i made this post in like 2015, making fun of the kind of #90skids nostalgiabait you saw with the same phrase and characters from dexter’s lab hey arnold catdog etc, replaced with these meme characters that at the time were just fading in popularity a couple of years before. now more than 10 years later, with people reblogging this i feel the ironic detachment of the original post has rusted and collapsed, and what’s left is a bunch of people that really remember these guys…and their childhood was awesome!

Reddit is etiquette-moderated to the gills ever since its IPO. Twitter gets you hounded by nazis and fired from your job. Bluesky is the same as Twitter but maybe with half as many nazis. Tiktokkers can't even say the word kill without getting scared. Every mainstream media outlet will have you believing the victims were saints. It's making me insane.
