It’s not lost on me how Jason is the only Robin to come from a life of poverty and crime, and is treated like a fundamentally broken monster in many comic books, given even less grace than Damian. “Something is not right with that boy” FUCK YOU DC. He was twelve years old. Him being slightly agressive because he knew, better than Batman or Nightwing or Barbara, how rotten Gotham was because he GREW UP in that environment did not make him evil or broken.

So let me get this straight.

Fisk got away with everything for the second times and is now on a beautiful island somewhere. Mind you he was soaked with the blood of the civils he just killed with his barre hands when Matt offered him grace. Yeah ok... why not, uh? Why the fuck not. its incredibly interesting to think about how important honesty and by extension trust are to sam especially in contract with his mentor who is a human lie detector and loves nothing more than lying to other people. The way matt so flippantly and by default lies to everyone is insane if you think about the fact people Cannot lie to him in turn. Where matt gets to lie and to have secrets and choose when to share things, none of his loved ones get the same privilege in return when it comes to him. This is disastrous in all aspects of his life, but especially when it comes to sam it is egregious. Sam clearly values honesty very highly and he is so desperate to be seen and believed, and for people to understand and trust that he's telling the truth. Sam never pried about daredevils secret identity and he respected when dd shot down his questions, because he believed daredevil was treating him with the same amount of trust and respect in kind. So for him to find out that the entire time, daredevil wasn't just being respectful and trusting him to tell the truth and understanding his boundaries, he just wasn't asking because he already knew. The whole time he knew his full name all of his family his involvement with the church So many things sam would not have wanted to share and certainly wouldn't have wanted to just have sniffed out. And from a man who told him He Saw Him in their first interaction. Its completely batshit insane sam shouldve killed him
