My favorite song is hard because it's always changing. Fireflies by Owl City was the first song I ever loved, and I do still love it. The Killing Kind by Mariana's Trench is certainly a fantastic one I've been playing on repeat for a Moon Knight animatic in my head, and a LOT of Friday Pilots Club songs are absolutely peak but I really love Hot Mess and We Don't Wanna Talk right now.

Things that remind me of You are very easy because I have learned so many wonderful things from you. Religious texts, the smell of old books, glowstone in minecraft(for some reason), the smell of the ocean, small weeds growing from cracks, late night movies, scribbled plans from group brainstorming, the smell of ink from ball point pens, the feeling of pages being flipped against your fingers. Also a lot of older buildings, and run down backstage areas in theaters.

In honor of pride, I wanted to take a chance to redesign the flag for my lesser known gender identity, Dengender. There are two different iterations of the identity that have come up over the years, cave specific and burrow specific, but generally the idea behind the identity is a gender deeply rooted in being a home and habitat for other living creatures, such as a cave or underground dwelling. This has been the one gender that I have connected to the most in all my time searching, but both of the previous flags designed were a bit overwhelming and would likely be difficult to implement in a lot of common spaces, so I tried to come up with one of my own using the colors I've associated with it the most!

I put some reasonings and meanings for the colors, and there's also the more detailed design vs. a more simplified version. There may be a better way to do the simplified or detailed design, though, so I want to leave it to the people! What do we think?

btw this isn't solely a disability rights issue or an issue about people who are entirely unable to work. you should also be thinking about the people who are regarded as unhireable. transfems are hugely discriminated against in this way, people of color are passed over for less qualified white people, anyone who has any difficulty playing the interview game is less hireable... frankly anyone who made the mistake of pursuing the things they love and now has a degree for a niche field. if you still joke about Jobless People it's because you've fundamentally connected the worth of people to their labor, and specific labor, work that you see as valuable. and while i'm at it stop making fun of people who still live with their parents. asshole.
