Apparently there's no valko in today's update. So fuck it. I'm going back to my roots.

I'm coming back to Yoosung and Zen while we continue the boycott‼️ The RFA is getting all the money I was going to spend on Xavier in July.

Not to give anyone false hope but, one of my feedback emails finally got a (automated) reply. I didn't notice until today because it went to my spam folder.

For reference, the ticket content listed below is from the first feedback email I sent before more came out about the valko situation. What I wrote back then is based on my initial thoughts and the heat of the moment. Now I want Valko to release globally as originally intended.

Anyways, the valko petition is at 83% of it's goal. If anyone is interested in signing it:

I saw this fun idea on Instagram to send valko to space. So I sent valko and Xavier and I into space. The NASA website even makes digital boarding passes for the names you send into space!!(⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

I used Xavier's Chinese name as my last name for fun🤭

in the meantime, no logging in, no spending money! we just gotta keep the pressure on infold.

and please remember, this game makes infold abt 40 million per month on average. they won't shut shit down form a week of boycotts and negative reviews. Hell infinity nikki is still up and getting regular updates after the massive retcon they pulled back in early 2025 and subsequent massive boycotts, review bombing, and backlash, and it does not make nearly the same amount of money as LaDS.

In 2018 and for roughly 2 years after I was part of a campaign to save an unfairly canceled TV show (you probably heard about us), we had a plane and billboards and bus ads, we staged an event at SDCC, we got the cast people’s choice awards with aggressive voting and SO MUCH MORE. We had posting schedules called ‘power hours’ three times a day on Twitter, where we would post with the tag, I had alarms for them. It was a wild time but also very emotionally draining, I was chronically online looking at news and posts at all hours, I was in group chats. It consumed me.

It was rough at times and a very long fight. Did we succeed? No. But that was because of network corporate bullshit. Would I do it again? Probably? Because being passionate about media you love being treated unfairly and using your voice to do so is never a waste of time. In my opinion.

All of this is to say, I see you. I see your efforts and I appreciate you, be proud of what you’ve done. Regardless of what Infold does we have kept Valko alive, we have made news, we have made him trend, we are doing our part. We will not forget him nor will we let Infold forget.

DO NOT fall for rumours, speculation or any “I heard this.” “Someone said” “The streets are saying”, whatever it is. Anyone can say anything and make up things. Unless it comes from an official source, it doesn’t matter. Pay them no mind and keep doing what you’re doing. AND please don’t be attacking each other, that is counterintuitive to our efforts. Use your block button, mute tags, don’t let negativity get to you. Maintain your space.

And most importantly, take care of yourselves. I know how this is, trust me, I KNOW. Lost sleep, losing entire days, missing important things. Real life comes first and you must take time for that and for yourself.

So take breaks, with your friends, with your family, with other media you enjoy. Keep up the good fight but do not let it consume you.

Hey so I actually hate the love and deep space community rn. What do you guys mean you got a whole new character just completely canceled because you couldn’t have your way. And you guys are absolutely reaching, papergames came out and said the names and numbers where completely picked at random and generated. You guys are such chuds I was so excited for Valko. Like why do you some of you guys think a Chinese company that makes there games for a big majority of Chinese fans would make anti Chinese content???like wtf. Like bitch this is not on the same level as like the yandere simulator controversy. The entire world does not revolve around you and they can’t make special events specifically YOUR favorite character whenever you want. Aight, I didn't say anything yesterday mostly because I didn't feel like checking Tumblr about it, but I'm here today.

Infold. What the fuck?

For those who missed it, Infold (the company behind Love and Deepspace) announced the addition of a new love interest, Valko. He seems like an interesting dude. I'd like to meet him.

Except I can't, now. They're cancelling his release and the addition of any future potential love interests.

Essentially, a lot of the Chinese players and community sent A LOT of backlash about Valko. Clearly insecure about their own development and easily folding to only a certain audience of fans, Infold pulled back on the decision.

I haven't touched the game, myself, in a couple of months and it was taking up a lot of storage on my phone, already. I was already considering deleting the game. Thanks for helping me settle my decision, Infold.

And, of course, the main thing is that it seems the fuckass company only listens to the CN players and never any international players. So the backlash from those individuals had a voice and no one else, apparently They show that energy for a wolf boy but not for the lowkey incestuous trope I'm sorry who said that.

I have already seen sprouting rumors that they might turn this around but take that with a grain of salt, do not quote me on that. However, people are already beginning to push back against the choice Infold made. If you can, you can go to their XHS account and comment. Below, are emails you can contact if you wish to reach out.
