the last episode (or middle, whatevs, just... meet-cute!) when the Featheringtons moved in from across the road.
Uuughhh the things they could add to the history and lore of this universe.
In any interviews, did anyone ever asked why Colin has a different voice than Luke? I mean... I like that he sounds softer and sweeter and kinder, but... why? You know what I mean?
Anyone???

AAAAAAACCCCCCKKKK the most beautiful woman in the world T...T
#a lot of pro-lifers fail to understand that late term abortions happens to women who wanted the child#but are forced to terminate the pregnancy because of issues like these or malformations or are life-threatening to the mother#and this behaviour is just causing pain on more pain#pro-life is just being sadistic and cruel 99% of the time for the sake of it
and she COULD have chosen death. She COULD have chosen not to abort. She COULD have let her baby die slowly and followed after. You could choose that, too, if you had the choice. It’s not about forcing abortions on people. It’s not about making them do it. It’s about having a choice, and protecting that choice. So that people can choose.
Everyone should have the ability to choose.

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters… S.T..R … My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks. STROKE IDENTIFICATION: During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance) They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the party . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this… STROKE IDENTIFICATION: A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough. RECOGNIZING A STROKE Remember the ‘3’ steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions : S * Ask the individual to SMILE .. T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg ‘It is sunny out today’). R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS . If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. NOTE : Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is 1. Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue. 2. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved. And it could be your own.
First reblog post that actually saves a life.
This is a life-saving post.
the more you know
yeah don’t think that this can’t happen to you or someone you know if they’re young. my cousin’s wife is 33 and she had a stroke last year
I’ve had a stroke. It happens to people, and the more you know about this kind of stuff, the better.Because it could be important to know.
LIVE SAVING. WOOOAHH. REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG
Had a family member almost die of one, so signal boosting because you never know when you could save a life.
Because I feel bad if I don’t reblog…
My mother died after being paralyzed by a stroke. Please read this^
I remember a while ago here in UK there were stroke-identifying adverts. Their catchphrase was FAST:
F- Face: is their face fallen on one side?
A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?
S- Speech: is their speech slurred? Can they speak a full sentence?
T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.
We managed to save my nana with this information when she had her first stroke.

Colin and his beautiful, protective hand.
s3 Colin is the sexiest one blah blah blah BUT s2 Colin with his hair from season 3???
YES! LOOK AT HIM!
After Edmund died, Violet leaned on Anthony to run the estate, Benedict to look after the children, and Colin for herself.
We know how being thrust into the role of Viscount so young and so tragically impacted Anthony. His kept his siblings, with the exception of Benedict, at arm’s length. It’s not to say he didn’t love them! But he had this barrier up which wouldn’t allow him to think of himself as anything but their guardian and protector. Kate gave him the strength to knock it down and he was able to foster a brotherly relationship with them.
We’ve seen how close Benedict is with all of his siblings. When Anthony suddenly became the head of the family, Benedict took his role as “big brother” very seriously. He even acted in that way with Anthony! I’ve adored watching how he is with his siblings and how his relationship with each of them is so different, and I’m sure they’ll only evolve as he finds his own path.
Colin is, without a doubt, a mama’s boy. He doesn’t escape his mother’s clutches at a ball, even though the older boys do. He makes sure she’s taken care of, is sensitive to her feelings, and provides her gifts. He takes his mother’s words to heart because she is very in-tune with his emotions. I wouldn’t be surprised if Violet ends up living with him and Pen in her old age.
I just love my ABC brothers and their mama so much.
And Portia will be living with them as well, although I'd like to think she will rotate with Prudence and Phillipa.
The tongue
The sucking of that tongue
The intensity
The nails on his neck
The passion
I need someone to calm me down about this kiss..
That is so fucking hot.
